Repurposed Mixed Media Jewelry Box | Sarah Wyles

Good morning everyone!
Sarah here this morning to share a quick project I made for a Don't throw me away post. I had a little box, it had makeup in it really, but I thought it was something I could use again for something, instead of just throwing it away and adding to the landfill. So I kept it. Then my daughter's B-day rolled around, I had bought her a pretty rose quartz heart necklace but didn't have anything to put it in, I saw this box and thought I would make it pretty and put the necklace in it for her.

So I started with some papers from the Limited edition kit | Little one. I love these papers! Everything is black, white and grey and you can add all the color you want to them.

I cut some papers down to fit the front, back and sides of the box and added them to it, then pulled some of my Prima art alchemy opal magic paint and added some to the seams where the paper came together. I let it dry, then added some flowers from my stash, along with some of the cute little animal stickers from the sticker sheet in the kit and the love you so much sticker. I slid the necklace into the box and I was done. She loved it by the way! And she kept the box and put it on her shelf.
