It’s Isa today here and I am very happy to show you a new project I made with the Unforgettable Kit.
Today’s project is a coptic book. Since I got the binding tool of We’R Memory Keepers I haven’t been able to stop doing this kind of projects. I just love creating the books and I find it very relaxing to do the stitching and adding so many complements!
The book I am presenting today is very small. It’s 3x4 inches and I love creating them in this size. The covers are two pieces of wood I cut myself at home and the inside pages are papers from the collection of Cocoa Vanilla Studio that are included in the Unforgettable Kit of Clique Kits. I painted the covers in white so it combines perfectly well with the rest of the papers. The mint thread is also perfect for the colors of all the complements in the collection.
What I like the most is to add charms to the books, I add them at the time I stitch the divisions into the book.
As a title of the book, I have used some thickers included in the Unforgettable Kit. I think that coptic books are a great way of storing a great amount of pictures and also an amazing way of creating very original and beautiful notebooks.
I hope you liked this one and I hope to be back soon with new projects and ideas.
Hey everybody! It’s Isa (https://www.instagram.com/_isa_ng_/) and I am thrilled to be here. It
is a great honor to be part of the Passport design team and to be able to create with these wonderful kits. On
today’s post I want to show you one of the layouts I’ve made using the Unforgettable Kit. I love
the colors and the embellishments in this kit.
I have used as the base of the layout one of the patterned papers of the collection that has a
wreath of flowers.
What I have done is to combine some die cuts of the collection, mostly the ones that are
flowers like the ones in the paper and put them with some 3D squares to add volume to the
layout. It is a way of making a simple paper more complex and quite remarkable to the eye.
I have placed the flowers around the picture, that it is also with a frame that is included in the
die cuts of the collection. For the picture I have used also the sticker with the word
“snapshots” because this picture was taken by my boyfriend when we were having lunch in a
restaurant and I did not notice that he was taking it.
To add more special details to the project I have added some drops of watercolors of different
colors go with the flowers I have used.
As a title, I have used the thicker with the word “Bloom” so it can complement
and embellish the layout.
I hope you like it and you get inspired by it! See you soon with new creations!
Lots of love,
