Hey hey ya'll! I'm super excited to share this tiny buy mighty little project with ya!! It's a rolodex...in an altoids tin! eekkk! Ok so let me back up, the Clique shop had these altoid tins in stock so I had to grab one even though I wasn't exactly sure what I was planning on doing with it. But as I was going through all my Clique Christmas goodies, I pulled out the Christmas Crafting Pack and oh my goodness! I knew exactly what I wanted to do! I also had the "It's a Wonderful Life" kit as well so I was able to pull a few items from there to fill in the gaps as well. I cut out small tab divider cards out of a piece of thin chipboard that was included in the kit and splattered it with watered down white paint to make it look "snowy". Next I attached some embellishments with a sturdy glue (I used hot glue since these were some thick dimensional items). Finally I decorated the top of the tin. I adhered some of the glitter with a generous amount of glue to the top of the tin to resemble snow and continued to attach embellishments to form a little snowy scene. Once I was done I wanted a tangible use for my little organizer. I decided to use it as a tag organizer for my little tags I gather and make for gifts. I gave myself a head start by making a few matching gift tags to tuck inside.
I just thought it was super cute and love that I will have a sweet little tag organizer right on my counter for me to flip through when I need one for a quick gift. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you were inspired to make something beautiful!
