Hi Dear! Here is Réka with my last blog post. Last year was very exciting and I am entirely grateful for the opportunity to be a member of this amazing team for a year. This adventure has been really fantastic. Thank you so much for all your support and love. I have got lots of new crafty friends which means the world to me. My heart is full of love. For the last blog post I have brought my favorite project which is a card. I love making card. Why? Because we can cause a great joy to others. For the card I have used flower and frame embellishments from the Paige Evans – Pick Me Up ephemera pack. I have also created some 3D elements which were butterfly and bow to add dimension for the card. Gold splashes added the finishing touch. I really love how this colorful card turned out. I am happy that you were here and hope we meet again in the near future. Thank you so much for everything. XOXO Réka

Hi Dear! Here is Réka again. Today I would like to share my first layout using the very bright Malama March Main Kit featuring Paige Evans Pick-Me-Up collection from Pink Paislee. I absolutely adore the vibrant colors and the gold foil elements of this collection. This kit also contains 3 beautiful pieces Lace Papers from Do Craft. When I saw them I knew I would like to use them for my next project. And now here we are. The circle one was put to the middle of the page with 3D tape. The square one was cut out as the diagonal line and I also created two triangle pieces. I have added them at the top and the bottom of the page. For this I created a vertical layout for the page. I know that I didn’t want to write long journaling for this photo. So I have decided using the 17 paper from Pick-Me-Up collection. This paper contains lots of positive sentiment which is perfect for this photo. I love how this pink background is speaking instead of me. The Paige Evans – Pick Me Up ephemera pack includes lots of big flower cluster images. So I put one beside the photo and another flower cluster image was cut into 3 pieces and added to the lace papers. For the layout I also used lots of hearts and dots from Fancy Pants - Puffy Stickers sheet. They are just amazing and one of my favorite elements which I often use on my projects. The gorgeous butterflies weren’t missed out and they gave the finishing touch for my layout. I really love how this pink layout turned out.
I am happy that you were here and hope you are inspired to use lace papers to your next creation. See you soon. Réka Hello my Sweets! Here is Réka again. Today I would like to share my super sweet layout with you featuring the cute heart cut file from the Clique Kits Shop. The first step was to resized the heart cut file from the February collection to fit for my layout’s size. After I cut it out from white cardstock. It was painted with my Prima Marketing ‘The classics’ watercolor palette mixed pink, red and white colors. I just love how the new color of the heart looks. From this cute heart I created a big shaker element that I filled some sequences, pearls with and also put some cute butterfly mini chipboards. When it was ready I put the heart to the middle of the page and drew it around with pencil. Then I removed the heart from the layout and added lots of splashes following the line drawn using red, pink and white watercolors. This lovely splashes perfectly represent that happy moment. After I adhered the heart to the layout and I arranged my photo to the center of the hearts and started to layer bits from the Crate Paper – Good Vibes collection ephemera pack. I also painted this fancy pink flower which was placed at the bottom. The last step for my layout was to add the Love you title, which is from the November Main Kit. Shine gold is one of my favorite colors in 2018. I really love how this cute sweet lovely layout turned out. I am happy that you were here and hope you are inspired to use watercolor to your next creation. See you soon. Réka
Hello my Sweets! I hope you are well. Today I am sharing with you my first project using the gorgeous February 2018 Main Kit. This kit contains lots of elements from the awesome Crate Paper: Good Vibes collection. I have got a lot of plans how I could use this fantastic kit. The first project was this cute February Album which is my personal planner and my memory album in one. For the album cover I have chosen the fantastic geometrical February cut file designed by Maryám. The perfect paper was to use the Hashtag paper form Crate Paper: Good Vibes collection. The pink, green and cream combinations are my favorites. The original cut file was resized and the negative pieces were used this time and I adhered them on to the white cardstock. The result is just amazing. I love how this handmade new patterned paper turned out. For the middle part of the cover I have used one pom-pom designed frame and added to the “be happy be bright be you” sentiment from the ephemera pack. The word February and the label 2018 was placed on the cover with some stars from my stash. This pink color adds more contrast to the cover. I love this positive atmosphere. Now let’s see one inner page. This is my February monthly spread. The lines were created with washi tape. I have used my mechanical cutting tools and cut thin stripes. The square size is 1 X 1 inch which it is perfect to take short notes for the important events or deadlines. I made a cluster in the top left and the bottom right corners as well using some images from the ephemera pack. The cute llama couldn’t miss out which was fussy cut from the Perfection paper. The letters are from a precious kit, a black edge was given and rainbow crayons add a matching color to the overall image. I cut