Hello everyone!! I don't spend much time on Pinterest these days, but when I do...man am I inspired! I could look at all the pretty images for hours. This month, I drew inspiration from a few different images. The colors are so beautiful and they are all so delightful! I was really drawn towards the fuchsia. The color is sooo pretty! What do you think of these images? Aren't they beautiful! To create the background I used the Fuchsia Stencil Butter and the Peruvian Lily Stencil to add some gorgeous flowers! When applying the Stencil Butter through the stencil, it is a good idea to tape down the stencil using washi tape to prevent the stencil from slipping. If you chose not to tape down the edges, be sure to hold the stencil at the top and gently pull the butter through the stencil. I've done this technique a lot so I did not use anything to hold it down. :) I inked the edges using the black ink to make the colors pop. I really like the contrast between the bright colors with the black. Before I placed the embellishments down, I splashed some black gesso onto the flowers to grunge it up a bit. I cut the flowers out from the A.B. Studio papers. LOVE their papers...seriously, they are so much fun to work with. I especially love their abstract designs. Thanks so much for visiting today!
