Hey my Clique friends! Michelle here, sharing a fun and festive layout with y'all that I made with the Limited Edition Kit El Mariachi World Heritage Kit. And just in time for for Cinco de Mayo! Now don't get me wrong, I don't always scrapbook...but when I do, it's usually about Mexico so this kit was well needed! LOL! Seriously! Take a peek and see what I mean! ![]() The papers in this kit by Crafty Chica really made quick work of this page. It was so easy to layer them up and mix and match them. It all looked fab! I selected the papers I wanted to use, cut them down to size and distressed them with the blade of my scissors before stitching them in place with my sewing machine. I also stitched my photo on top to keep it cohesive. For my title I used some old American Craft letter stickers and some other letter alphas from my stash. I spelled out Mexico and placed it on a piece of patterned paper then cut it out leaving a uniform border and glued all my title pieces down. Next I cut various pieces of patterned papers from the kit to form the banner and zig zag stitched it to my page. Lastly I added one of the sweet little piñata embellishments to finish it off.
This page would be perfect for any fiesta, birthday or even just a fun summer page! Thank you so much for stopping! I hope you were inspired to make something beautiful!
