Hello Lovelies! I have another fall layout to share with you today using my Seneca Falls kit. The temperatures are dropping so quickly and the leaves won't last much longer, but we can keep scrapping our fall photos as long as we wish!
There were two amazing products in the Clique Kits shop that inspired this layout: the How Beautiful Cut File and these gorgeous wood veneer from Noiscizma that were offered in the shop as well. All of these coordinate so well with the wood grain paper from the kit.
I began my layout with some quick and messy paint splatters on the background. While those were drying, I cut out some of the patterned papers from the kit and adhered those to the wood veneer flowers. I used Tombow liquid adhesive and covered the papers with a layer of the glue as well.
I wanted everything on the layout to contrast with the background, so I pulled the pink and black elements from the kit and I cut the cut file from pink card stock. The wood flowers add a beautiful look to the cut file!
My photo for this layout is from a recent hike we took around a lake near our home, called Salem Lake. The kids were off ahead of us and I have been taking note lately of how grown up they are now. No longer elementary school age, so much more independent, and of course all of these are good things and I am learning to let them go. I am so proud of them, of our family, and love being able to put all that onto a layout like this.
Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope you are inspired to use your Seneca Falls kit! See you again soon!
Hello everyone! This is my last blog post in 2017 and I would like to say thank you all so much for the love and support.
Today I have a new layout to share with you that was really fun to put together.
When I saw the very pretty “wonderful” die-cut shape from the Dear Lizzy: Stargazer - Copper Foil Ephemera Pack I knew I would like to use it for the Christmas theme layout. So the today’s layout was to built around this title.
The first thing I did was paint a pinewood on a white cardstock and after I have cut it out and adhered to the other white cardstock to create a little dimension for it.
Than I have edited the JOY title with the Silhouette software and after I have cut it out from the Dear Lizzy: Stargazer - Woodland Wonder paper. This pink striped patterned paper is really lovely and I could use for this Christmas theme layout. I have added them with 3D foam tape to it.
I have placed the “wonderful” die-cut shape under the JOY title and I have created the “time of the year” title from the black alphabet stickers sheet to the bottom of the pinewood. I have write “the most” words with my hand between the JOY and “wonderful” words.
I have also added some wood veneer from the Paige Evans: Turn the Page collection.
In the end I added pink machine stitching around my page and dropped some mists using Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine.
And done! I really like how it turned out.
The today’s layout message is : JOY the most wonderful time of the year.
I hope you are inspired to create a Christmas page. Thanks for joining me today, Merry Christmas! Réka
Hi Ladies! It' Réka here and I am so excited to share my very first layout created with the December Main kit.
I often use hand stitching on my projects. For this layout I stitched the big part of the background. This idea come from Paige Taylor Evans’ wonderful page.
I used the Ugly Sweater printable as the background and used cross hand stitching on it. After a lot of time it was done.
I also used the cut file for the Christmas title.
Over the photo I placed the Wood Veneers from the Paige Evans: Turn the Page collection. When it was ready I’ve also splattered some watercolour with my brush on the page.
And done! I really like how it turned out.
I hope you liked new Christmas layout. Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful crafty day! Réka

The Clique Kits Girls
Jody here today and I'm super excited to share my latest process video with you! When I saw the Allison Kreft's Capture Life line, I just loved it! I love the colors and patterns, especially the teal and pink together. I also feel I can relate to Allison in a few ways. After all, she's a busy mama raising her family all while pursuing her career in design and being creative (sometimes into the late hours of night, which sounds all to familiar!) I think many of us can relate to her on that level!
Being that I love this line right now, I am really crazy about our Midnight Summer's Dream kit! This week I've created a fun video for you, showing little 'ol me creating a layout from start to finish. You'll see how I move things around my layout as I'm putting it together and adding little details towards the end. Well, enough said by me, go grab your favorite beverage (and maybe a snack), sit back and enjoy! BOTLO (be on the look out) for a fun glassine bag pocket filled with the resin shapes, Chic Tags Wood Sequins (in the July Kit) and yellow squares which are negative shapes from die cutting the awesome Echo Park Viewfinder!!
Thank you for watching today! Here are the Clique Kits products used to create today's layout:
