Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. For our 10th anniversary we went on a holiday to the Danube bend. This is a curve of the river Danube in North-Hungary, on the left side of the river there are the Transdanubian mountains, and on the right the North Hungarian mountains. The river and the mountains are a popular travel destination, the view is beautiful, especially from the Visegrad Castle Hill, where our picture was taken. For my layout I first chose a cut file of CUT to YOU. The whole holiday to Visegrad was so amazing, I enjoyed our stay in the hotel, and the view from our room to the Danube bend very much. So I thought, the All The Goodness of Today cut file of CUT to YOU is a perfect title cut file for my Let's Go! layout. I used the Sunkissed Sampler Kit of Cocoa Vanilla Studio for my layout. First I backed the cut file with the Summer Lights, Good Vibrations and Bright Side patterned papers. Then I coloured the word goodness in the cut file with Catherine Pooler ink pads, I used the colours Limoncello, Sauna und Catching Rays. Then I cut down a 1" stripe from a white cardstock, and glued a 1" patterned paper stripe on both sides from the Good Vibrations paper. I really love the bright colours of the Sunkissed Sampler Kit! I glued down the cut file and my photo and started to embellish the layout. Therefor I fussy cut some flowers from the Growing Wild patterned paper of the Sunkissed Sampler Kit of Cocoa Vanilla Studio. They are beautiful, and make every layout easy to decorate with! I added my journalling, and was ready. This post was my last for Clique International, so I'd like to thank all of you for all your likes, comments and kind words. I hope you liked my inspirations here and do follow me on socials, if you'd like to, it would make me happy. :-)
I also want to thank to the Design Team for their love and kindness, for the always inspiring ideas. I am so grateful for the new friendships I made through this team. I hope we are going to stay in touch!<3 And for last but not least, I would like to say a big thank you to Gia Lau, who invited me to this Design Team 1.5 years ago, which is still a little wonder to me. I am so grateful that you've believed in me, and gave me the chance to get known internationally. I'll never forget my months here, your generous gifts and love. Thank you. <3

Happy Fall Y'all! I am so excited that Fall has arrived and my favorite holiday is on its way. I already started decorating the house for Halloween and had to share my latest decoration with you. I fell in love with this cute spooky ghost and had to have him. I created this layout with the Spooky Night by Simple Stories Sampler Kit that is in the shop. I love this collection! I thought the polka dot paper was a perfect match with his cute hat. I added a few sequins that were included in this kit on some of the polka dots. The sequins added some bling bling sparkle to it! I added a few cute dies cuts to the bottom of the page. I added some foam tape to add some dimension to the back of the haunted house, ghost and his pumpkin treat bag. I added the wonderful Booo foam sticker to the page for the title. There is a spider in the last O and I decided to stitch the web from the top of the page to connect it to the word title. I love how it turned out!
I hope you enjoy my spooky Halloween layout and go check out the cute new kits in the shop! There are so many good ones! Happy Halloween! Love, Ali xoxo Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. For this share I got the challenge "On Repeat", so I had to use a pattern, a colour, a texture or a shape repetitivly. I chose three photos and my Storyline Chapters insert to make a spread for this challenge. I chose the Sunkissed Sampler Kit of Cocoa Vanilla Studio for this spread. I had two vertical and one horisontal photo, so first I arranged the photos. Then I chose some patterned papers, and cut some hearts with a Lora Bailora heart die from my stash. I chose different patterns but coordinating colours with my photos. Then I started to glue down the hearts, I also left glued the inside part of the hearts, so it looks more dinamic. When the hearts were glued down, I added some clear stickers from the Modern Documenter Sunkissed Kit. These stickers are perfect for the Storyline Chapters inserts, as they are flat, have many great designs, so you can give some special effect to your spreads. In the end I added the title, which is also a clear sticker from the Modern Documenter Sunkissed Kit. And added some cut outs from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. With this repetitive technique you can easily create a spread or a layout. Would you try?
Go to the Clique International shop and get some new kits to create with! ;-) Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. I am pretty behind in my family album, but I don't give up! It's so good to see what happened to us in a booklet! I use a Storyline Chapters insert by Heidi Swapp for documenting our everyday life. The dotted insert in the Explore & Learn Kit - Storyline Chapters Starter Kit is plain, but I make lines to it with a ruler to get the design as the calendar inserts. January-March is documented that way but I wanted to document our trip in the Spring break in a usual TN format because I had way too many photos! ;-) I love that this insert gives me the opportunity to do so. For this spread I used the Sunkissed by Cocoa Vanilla Studio Sampler Kit. First I cut the rainbow paper stipe from the Fun in the Sun patterned paper, which I cut in half and glued on the upper side. I cut the title from the Good Vibrations Paper, which I slightly rotated to get the same look as the stripes in the paper stipe were diagonal. I used the Lora Bailora Abril Alphabeth die set to cut the letters. I cut the Trangles Stacked cut file of CUT to YOU from AC precision white cardstock and backed the with the ombre papers from the Sunkissed collection which you can find in the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I placed my photos and started to embellish the pages. I used some die cuts and phrase stickers from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit, and some clear stickers from the Modern Documenter Sunkissed by Cocoa Vanilla Studio kit. Finally I added my journaling. I really love how it looks, this collection is so good for documenting fun days.
