Hello my Crafty Friends! It is Ali here today to share a fun layout that I created with Vicki Boutin's Story Teller line. I was able to take a trip to Italy with Vicki in 2016 and we got to visit the Da Vinci Museum in Florence, Italy. Of Course, I had to use Vicki's collection to document our trip. I started off with two sheets of the stripe paper and to save from using another sheet I cut out the middle of one of them. I used that middle section that I cut out to make a smaller square that I distressed and matted onto black cardstock. I then used my second stripe sheet to back my title cut file from Cut To You. I lined up the square to the bottom stripe sheet and then lined up my cut file so it looks like one piece of paper was used. To give it dimension I used foam tape to mat my square and my title. To have some fun I added some embellishments to my layout using a few stickers and some ephemera from the Story Teller line. I fell in love with that daisy paper and had to back up the bird using the pretty paper. You can find this paper in the Clique Chromatics/Pantone Kit. The papers in there are just gorgeous. And did you know that Gia will be carrying Vicki's new Color Study Line. Make sure you grab that one right away because I am positive that will sell out quickly. Thanks for joining me today and I can't wait to see what everyone is creating this month! Love, Ali ![]()
