Hello Clique Friends, How are you today? Are you ready for vacation? I am more than ready! One of the things I love about scrapbooking is going back in time. Take those old photos from almost 10 years and create a page as if it were today. Remember the moment, feel the joys... Do you feel it too? Today I'm going to show you a layout that I made with the beautiful Day at the Park Paper Pack.
This paper pack is so special that you can create a lot of projects with it. Paper Pack includes (2) each of 4 double sided designs perfect for a Mini Album, tag album, or adding to your collection of Disney theme crafting supplies. You can fussy cut elements from the papers and use it like die cuts.
Let's talk about this 12x12 layout and how I made it. First of all, I chose the plaid paper for my background and a black cardstock just highlighting the white cardstock on top. On a white cardstock I used a star stencil with yellow distress oxide. I sewed the black and white papers with yellow thread with my sewing machine. Then, I started to fussy cutting my papers. First I cut a strip of film from the film paper, and hollowed out some squares, allowing the star designs in the background to show through more. When gluing the strip of film paper, I made some slight folds to give the paper some movement.
I cut three tags from the tag paper and placed them behind my photos, which had already been glued with foam sticker to add volume. All of elements were glued after that. Finishing my page, I just added few drops of Nuvo drops.
Sometimes we just need a few pieces of paper and a good pair of scissors to create a fun layout.
Hope you enjoy it and thank you for stopping by. See you soon in the next blog post.
