Hello there, it's Giorgia here today with a diy Christmas project.
Do you love to create your own Christmas home decor? I sure do!
Each year I make something new for my home and this year I decided to make a wreath for our front door.
It is so easy to make and it gives a lot of wow effect!
I made the base with a recycled cardboard cut as a wreath and to decorate it I used the beautiful SEASONAL SERIES | HEY, SANTA! | CRATE PAPER (kit is sold out, but you can still buy papers here).
Here it is my new Christmas wreath:
To create the wreath I cut patterned paper stripes and glued the ends together to create a loop. I glued them on the cardboard base and that's it! I added a pom pom ribbon as finishing touch.
In the centre I created a sort of snowy scene, using acetate filled with faux snow. I decorated with stickers and die cuts representing a town decorated for Christmas, with homes, snowman, reindeer, a car carrying gifts and a faux Christmas tree (I added a faceted star on top of it!)
I added felt snowflakes from this cute kit.
I also added a strip of colored led lights with batteries: I placed them between the two layers of papers.
I love so much how the wreath turned out! It is so colorful, festive and it brings me joy!
I used these products from the shop:
In Clique FB group, The Clique, we are having a "handmade holiday" challenge, and this wreath is one of my inspirations for it: come play with us, you could win an awesome prize! All the details can be find in the group page.
My next post will be online after Christmas, so I wish you Buon Natale!
Have a good day!
Ciao, a presto.