Go and grab it from the Clique International shop while supplies last! ;-) Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest layout for Clique International. For my Inspired By... layout I chose a prompt from the May challenges: Kintsugi. It's a Japanese word, it means Repaired with gold, shining in my broken places. I have tough days in the last couple of weeks, I am overwhelmed, feeling my brokenness a lot. I just hope that after this periode I am going to realise that my wounds were repaired with something special like gold, as I experienced it in the past. For my layout I chose a photo of my birthday party and the Dawn Blooms Base Kit. This kit has several beautiful patterned papers and die cuts from the watercolour collection of Prima Marketing. First I cut out a base of the In the Water Garden patterned paper - it has such beautiful gold accents! I got out a white cardstock, drew with a pencil the outline of the patterned paper, and started to make a watercoloured background using two Catherine Pooler ink pads. I used the colours Serenade and Sweet Sixteen. The Dawn Blooms Base Kit includes a beautiful gold mirror cardstock, I cut some branches with some older Tim Holtz dies from it. I fussy cut a floral element from the leftover of the In The Water Garden patterned paper, and added the gold branches and some flower die cuts under the patterned paper. The die cuts are from the Ephemera 2 Floral Watercolor and Ephemera 3 Floral Watercolor die cut packs. I also added some die cut around my photo from the Ephemera 1 Floral Watercolor pack, which you can find in the Dawn Blooms Base Kit. I found the very same floral elements among the die cuts, so I decided to glue them with foam adhesive to the patterned paper in order to give the layout more dimension. Finally I added my journalling on a self-made tag, and added some floral die cuts to it from the Ephemera 2 Floral Watercolor and Ephemera 3 Floral Watercolor die cut packs. I added some sequins from the Loveland Sequin and Shaker Mix pack, two gold glitter resin heart stickers from the Garden Party collection of Maggie Holmes, which you can find in the Dawn Blooms Base Kit.
I hope I could inspire you to get creative with the beautiful Dawn Blooms Base Kit! Get it from the Clique International shop, and show us what you've created in our Facebook group! Happy crafting! "Hello Clique Friends! It's Isa today on the blog and I want to present you a new layout that I have made experimenting with tons of things that I had at home and wonderful products from the Clique Kits shop. First of all, for this layout I used as a base 12x12 precision white paper that you can find on the shop here. And then I played with the collection of my friend Mima Molina "Love on Top". What I have done first for this layout is to create the background. I love splatters so I have in my scraproom prepared several pots of acrylic paint (mostly black) mixed with water so I can start playing with the background of my layouts. As the base paper that I used is very thick I did not add any gesso before putting the paint in the first place. Once I have the black base of paint, what I do then is to add some drops of paint of different colors that are included in the colors of the papers of the collection I am going to use. I always try to combine these elements so everything is in good tune. Once prepared the first splatters, I decided to play also with other elements. I used a stencil that you can find in the "Find me" kit here with some modelling paste to give more volumen to the elements of the background. I also added the stamp that is included int his kit to add diferent elemetns. I stamped the rainbow in black and grey with eome amazing inks you can find on the shop too. As you can see here, creating a background has different phases, but it is so fun to dirty your hands and play with different elements! I really recommend you to do it without thinking and enjoying the process. The result will be amazing for sure!! Once everything is dry I added more pink to the background as I consider that it is a bit dark and the papers are quite colorful to have such a blackish background. The procedure I have followed is the same as with the black acrylic paint. I have mixed it with water and then I have splattered without thinking on the paper. And I have enjoyed it so much! Then to add more details to the background I have taken a black pen and I have added some details in one corner of the layout and some dots where I included all the paint in the first place. Meanwhile this is getting dry I have prepared a cluster of layers with cloth, papers, tags and my sewing machine! I added also some butterfiles that are in the papers, flowers, black thread (as it appears also on the papers) and buttons. I hope you like it! As a title I have used some thickers that I had from past kits, you can take profit of everything! And I have included some words that are included in the papers of collection Love on Top. Here you can see the complete layout. I hope you like it! The picture was taken after I made a photoshoot to change my images in social networks, it was such a beautiful day that I wanted to take thousands of pics! I hope you like it! I hope to be back soon with new inspirations with all the new things coming to the scrapbook universe! Take care!
