Hi friends, Theresa here with a summer-beach layout for you! I was inspired by this gorgeous Vicki Boutin patterned paper included in the Cape May Kit along with these delicious enamel dots from Fancy Pants. My main idea was to create a sunburst using those colorful dots, and this is how the layout progressed from there. You can follow along with my process right here! Products used in this layout include Patterned Papers, Enamel Dots, Chipboard Circle, and Puffy Stickers from the Cape May Kit: Clique Kits Seasonal Cape May Kit Products from my stash: Elle's Studio Celebrate Summer stamp set (no longer available) Bazzill Card Stock in Rain (also no longer available)

Hi, my Clique Kit friends! It is Ali here with you today sharing a very feminine layout using the Base Kit| Asheville. It is full of flowery goodness, and I thought it would be perfect to document me and my friend Lisa in our flowery dresses having a picnic. I fell in love with all the papers in this kit. So of course, I decided to use a lot of them on my layout. I cut 3 papers into wallet size cards and placed them on my page with two photos from our picnic. I border punched the bottom center one with a notebook design. I then used three strips of paper to create another wallet size card for the upper left-hand corner. A scalloped border punch was used on a piece of the floral mustard paper and love how it adds so much to the page design. I used a few dies cuts that were included in this kit to decorate my page. The word Today was used for my title, and I tucked in some flowers die cuts around it. My favorite of this kit is that bicycle, oh my! It is so adorable. This kit also includes pink and white flower sequins. I layered three of them and added them around the die cuts. I used a corner rounder for some of the wallet sized papers and added a tab underneath the upper right hand one. I pop dotted the butterfly and folded his wings up, so it looks like he is in midflight. I also pop dotted our two photos to give the layout some dimension.
Go check this beautiful kit out today in the shop! It is so lovely and perfect for so many different occasions. Base kit | Asheville (cliquekits.com) Thanks for taking a peek with me. Hope you have a wonderful week! Love, Ali xoxo Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. For our 10th anniversary we went on a holiday to the Danube bend. This is a curve of the river Danube in North-Hungary, on the left side of the river there are the Transdanubian mountains, and on the right the North Hungarian mountains. The river and the mountains are a popular travel destination, the view is beautiful, especially from the Visegrad Castle Hill, where our picture was taken. For my layout I first chose a cut file of CUT to YOU. The whole holiday to Visegrad was so amazing, I enjoyed our stay in the hotel, and the view from our room to the Danube bend very much. So I thought, the All The Goodness of Today cut file of CUT to YOU is a perfect title cut file for my Let's Go! layout. I used the Sunkissed Sampler Kit of Cocoa Vanilla Studio for my layout. First I backed the cut file with the Summer Lights, Good Vibrations and Bright Side patterned papers. Then I coloured the word goodness in the cut file with Catherine Pooler ink pads, I used the colours Limoncello, Sauna und Catching Rays. Then I cut down a 1" stripe from a white cardstock, and glued a 1" patterned paper stripe on both sides from the Good Vibrations paper. I really love the bright colours of the Sunkissed Sampler Kit! I glued down the cut file and my photo and started to embellish the layout. Therefor I fussy cut some flowers from the Growing Wild patterned paper of the Sunkissed Sampler Kit of Cocoa Vanilla Studio. They are beautiful, and make every layout easy to decorate with! I added my journalling, and was ready. This post was my last for Clique International, so I'd like to thank all of you for all your likes, comments and kind words. I hope you liked my inspirations here and do follow me on socials, if you'd like to, it would make me happy. :-)
I also want to thank to the Design Team for their love and kindness, for the always inspiring ideas. I am so grateful for the new friendships I made through this team. I hope we are going to stay in touch!<3 And for last but not least, I would like to say a big thank you to Gia Lau, who invited me to this Design Team 1.5 years ago, which is still a little wonder to me. I am so grateful that you've believed in me, and gave me the chance to get known internationally. I'll never forget my months here, your generous gifts and love. Thank you. <3 Happy Fall Y'all! I am so excited that Fall has arrived and my favorite holiday is on its way. I already started decorating the house for Halloween and had to share my latest decoration with you. I fell in love with this cute spooky ghost and had to have him. I created this layout with the Spooky Night by Simple Stories Sampler Kit that is in the shop. I love this collection! I thought the polka dot paper was a perfect match with his cute hat. I added a few sequins that were included in this kit on some of the polka dots. The sequins added some bling bling sparkle to it! I added a few cute dies cuts to the bottom of the page. I added some foam tape to add some dimension to the back of the haunted house, ghost and his pumpkin treat bag. I added the wonderful Booo foam sticker to the page for the title. There is a spider in the last O and I decided to stitch the web from the top of the page to connect it to the word title. I love how it turned out!
