Hello friends today I have a sweet card to share.
My last DT share I created a layout where I fussy cut the wreath but only used half on the layout. Well this is how I used up the second half of the wreath. Firstly I cut a 5x7 inch strip from off white cardstock. I cut the same from the wreath paper, measuring 2.5 inches either side of the centre of the wreath. I machine stitched around the edge of this paper piece. This then created the visual cascading effect of the tulips. I added the larger dragonfly from the die cut pack attaching with foam tape. I chose a word sentiment from the Heidi Swapp stickers and again attached with foam tape. I finished the front of my card off with a light splatter of black color shine.
With a left over piece of the wreath paper I cut it so it would sit in the corner of the inner of my card. I machine stitched around the edge as I did on the front. I did not use foam tape to adhere as I did not want it to be too bulky. I chose another word sentiment sticker (attached with foam tape) to finish off.
This card is totally about beautiful papers and a very gorgeous dragonfly die cut! Machine stitching really adds a nice texture on a card.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and have look and read.
See you soon.