Lots of love, Isa Hello my crafty peeps! It is Ali here with you today sharing a layout I created with the wonderful Sampler Kit | Vicki Boutin Color Study | American Crafts and the Add-on Kit | Vicki Boutin Color Study Paper Pack | American Crafts . Can we talk about the vibrant and bold colors in these kits! I am in love and I have to say this is my favorite Vicki Boutin line, hands down! This fun picture was taken of Vicki and me at a Crop and Create event in Canada. We had so much fun with the photo props and this one just makes me smile every time I see this picture of us. I had a hard time choosing what paper to use for my layout, so I decided to use every paper in her collection and fill this fun flower cut file. I love how it displays all the papers in her collection. I used her foam title stickers for the title of my layout and embellished with cute little foam dot and heart stickers to frame the flower. I always use foam tape to pop my cut files and give it more dimension. I also popped our picture, so it stood out on the bright and bold background. If you have not already, go check out the Clique Shop for all these fun Spring kits! So many fun ones to create with!
I hope you enjoy this layout as much as I do. Cheers to another happy craft weekend! Love, Ali xoxo Hello eveyrone!! It's Isa today on the blog and I am here today with a new post inside the category Inspired by. This time I got inspired by a song I was listening while looking for ideas for this post! I got inspired by the song Fight Song by Rachel Platten. The last months of my life haven't been exactly easy so this song has helped me to go through hard times. You can check the song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo1VInw-SKc I decided to make a layout using the lyrics of this song as journaling. For this layout I have used the Keeping it real Kit featuring products from Pink Fresh Studio. You can find and purchase this kit here: https://cliquekits.com/sampler-kit-keeping-it-real-pinkfresh-studio/. I have used one of the patterned papers as the base for my layout. Then, using the new watercolor set from Amy Tangerine I made a background using colors resembling the ones in the die cuts of the kit that I have used. You can find the watercolor set here: https://cliquekits.com/watercolor-set-amy-tangerine-brave-bold-american-crafts/ Then, to emphasize the picture, I added tons of die cuts of flowers that are included in the kit and as also flowers appear in my layout they combine perfectly well. I used some pieces of paper from the kit for the layers behind the picture and added some chipboards and die cuts to add different elements. I wanted to put elements around the picture to make sure that my picture was the centre of attention. Then, to finish the layout I added some enamel dots which are always a good resource to finish layouts. And finally, to finish the layout, as a title I have included the words, perfectly imperfect that appear in the thickers set from the kit. The picture was taken after a photoshoot I made some weeks ago to change my profile pics in social networks and I just love it! I hope you like the project as much as I do!! And I hope to see most of you in my coptic stitching class here in Clique Kits!! I am so excited!! I will be back real soon with new projects to show! Take care,
Isa Hello everyone!! It's Isa today on the blog and I am glad to be back here with a new project! For today's post I have created a mini album using the Buenos Dias Kit, which includes teh collection designed by Obed Marshall for American Crafts. You can find and purchase this kit here. For the cover I used some cardboard that I covered with patterned papers from the Buenos Dias collection. I fell instantly in love with the flowers from the die cuts set so it was a must for me to use them in the cover. The size of this mini album is similar to a traveller's notebook insert. I added two mint rings that come in the kit that belong to the collection. The combination of colors in them is amazing. On the inside pages I decided to use different designs in eash one. I have used the thickers to add some words, and also the sequins that are in the kit to add some shaker pages on the inside of the mini album. I have used even the cardstock that is part of the packaging of the die cuts because the gradient of colors is amazing. I also added a pocket, and some waterfall structure to add different designs on the inside. I added some cards that were included in the die cuts set and some acrylic decorations, puffy stickers that are included in the kit and everything combines perfectly well. I also added some sewing by making stripes of paper with one of the papers from the kit. I would say that this is my favourite page of the project because I love sewing in most of my scrapbooking projects. I have tried to add a bit of everything combined with the essence of this wonderful collection. I hope you like this project and I am thrilled that very soon I will be here with new inspirations and great projects with Clique Kits!! See you soon and take care!
Love, Isa Hello Paperlovers! Welcom to Cliquekits blog today! So happy to see you! For this layout I used the Urban Base kit full of Heidi Swapp products! I love the beautiful elements in this kit like the holographic silver alphas. I started the mixed media background with distress oxide used the color "Hickory Smoke" I applied the ink with a clear shape background stamp and made some splatters with my brush. I'll show you in this blog how I made the paper flower. See above. I punched out some petals from cotton paper. I colored the edges with distress oxide the color I used is "worn lipstick"Only the center of the flower I color completely. I spray the branches with a lime green ink spray. I give the edges an extra color with distress oxide " Forest moss". I gently curl up the edges of te flower petals to give more dimension to the flower. Once I have all the flower petals curled I use tacky glue to glue them together. I take some pink acrylic ink and make splatters on the flower for on the green leaves I use green acrylic ink. I'ts time to decorate my scrapbook page. I place the flower between the die-cuts below the photo. I cut out a heart from cardboard to make a look-through. I punched out leaves, hearts and twigs that I use as additional decorations on my page. I picked out some Heidi Swapp die-cuts and gave them a spot as well. I punched out small circles and colored the edges with distress oxide and placed them on my page with 3D tape. I used the holographic alphabet as part of the title. I tried to make a soft and romantic page with the beautiful Urban base kit from Cliquekits.
I hope you got some great ideas and see you next time on Cliquekkits blog! Have a lovely day! XoXo, Jo |
