Hello Clique International friends! Giorgia here today with a new layout. Ripped paper were really popular in scrapbooking in the past and lately I saw it is coming back as a trend in many projects, so I wanted to make it the protagonist of my page. I ripped different pages from this paper pack and layered them in the centre of another patterned paper. To tone down the papers and make a perfect base to make my picture pop out, I added some white gesso and gold ink splatters here and there around the spot where I wanted to place the picture. That's it; in just few minutes I had an awesome background ready. I used a beautiful chipboard frame to layer the picture, along with some die-cut and I added a loooot of different embellishments: puffy stickers, other ephemera, a tassel, flowers, epoxy stickers... All this different kind of embellishments contribute to give texture to the project. If you saw my previous posts, now you know that I LOVE fussy cutting! It is one of my favorite technique and I tend to use it almost in every project; here I fussy cut those beautiful butterflies from this amazing patterned paper. I added enamel dots and faceted gems from different Clique kits: I love to add this kind of embellishments (and also sequins) as finishing touch to my project, because they add the right amount of sparkle without being too invasive. Did you spot the epoxy flair that says "grow"?! It is from a pack included in this kit: they are Scrappin Happy Studio Clique International exclusive flairs! I used these supplies from the shop:
Ciao, alla prossima
