Hi crafty friends! Rita here with my last official project and blog post for Clique International. Today I want to share a spread in my Storyline Chapters Notebook. I use the Planner Notebook right now, but if I have many pictures of one event (mostly of day trips on weekends), I love to make a double page layout in between weekly spreads. I documented a fun Saturday afternoon at Lake Constance. Some of the projects I've used are still available in the shop, so make sure to check them out. (Especially if you still have some summer memories to document!) Here's a list of the products: Summer Feels Cut Apart Paper Pack Watermelon Sugar Modern Documenter Kit Heidi Swapp Sunny Skies Paper Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters insters | Planner As you can see I cut apart the tags from one of the Simple Stories papers which were included in the Summer Feels Paper Pack and put them on the Sunny Skies paper from the current Heidi Swapp collection. I also used stencils from my stash. The leaf is from Heidi Swapp, the other one from Kesi'Art. The rest of the embellishments are from the Watermelon Sugar Kit. I also included a flip card (because I had too many pictures lol). It's a fun little detail and also a great way to add more space for photos or journaling. Let's take a look at the whole spread. I hope you feel inspired to document your summer memories or even try out the Storyline Chapter notebooks (if you still haven't). Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting!

Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. For this share I got the challenge "On Repeat", so I had to use a pattern, a colour, a texture or a shape repetitivly. I chose three photos and my Storyline Chapters insert to make a spread for this challenge. I chose the Sunkissed Sampler Kit of Cocoa Vanilla Studio for this spread. I had two vertical and one horisontal photo, so first I arranged the photos. Then I chose some patterned papers, and cut some hearts with a Lora Bailora heart die from my stash. I chose different patterns but coordinating colours with my photos. Then I started to glue down the hearts, I also left glued the inside part of the hearts, so it looks more dinamic. When the hearts were glued down, I added some clear stickers from the Modern Documenter Sunkissed Kit. These stickers are perfect for the Storyline Chapters inserts, as they are flat, have many great designs, so you can give some special effect to your spreads. In the end I added the title, which is also a clear sticker from the Modern Documenter Sunkissed Kit. And added some cut outs from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. With this repetitive technique you can easily create a spread or a layout. Would you try?
Go to the Clique International shop and get some new kits to create with! ;-) Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. So incredible it is already July! For today's post I brought the next spread of my Storyline Chapters insert where I record our Spring break at the Lake Balaton. I use the dotted one for these memories, it is plain and works perfectly for such memories. First I chose 3 photos for this spread. On the left side I only wanted to use one, on the right the two selfies. For the left side I cut out two cards from the Fun in the Sun paper of the Sunkissed collection of Cocoa Vanilla Studio. You can find all those pretty papers and embellishments in the Sunkissed Sampler Kit and Sunkissed Modern Documenter Kit. I arranged the cards and the photo, and addes my journalling in one of the rectangles. I added some clear stickers from the Sunkissed Modern Documenter Kit, some phrase stickers from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I also stamped a rainbow with the Storyline Chapters stamp set which you can find in the Storyline Chapters Grey Starter Kit. On the right side I had a horisontal photo, by wich I repeated the arrangement from the left side. I cut out a 3x3 card from the 6x8 Sunkissed paper pad, and added some clear stickers from the Sunkissed Modern Documenter Kit, a die cut and a phrase sticker from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I added the rainbow stripe from the Fun in the Sun paper under the photo. On the bottom I added my last photo and stamped my title with the same colours, the rainbow paper stripe has. It was easy to copy with the awesome catherine Pooler inks! I used the colours Cummerbund, Catching Rays, Pucker Up and Rouge. I also added some clear stickers from the Sunkissed Modern Dosumenter Kit. I hope I could inspire you to use these Storyline Chapters inserts for documenting your story.