I hope you enjoy my spooky Halloween layout and go check out the cute new kits in the shop! There are so many good ones! Happy Halloween! Love, Ali xoxo Hi Clique friends! So great to see you here again on the Clique blog. Today I would like to show you this 8.5 x 11" layout I made with the fabulous Marrakesh kit. This kit.... it's so so beautiful! It contains lots of the Wonders collection by Paige Evans and I simply love the colors and embellishments!! I usually don't use purples or bright red/pink colors, but... since this photo had a purple background, I decided to challenge myself! (which is quite fun, you should try it sometime ;) ) So I picked all the matching flowers and butterflies to start building the page. I've roughened up the edges of the flowers and other embellishments. I love that distressed look it gives. Most of the time I find the straight from the package embellishments too "clean" if you know what I mean... I took some sewing thread to make some clusters behind the embellishments and splattered with my distress oxides. I cannot craft without my oxides! They always give that little bit of extra to your projects.
I hope I was able to inspire you! I would love to see your work in our Facebook group! Thanks for stopping by and see you soon! Love Petra Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest layout for Clique International. My task for this blog post was to make something for the theme: Don't Throw Me Away. Recycling is very popular nowadays, and I love that you can even do it in scrapbooking. Let me show you my scrapbook layout using pieces of a packaging material. First I cut the Craft A Happy Life cut file of CUT to YOU from white precision cardstock. For my layout I chose the Me Time Base Kit, which features some single sided cardstocks from Alexandra Renke, double sided patterned papers from Altenew, die cuts from both, stickers of Heidi Swapp and shaker embellishments of Jen Hadfield. First I backed the cut files with the patterned papers of Altenew (Wildflower: Pathway, Blooming Vines) from the Me Time Base Kit. I also used the packaging material for the backing, I just love this embossed craft cardstock, I got in a box to save my ordered products, it looks awesome, and is great for these cut files, isn't it? When I was ready with backing the cut files, I started to fussy cut some paint tubes from the Alexandra Renke design paper from the Me Time Base Kit. My photo was taken 4 years ago, when my daughter sat next my mother and they started to paint. They are both so creative, and my daughter was totally taken up by painting. Loved watching them in that flow feeling :-) Then I started to arrange my layout. As the two cut files are quite big, they directed the arrangement. I put the title in the upper left corner, and the paint brush cup in the bottom right corner. The photo came between them diagonally, I also added some packaging material under the photo to add some dimension to it. As the packaging material is quite high, I used foam adhesive for glueing down the cut files. Then I started to glue down the fussy cut paint tubes from the Alexandra Renke design paper from the Me Time Base Kit. I highlighted some of them by using foam adhesive. I hope I could inspire you to not to throw away the packaging materials from your boxes but recycle them in you scrapbook projects, Reducing waste is a must, so why not be creative with it? ;-)
Now head on to the Clique International shop and grab your Me Time Base Kit while supplies last! ;-) Happy crafting! Happy Summer Clique Peeps! it is Ali here with you today sharing a fun layout for the Clique Con Challenge. Have you created yours yet? There are so many free wonderful cut files in the shop for you to create with. I was so excited to use the Miss Incredible one that Petra created. I happened to run into Miss Incredible by the Incredibles roller coaster at Disneyland and was happy to pose with her. I used the Fancy Pants, Sidekick Optional collection from the shop to create this layout. I started off by cutting the buildings out of the second sheet and stacked two layers of foam tape to one layer. I offset it a little to give it even more dimension and love how 3D the layout looks with the stacked buildings. Petra created this amazing cut file and I had so much fun working with it. I cut out the title using the black and white graph paper included the collection and decided not to back fill it with paper. I pop dotted the title and used Stickles to fill in some of the polka dots on the background paper. I love how it turned out. I used a few die cuts that were included in this kit from the shop and decorated around the picture. I cut a bulls eye out of another sheet in the collection and added it to a corner and love how it draws the eye up to that corner. I finished off the layout with a few enamel dots. Don't forget to head to the Clique Shop and enjoy those free cut files to join the Clique Con Challenge this month. Happy Summer!
