Hello Clique International friends! Today it's Giorgia here to keep you company! For the "inspired by" category I made a layout inspired by this quote: "I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list". If you are following me here in the blog, you know that I have what they call "wanderlust", a strong desire and need to travel and discover the world; I share this passion with my husband and we took great travels together in the past years. For example we took a road trip on West US and we visited so many beautiful cities and nature's wonders. One of them is Canyonlands, were we took this picture of me watching the infinity under a big blue sky. The big blue sky inspired me to make a monochromatic blue layout: I created the background with a stencil and Distress Oxide in two different blue tones. Then I created the giant quote title using this awesome die from Lora Bailora to cut a beautiful all blue Paige Evan's paper from her last collection that you can find in ADD-ON KIT | THE SCENIC ROUTE PAPER PACK | AMERICAN CRAFTS composing the quote. I added tone on tone embellishments from different Clique kits. I outlined the letters with black gel pen to make them pop from the background. Here it is my finished layout: I used these products from the shop:
Oh, and wait, that's more: if you cut the letters from patterned papers rectangles, you obtain this cute leftover that you can adhere on cardstock and use as tag for a package, or to create a title for another layout! (In the background you can see the embroidery hoop I made some time ago for Clique - you can find the post here in case you missed it).
Ciao, a presto,