Go to the shop and buy some Catherine Pooler ink pads too ;-) Happy crafting! Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. I am pretty behind in my family album, but I don't give up! It's so good to see what happened to us in a booklet! I use a Storyline Chapters insert by Heidi Swapp for documenting our everyday life. The dotted insert in the Explore & Learn Kit - Storyline Chapters Starter Kit is plain, but I make lines to it with a ruler to get the design as the calendar inserts. January-March is documented that way but I wanted to document our trip in the Spring break in a usual TN format because I had way too many photos! ;-) I love that this insert gives me the opportunity to do so. For this spread I used the Sunkissed by Cocoa Vanilla Studio Sampler Kit. First I cut the rainbow paper stipe from the Fun in the Sun patterned paper, which I cut in half and glued on the upper side. I cut the title from the Good Vibrations Paper, which I slightly rotated to get the same look as the stripes in the paper stipe were diagonal. I used the Lora Bailora Abril Alphabeth die set to cut the letters. I cut the Trangles Stacked cut file of CUT to YOU from AC precision white cardstock and backed the with the ombre papers from the Sunkissed collection which you can find in the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I placed my photos and started to embellish the pages. I used some die cuts and phrase stickers from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit, and some clear stickers from the Modern Documenter Sunkissed by Cocoa Vanilla Studio kit. Finally I added my journaling. I really love how it looks, this collection is so good for documenting fun days.
Go and grab it from the Clique International shop while supplies last! ;-) Hello crafty friends! Rita here with a new layout in my Storyline Chapters Notebook. It was definitely not intentional, but after last month's blog post I again have a layout documenting flowers to share with you today! Maybe it's the season - but I'm little obsessed with flowers at the moment. For this layout I used the "Trail Guide" paper from the Heidi Swapp "Carefree" collection as my background paper and added some patterns with the Flora and Fauna Texture stamp set and different Distress Oxide colors. I also used the Heidi Swapp Stamp Set from the Storyline Chapters Album Bundle which you can find here and here. I used the "Tag" stamp to fill a whole 6x8'' paper and used acrylic paint on top. Afterwards I cut them apart and arranged them on the patterned paper. I love how the pink pops and compliments the color of the roses. To add some more highlights I used the new stamp set by Amy Tangerine from the Sao Paolo Kit. It's still one of my favorite stamps right now! Let's take a look at the full layout. I hope you feel inspired to use your stamps and paints to create a fun and playful layout. I had a blast making it. Thanks for stopping by today and see you soon!
Hello crafty friends! Rita here today with a new project using the Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters Planner which is available in the Clique International Shop. It's so much fun to work with and one of my current favorites for sure. The size is perfect - not too small and not too big. And the binders are so awesome and modern! For March I started a new notebook, the Planner! There are weekly spreads on each page, but I wanted to document a single day, because I made so many photos, so here's what I did: You just need some patterned paper, some embellishment (not too thick!) or die cuts, some stamps, your photos of course and you're good to go! The paper I used is from the Paper Inky "Metropolis" Paper Pad. I cut the florals from the Altenew "Enjoy the Ride" Sampler Kit papers. I really love this Kit, because it's so unique and fun and so perfect for spring (and fussycutting! Yay!). If you follow me on Instagram or are a member of our FB group "The Clique", you've probably already seen this spread I made using this Kit: But back to the current project. What I really love about the planner is that it's possible to switch it up and that's exactly what I'm going to do in the next couple of weeks: Weekly spreads, combined with "freestyle" spreads. Also I really like that the paper is perfect for stamping. I used stamps from my stash and added some journaling here and there. The photos were printed on a Canon Selphy (4 on one page!). And here's the whole spread. You probably can't tell that it's a planner notebook at first sight. If you are interested to try out this way of documenting, you definitely should check out the awesome album bundles available in the Clique International shop right now.