Workin' Those Printables

Hey!!  Jody here today on this very Good Friday.  Today, I have a couple pocket-style pages to share using my Debutante Kit elements and printables. These layouts are actually in the same page protector, just back to back.   I loved Erica's pocket page layout yesterday with her bright pops of yellow against her mostly black background.  Wasn't that eye-catching!!  I loved it.  Today's pages also have some pops of color, but there's a variety.   Plus, I'll show you another way to get the most out of your printables. 

Just a little side note here... You've seen me do this before, but I wanted to just point out quick how I added a few more pictures to my pocket page.  I hand cut a couple little banners from the edge strips off the 12x12" sheets and adhered them to the top of some extra pictures.  These little banners will serve as pull tabs so you can easily pull out of the photos and check them out!  Ok, I digress...

Above, you can see I punched out Lacey's printable designs as intended using the same shape.  Below, check out the patterns  from the Debutante printables which weren't predestined to be hearts or clouds. I printed out an extra set and punched some shapes!   The yellow heart was actually punched out from the yellow journaling card with the camera on it "Take a picture it will last longer."

And here they are in action!  I added two punched hearts from the Debutante printables on top of the printed heart (pink card).  This has some special meaning for us, as I often say to our girls, "I love, love, love you!"  I added a few banners and circles to the bottom left photo of the runaway truck ramp coming up.  And who doesn't love the "To Be Continued" thicker stickers from Amy Tangerine!!?  These are super cute and can have so many different uses and meanings.

I hope you've been inspired to print out some more printables and get punching!  You don't have to go crazy with embellishments and extras to spice up your pocket pages, but it sure is fun.
