Hello Clique Kit crafty friends!!! I am super excited to be a part of the Clique International Team. I created a scrapbook layout using pattern papers from the awesome Seasonal Kit | Cape May (cliquekits.com) that is currently on sale in the shop. I normally use white cardstock as my base page; but the flower paper "Summer Lovin'" from Simple Stories was too gorgeous not to use. I wanted to add some texture to my page; so I distressed the edges. I used the Heidi Swapp Distresser tool from my stash to achieve it. I love how it makes some of the paper curl and other tear slightly. I wanted the vibrant yellow statements on the paper "Simply Summer" from Fancy Pants to be the focus. I tend to always add staples somewhere on my layouts too. I added American Craft Thickers for my title from Sampler Kit | Heidi Swapp's Sunchaser (cliquekits.com) and used a star over the "i". Instead of just matting the photo, I made a pendant to place the photo of my husband and I. I distressed the edges as well. All of the ephemera used was given dimension by adding one or two foam dots to them. The flower ephemera is from Jen Hadfield "Grateful Heart". You can find the flowers in the Add-on Kit | It's Easy being Green (cliquekits.com).
I hope you enjoyed my scrapbook layout!! Head over to the Clique International (cliquekits.com) shop and check out all of the items there.

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing the memorydex tray that I assembled using the Simple Stories The Good Stuff Sampler Kit. The weather is all over the place and I've been struggling to find a paper collection to pair with my mood. I'm definitely over winter, but I'm not quite ready for Spring. The Good Stuff collection was just what I needed to get my mojo running. Each page in this kit represents one calendar month, so a year-in-review type project was super easy to assemble. I cut each calendar card down to fit onto a memorydex card. Then, I embellished each monthly calendar with die-cuts and stickers from the kit. I chose a couple of highlights from January through March and created photo and journaling cards for those events. The seasonal and holiday icons are modern and fun and general enough to fit a variety of topics without pre-planning anything. I love this view from the top of the tray! Most of the work for this project is complete, so I just need to add photos and journaling to the monthly sections for the rest of the year. I can definitely keep up with this fun project.
Clique International Supplies: Simple Stories The Good Stuff Sampler Kit Other Supplies: Memorydex Tray and Cards: Heidi Swapp Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a winter scrapbook layout. The weather in my area is hovering around freezing temperatures. We have had a lot of rain, that then freezes, covering everything in a layer of ice. I'm thankful that my basset hound gets me out in the mornings on a daily walk. I was able to enjoy the peaceful serenity of a quiet morning and the ice-covered trees that looked like glass. I snapped a couple of pictures of frozen pine needles and used a mix of frosty winter kits from the shop to document the beauty. I cut apart a Pretty Little Studio die-cut wreath from the sold out Frosty Seasonal Kit to place around my photos. The adorable woodland creatures add the perfect amount of whimsy to the page. I pulled some green and blue patterned papers and die-cuts from the Simple Stories Feelin' Frosty Sampler Kit to use as the base and secondary layers of this layout. The Simple Stories Winter Add-On Kit #1 is packed with die-cuts and stickers that I tucked under and around the wreath. Whatever the weather is in your area, I hope you take some time to enjoy it!
Clique International Supplies: Pretty Little Studio Frosty Seasonal Kit (Sold Out) Simple Stories Feelin' Frosty Sampler Kit Simple Stories A Winter Add-On Kit #1 Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a winter themed scrapbook layout. I used the Simple Stories Feelin' Frosty Sampler Kit to take the opportunity to document this photo of my nephews snowboarding. They definitely love being on the snowy mountains of Colorado. I stuck with a green, blue, and white color palette. The selection of die-cuts in the kit is absolutely fantastic and I was able to create some layers under and on top of my photo quickly. The frosty tree die-cuts were the perfect way to embellish the edge of my photo which sported a landscape of snow-covered pines. I used this super cute moose die-cut as a simple title spot. The package of enamel dots was a great way to add a bit of dimension to the area. The small pink dot highlights a pink cheek perfectly. As soon as I saw the package of Avalanche Sparkletz from Buttons Galore in the kit I knew I wanted to add a shaker embellishment to the page. This chipboard snowflake shaker is from my stash, but a similar shaker can be created with a digital cut file, some acetate, and adhesive foam. I used two shades of acrylic paint and some Snow-Tex medium to color this interactive element. The iridescent gems and sequins are to perfect amount of sparkle for this masculine layout. I embellished the top edge of the page with more die-cuts for a pop of color. There are so many to choose from!

Nicole recently shared a pocket page layout for our October challenge and mentioned that she made it to go along with this 12x12 layout. As soon as I saw this layout, I sketched it immediately! I love the larger photo, block style papers, and how she incorporated in the scallop and circle. For my layout, I am using the new Seasonal Series | Fall Stories | Simple Stories kit. This kit is still available in the Clique shop HERE. I used loads of dimensional stickers, chipboard stickers, adhesive brads, puffy stickers, ephemera and so much more! |
Thank you guys so much for stopping by today! I hope you have been inspired!
Be sure to head on over to The Clique on Facebook, join our group, and play along in our monthly mood board challenges! We give away a $25 store credit if your layout is chosen and featured!
