My Kinda People | Rachel Lowe

Hi all Rachel here and today I am scrap lifting one of our members from The Clique on FB. I am a fan of Pazzy Seravalli layouts and this one she made for our Handmade Holidays is a real fav.

I used the Fall stories kit and add on to create my layout. Cut file by Paige Evans (Confetti Hearts).

Instead of recreating Pazzy's mixed media background I used the cut file to give a similar visual effect backing it with a soft pink as I did not want it to be overwhelming.

In keeping with the scattered effect of the elements once I added the die cut envelope I added die cut and puffy sticker leaves.

I layered my photo, added some machine stitching and added my photo with foam tape to create a 3D effect. I finished off adding a brad and small floral die cut.

I chose a heart shape instead of a circle, I added my photo slightly over the heart to connect them. I added machine stitching to my heart and placed over the edge of my white background and cut a little off. I then embellished my heart.

I created an embellishment cluster, layering under and over. I also added a light splatter of gold paint.

I pretty much kept to Pazzy's layout and finally added my title as she did which links all the elements. I love how this layout turned out and it came together quickly having inspiration and a gorgeous layout on hand to lift. Thank you Pazzy for your inspiration!