off the label days from the ephemera pack and added them to the top of the columns. I love the way black and pink smiles on us from the cover. I hope you are inspired to create some cute album covers. Thanks for joining me today. Hello My Sweets! Here is Réka and today I am sharing my layout with you using the January 2018 Main Kit featuring one of my favorite technique which is fussy cut. The truth is that I totally fell in love with this kit and it is so hard to let it go. I loved working with these goodies very much but the February kit is now on my desk and it looks like very exciting. I can’t wait to use it for my next project. Now let’s see my layout. When I first met fussy cut I didn’t know what it meant. I surfed on the Internet and when I realised what it is, I knew this is my technique. I love using my little scissors and I always look for what I could cut out. I love that Clique Kit always contains minimum one paper which is perfect for it. For today’s layout I have chosen the amazing flower patterned paper from Cocoa Vanilla Studio- Bohemian Dream collection. I cut out some flower images and adhered them with liquid glue to white cardstock in an oval shape. I didn’t glue the fussy cutting images everywhere only their middle part and with this were created a little dimension. Butterflies were added with foam tape to also add dimension for my layout. The result is just amazing. These shiny gold alphabet letters are also my favorite and I have played with them and created a dynamic title ’summer’. Splashes added the finishing touches for my layout. Color of splashes were mixed with my Prima Marketing watercolor palette. The good news you can find ‘The classics’ watercolor palette at Clique Shop here and don’t forget to use my code - Reka10- for a 10 % discount off from your orders. There is a hidden tag on my layout. Where do you thing it is? …. You can find it at the left hand side of the photo and you can pull it out with this cute blue leaf. I love the way this layout represents this lovely summer moment. I hope you are inspired to fussy cutting. Thanks for joining me today. -Réka- I know you are so excited as I am about the February Main Kit which is called Atacama. This kit is amazing and contains lots of gorgeous elements. The good news is my kit is on the way and I hopefully it arrives soon. So today I am sharing with you my January album ’s cover featuring the Cocoa Vanilla Studio-Bohemian Dream collection from January 2018 Main Kit. I have always wanted to try the patchwork technique with paper but I have never done. I would have liked to use the cutter machine more often in 2017, but I didn’t do it. I decided to change in 2018. So for today’s project I created a patchwork background. I used Beautiful Mess paper by Cocoa Vanilla Studio, I cut out some 1x1,5 inch pieces and glued them onto the white cardstock. I also added zigzag machine stitching. The result is just amazing. 2018 year’s color is lilac and this is the reason why I chose this cute lilac bird for the cover decoration. I also used my cutting machine and I edited the word ‘January’ with the Silhouette Cameo program. I cut it out from the same paper which I used for the cover and I also used white cardstock at the back. Some splashes were the finishing touches to complete the cover. For the back side of my January album I used the same patchwork technique. The interesting part of the back cover is the “hey” die cut word from the Vicki Boutin- All the good Things pack. I used Altenew Golden Peach embossing powder from my stash and added a new look for it. I absolutely love the result. I used this word and created a little message for myself around it. I hope you are inspired to create some cute album covers. Thanks for joining me today. Hello! It’s Réka. Today I am sharing with you a very quick spread from my new album.. I don’t know how to describe this album exactly. Maybe ... It is a combination of the planner and the traveler’s notebook. This is the opening page for my January 2018 album and on this page I chose a nice memory from 2017. I used the Cocoa Vanilla: Bohemian Dream - Boho Bits paper and fussy cut out some pieces of it . I totally love this beautiful flower clusters and the butterfly is also my fav. I added some machine stitching and of course I used my watercolor palette to make some splatters. And my spread was done. Thanks for joining me today and hope you like this spread. Hello Clique fans! Here is Réka and today I am sharing my mini album using the sweet November Main Kit. When I saw this gorgeous Kit I decided to create a cute mini album for the November’s days. For the cover I have fussy cut one flower image from the Crate Paper (Maggie Holmes) Carousel – Belle paper and I have colored it with my pencils. I have also added some hearts enamels from the Bella Blvd: Illustrated Faith Enamel pack. For the ‘November’ title I have used the gold alphabets from the American Crafts: Hazelwood - Hazel Thickers. I love these gold alphabets. Some mists were the finishing touches to complete my cover. You can find some Prima Watercolor paint refills in the shop and remember you can use my code Reka10 to get 10% off your total purchase. For the inside pages I have used a lot of embellishments from the Pebbles: Girl Squad – Ephemera pack. I have printed the beautiful November Kit exclusive printable on the vellum paper. Printable designed by Maryam. For the pages I have also added the pink alphabets from the October Traveler's Notebook Kit. I have also used the cute round images from the November Traveler's Notebook Kit exclusive printable which designed by Lacey Gasper. Here are some close-ups. I hope you like my mini album.