Love, Ali xoxo Hello my crafty peeps! It is Ali here with you today sharing a layout I created with the wonderful Sampler Kit | Vicki Boutin Color Study | American Crafts and the Add-on Kit | Vicki Boutin Color Study Paper Pack | American Crafts . Can we talk about the vibrant and bold colors in these kits! I am in love and I have to say this is my favorite Vicki Boutin line, hands down! This fun picture was taken of Vicki and me at a Crop and Create event in Canada. We had so much fun with the photo props and this one just makes me smile every time I see this picture of us. I had a hard time choosing what paper to use for my layout, so I decided to use every paper in her collection and fill this fun flower cut file. I love how it displays all the papers in her collection. I used her foam title stickers for the title of my layout and embellished with cute little foam dot and heart stickers to frame the flower. I always use foam tape to pop my cut files and give it more dimension. I also popped our picture, so it stood out on the bright and bold background. If you have not already, go check out the Clique Shop for all these fun Spring kits! So many fun ones to create with!
I hope you enjoy this layout as much as I do. Cheers to another happy craft weekend! Love, Ali xoxo Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. My task was to scroll on Pinterest and find something inspiring. I've been looking for all kinds of stuff and finally found a beautiful floral garland, which I immediately found great for re-making on paper. I started with fussy cutting - have I told you lately that I love fussy cutting? It is so relaxing if you have good scissors! You can do it while watching your favourite show, or listening to a podcast. I often do it when I don't have moyo to scrap, but still want to make something at my table. Have you seen the amazing paper pads for fussy cutting by Mintay Papers in the shop? There are different themed books, they are all 6X8" and full of elements to fussy cut. I chose the Flora Book 2, which was perfect for my floral garland. Here is my layout: In this booklet you can find 2 different coloured floral elements (2-2 pages of pastell and bright coloured flowers) and 2 pages of leaves. Each design has 4 pieces, so you have plenty to work with ;-) The pages are double sided, on the back they have some beautiful colours, which you can use as a scrapbook paper. For my garland I used a twine as a base, I arranged two pieces of them as on the photo from Pinterest, and started to add my fussy-cut floral elements. I glued them with foam tape to add some dimension. I also added leaves to each bouquet. Arranging the flowers was harder than I first thought :-P but it turned out beautifully. I decided not to mat my photo this time, to keep this layout clean and white. Finally I added a chipboard foam title from the Late Afternoon collection of Amy Tangerine, which you could find in the September Song Kit, which is already sold out. I hope I could inspire you to make a layout with only fussy-cut elements! Show us if you did ;-)
Happy crafting! Hello my Creative Friends! It is Ali here with you today sharing my layout I created using the new Cupid's Arrow kit by Studio Light. If you haven't checked this kit out, make sure you do before it sells out. It comes with so many lovely goodies that you can use not only for Valentine's Day, but anniversaries too! Love and Cupid's arrows are in the air! http://cliquekits.com/seasonal-series-cupids-arrow-studio-light/ I used the Happy Mail cut file from Cut to You and backed up all the envelopes with the different patterned papers included in the Cupid's Arrow seasonal kit. It includes 3 sheets of glitter paper and I used that to back the hearts and to give the envelopes a pop of color. I embellished the envelopes with some Heidi Swapp stickers and used one of them for my title, I love Us. This picture is of my Husband holding his first wedding anniversary gift. We decided to write our own vows for our wedding day to make it more personal. I hired a calligrapher to write our vows out on beautiful paper and had them framed. The traditional gift for the first year is paper and I thought this was perfect gift to tie it in with our wedding vows. We have them hung in our bedroom. The kit also included a couple doilies and a cute typewriter Doodle Pop from Doodlebug Designs. Such a perfect embellishment to compliment this photo. I can't wait to create more layouts with this fabulous seasonal kit. I want to wish every one a Happy Valentine's Day! May Cupid's arrow hit its mark! Love, Ali ![]() |