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hi crafty friends and happy Friday! Rita here today with a new project using the beautiful Sedona Kit which is available in the Clique International Shop right now. The Kit contains e.g. all 6 beautiful 12x12 double sided cardstocks from Prima Marketing's new Golden Desert collection- many with gorgeous copper foil accents. And of course both of the ephemera packs. You really have to check out this beautifully curated Kit! It's so pretty! - My project was inspired by a picture I saw on Pinterest. I not only fell in love with the colors but also with the overall look. I really love vision boards and the "My Peaceful Place" paper from the Golden Desert reminded me also of one, so I kind of went with this idea without overthinking it too much. I especially love the Ephemera packs in the Sedona Kit and when I saw them I instantly wanted to use them together. I chose similar colored pieces and arranged them on my pages. I was surprised how quick and easy it all came together. I just went with the flow and made sure to like the end result. I also included a quote I found on Pinterest I liked and some stamping and journaling. Here's the left page. I used the Storyline Chapters Notebook by Heidi Swapp which you can find in the Clique International Shop as well. This year I wanted to work mostly in this format and I really love it so far. It has enough space to include papers and embellishments (the size is 8x10" btw), and it's also handy and not too big for me. So I'm really happy with it! :-) Aren't these ephemera pieces just gorgeous? I really love the Boho-vibes. So pretty! And perfect not only for layouts but journals and notebook spreads, as you can see. Here's the right page. I included a piece of patterned paper from the same kit. The pattern reminds me of a morrocan berber rug - also very boho-like! I love it! ![]() I'm really happy how this spread turned out. It's really one of my faves for sure. The colors and die cuts are totally my cup of tea. I hope you feel inspired to make a vision board of your own. It's so much fun and you can include everything you want, because it's always super personal, reflecting your taste and thoughts. You can never go wrong, so give it a try! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Check out the beautiful products I used before they are sold out. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to leave them in the comments below. Hello my crafty friends! Nicole here and today I'm sharing my latest entry in the new Storyline Chapters kit from Clique International and the new gorgeous Catherine Pooler inks! I have dedicated 2021 as the year of "me" and prioritizing myself and today, I'm reflecting on my five best qualities in my latest spread! I'm also taking on the "on repeat" challenge, too! Here's a look at my completed layout: When I started this page, like most projects, I typically start with my product and story first, then fill in the photos as I go. For my "On Repeat" topic today, I loved these beautiful tags and paper clips and I also loved the stamp set that comes in the Storyline kit. I used all of those elements together and repeated them to keep my spread cohesive. Changing up colors while keeping different elements the same adds variety to the simplicity of the layout. If I get in a creative block, I tend to use these tips to get myself back on track. It takes the guesswork out of it! I love the variety that this Heidi Swapp stamp has to offer! The lines on my tags were stamped using the lined stamp from the set, but if turned it upside down and double stamped! Don't be afraid to make your products work for you! Lastly, to keep that cohesiveness, add these repeating elements to your opposite page to pull everything together! Here, I didn't use the rainbow anywhere else on my spread, but the colors and the heart stamps I did! This helps keep the eye moving around the pages. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you've had fun and got inspired! Be sure to join us in our Facebook group where we host monthly challenges and giveaways! New events coming soon and we hope you join in on the fun! See you there! Hello scrappy friends! Nicole here and today I'm sharing a new spread in my Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters insert. For this project, I'm also using our January sketch that is currently live in our Facebook group. This is a month long challenge where you have a chance to win $25 shop credit to Clique International! Be sure to stop by and join in the fun! Now, on to my project! For my double page spread, I used the gorgeous Paige Evans Take Me Away line. When I was figuring out the layout I wanted to use for this, I knew that I first, wanted the spread to be just about me. It's been a crazy year and I wanted to focus on just me and tell my story thru selfies. I also knew that I wanted to focus on my absolute favorite selfie, which I used as my large photo on the left page. I used a stamp from my stash and glitter heart enamel dots from Paige's collection. For the right side of my spread, I focused on eight other selfies that I took of myself throughout the year. Some of them were happy moments, some funny, and others, well, not so pleasant. I documented them all because they tell my story of 2020. They tell the story not only of the struggles, but also the triumphs and accomplishments too. Using different papers and embellishments from Paige's collection along with the super cute Jolee's felt birds, I created two photo strips and embellished around them. I thought that "Take Me Away" was a very appropriate title for 2020 as well. I added in a few other bits of stamping, florals from the same Jolee's sticker set, paper clip and more of the glittery enamel dots to finish the spread. Here are a few other close ups of the completed project: Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to join our Facebook group and participate in our monthly challenges! They are free and you don't have to use specific products to join in the fun! Until next time, have a crafty day! |
