Hello Clique International friends! Today it's Giorgia here to keep you company! Here in the blog we have a brand new category that is called "on repeat": we will give you some ideas to use a repeated element (can be a shape, a color...) on your project. This category seems to be made for me, since I love to make layout with repeated shape on their background, so here it is my first inspiration for you: grab many different patterned papers and using a die-cutting machine, a plotter or a puncher create a lot of circles. Arrange them in lines and here it is your really effective background! I used the stunning Sedona kit, that features Prima Marketing Golden Desert collection: as its name say, this collection has beautiful references to desert shapes and colors - it is a lovely mix of sand, gold, brown, blush, and copper foil accents. I hope to be able to travel again soon, but in the meantime I still have many pictures left from a road trip to Southwest U.S. National Park that only waited for this kit to be used!! I am in love with the decorated wooden stickers included in the kit! I used tons of die-cut to layer the pictures and I gently curl up their edges to give movement and dimension to the page. For the title I used the foam stickers by Simple Stories in the kit: its color perfectly blend in! I added some clear drops from the package full of sequins, drops and gem in the kit: I love to add this kind of little embellishments, they always add that special something to every project! I hope you will give this design a try (don't forget to tag us #cliqueinternational so we can see your makes!); you can try this kind of background for layouts and cards too and If you want a slightly different version of it, try by distressing the circles edges!
