Hello Clique International Freinds, it's Piroska here today with the 4th stamping challenge of the Stamp-tember month! :-) I used the Glorious Foliage Kit from the Explore and Learn Series, extended with two more inkpads: Catherine Pooler Premium Dye Ink Pad in colour Sauna und Eucalyptus. The Glorius Foliage Kit includes a great stamp set full of beautiful leaves with coordinating dies. Inspired by the colour of the stamp pads (and the season in the Northern Hemisphere) I stamped some leaves in the colours of autumn. I wanted to recreate the beauty of fall, so I stamped each item twice, once with the same colour, once with an other. And that is the fourth challenge: stamp twice! Try to make ombre effect or brighter colours - nature has several shades of one colour, let's copy it! Advanced level: spray the stamped image with water, it would add a special effect. Make a layout, a TN spread or a card with the double stamped image(s)! I used Catherine Pooler Proemium Dye Ink in Sauna first, than Mandarine Spice (which you can find in the Glorious Foliage Kit), or Mandarine Spice with Green Tea (also part of the Glorious Foliage Kit) makes a brown tone. Use the shades of one colour, explore and have fun! ;-) When I was ready with my leaves, I started to make my layout. I've chosen a photo from a few years ago, when we were in Sopron and had long walks in the forest. It was soooo beautiful! I used the September Song Base Kit, and chose the Heidi Swapp Old School Summerland paper, which I found is perfect for fall as well, despite its name ;-) I backed my photo with some patterned paper - for yellowish colours I used both sides of the Sunlight paper of the Magical Forest collection by Crate Paper. ![]() I glued my leaves diagonal as they were falling, added some die cuts and a title sticker from the September Song kit. I hope you play along with us! Try this technique and create a layout, a TN spread or a card with the double stamped image(s) and show us what you've made in the Clique facebook group!
Can't wait to see what you create!
