Hi Clique friends. Tânia here today with you! Today’s prompt is Let’s get sketchy and guess what?? Am a bit terrible to get sketchy hahaha.
I guess my creativity freeze when need to make something based in another something. Never know if I should go literal or make a free interpretation. So, today I decided to shake it all up for a bit. Hope that´s ok.
Picked up this sketch from Pagemaps.com (http://www.pagemaps.com/jul21-pagemaps) and my first idea was to create an art journal page but then had so limited space for all the elements that decided to cut a scrapbook paper into the sketch measurements (8,5” x 11” ) and make a layout. This is the sketch I chose.
The truth is… It took me longer than I was expecting but I did it and am thrilled that I accomplished a creative challenge. Also, I’m very proud with the result.
I decided to use some papers from Vintage Artistry- Lilac kit that I've used before. This kit was just wonderful and had so much beautiful things that need to make a few projects with it. I love explore the same kit for different projects (who said that we need to use everthing into just one project. hahaha). To avoid monochromatic, added to it some new colours using some elements from a Mintay Papers tag book. (since the products that I have in this project are out of stock I left below some links with beautiful suggestions tho).
The sewing stiches give an extra boost to this layout. Don´t you agree?
Hope you feel inspired to explore the same kit in different ways and projects.
