Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. For our 10th anniversary we went on a holiday to the Danube bend. This is a curve of the river Danube in North-Hungary, on the left side of the river there are the Transdanubian mountains, and on the right the North Hungarian mountains. The river and the mountains are a popular travel destination, the view is beautiful, especially from the Visegrad Castle Hill, where our picture was taken. For my layout I first chose a cut file of CUT to YOU. The whole holiday to Visegrad was so amazing, I enjoyed our stay in the hotel, and the view from our room to the Danube bend very much. So I thought, the All The Goodness of Today cut file of CUT to YOU is a perfect title cut file for my Let's Go! layout. I used the Sunkissed Sampler Kit of Cocoa Vanilla Studio for my layout. First I backed the cut file with the Summer Lights, Good Vibrations and Bright Side patterned papers. Then I coloured the word goodness in the cut file with Catherine Pooler ink pads, I used the colours Limoncello, Sauna und Catching Rays. Then I cut down a 1" stripe from a white cardstock, and glued a 1" patterned paper stripe on both sides from the Good Vibrations paper. I really love the bright colours of the Sunkissed Sampler Kit! I glued down the cut file and my photo and started to embellish the layout. Therefor I fussy cut some flowers from the Growing Wild patterned paper of the Sunkissed Sampler Kit of Cocoa Vanilla Studio. They are beautiful, and make every layout easy to decorate with! I added my journalling, and was ready. This post was my last for Clique International, so I'd like to thank all of you for all your likes, comments and kind words. I hope you liked my inspirations here and do follow me on socials, if you'd like to, it would make me happy. :-)
I also want to thank to the Design Team for their love and kindness, for the always inspiring ideas. I am so grateful for the new friendships I made through this team. I hope we are going to stay in touch!<3 And for last but not least, I would like to say a big thank you to Gia Lau, who invited me to this Design Team 1.5 years ago, which is still a little wonder to me. I am so grateful that you've believed in me, and gave me the chance to get known internationally. I'll never forget my months here, your generous gifts and love. Thank you. <3

Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest layout for Clique International. My task for this blog post was to make something for the theme: Don't Throw Me Away. Recycling is very popular nowadays, and I love that you can even do it in scrapbooking. Let me show you my scrapbook layout using pieces of a packaging material. First I cut the Craft A Happy Life cut file of CUT to YOU from white precision cardstock. For my layout I chose the Me Time Base Kit, which features some single sided cardstocks from Alexandra Renke, double sided patterned papers from Altenew, die cuts from both, stickers of Heidi Swapp and shaker embellishments of Jen Hadfield. First I backed the cut files with the patterned papers of Altenew (Wildflower: Pathway, Blooming Vines) from the Me Time Base Kit. I also used the packaging material for the backing, I just love this embossed craft cardstock, I got in a box to save my ordered products, it looks awesome, and is great for these cut files, isn't it? When I was ready with backing the cut files, I started to fussy cut some paint tubes from the Alexandra Renke design paper from the Me Time Base Kit. My photo was taken 4 years ago, when my daughter sat next my mother and they started to paint. They are both so creative, and my daughter was totally taken up by painting. Loved watching them in that flow feeling :-) Then I started to arrange my layout. As the two cut files are quite big, they directed the arrangement. I put the title in the upper left corner, and the paint brush cup in the bottom right corner. The photo came between them diagonally, I also added some packaging material under the photo to add some dimension to it. As the packaging material is quite high, I used foam adhesive for glueing down the cut files. Then I started to glue down the fussy cut paint tubes from the Alexandra Renke design paper from the Me Time Base Kit. I highlighted some of them by using foam adhesive. I hope I could inspire you to not to throw away the packaging materials from your boxes but recycle them in you scrapbook projects, Reducing waste is a must, so why not be creative with it? ;-)
Now head on to the Clique International shop and grab your Me Time Base Kit while supplies last! ;-) Happy crafting! Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. For this share I got the challenge "On Repeat", so I had to use a pattern, a colour, a texture or a shape repetitivly. I chose three photos and my Storyline Chapters insert to make a spread for this challenge. I chose the Sunkissed Sampler Kit of Cocoa Vanilla Studio for this spread. I had two vertical and one horisontal photo, so first I arranged the photos. Then I chose some patterned papers, and cut some hearts with a Lora Bailora heart die from my stash. I chose different patterns but coordinating colours with my photos. Then I started to glue down the hearts, I also left glued the inside part of the hearts, so it looks more dinamic. When the hearts were glued down, I added some clear stickers from the Modern Documenter Sunkissed Kit. These stickers are perfect for the Storyline Chapters inserts, as they are flat, have many great designs, so you can give some special effect to your spreads. In the end I added the title, which is also a clear sticker from the Modern Documenter Sunkissed Kit. And added some cut outs from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. With this repetitive technique you can easily create a spread or a layout. Would you try?
Go to the Clique International shop and get some new kits to create with! ;-) Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. So incredible it is already July! For today's post I brought the next spread of my Storyline Chapters insert where I record our Spring break at the Lake Balaton. I use the dotted one for these memories, it is plain and works perfectly for such memories. First I chose 3 photos for this spread. On the left side I only wanted to use one, on the right the two selfies. For the left side I cut out two cards from the Fun in the Sun paper of the Sunkissed collection of Cocoa Vanilla Studio. You can find all those pretty papers and embellishments in the Sunkissed Sampler Kit and Sunkissed Modern Documenter Kit. I arranged the cards and the photo, and addes my journalling in one of the rectangles. I added some clear stickers from the Sunkissed Modern Documenter Kit, some phrase stickers from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I also stamped a rainbow with the Storyline Chapters stamp set which you can find in the Storyline Chapters Grey Starter Kit. On the right side I had a horisontal photo, by wich I repeated the arrangement from the left side. I cut out a 3x3 card from the 6x8 Sunkissed paper pad, and added some clear stickers from the Sunkissed Modern Documenter Kit, a die cut and a phrase sticker from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I added the rainbow stripe from the Fun in the Sun paper under the photo. On the bottom I added my last photo and stamped my title with the same colours, the rainbow paper stripe has. It was easy to copy with the awesome catherine Pooler inks! I used the colours Cummerbund, Catching Rays, Pucker Up and Rouge. I also added some clear stickers from the Sunkissed Modern Dosumenter Kit. I hope I could inspire you to use these Storyline Chapters inserts for documenting your story.
Go to the shop and buy some Catherine Pooler ink pads too ;-) Happy crafting! Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. I am pretty behind in my family album, but I don't give up! It's so good to see what happened to us in a booklet! I use a Storyline Chapters insert by Heidi Swapp for documenting our everyday life. The dotted insert in the Explore & Learn Kit - Storyline Chapters Starter Kit is plain, but I make lines to it with a ruler to get the design as the calendar inserts. January-March is documented that way but I wanted to document our trip in the Spring break in a usual TN format because I had way too many photos! ;-) I love that this insert gives me the opportunity to do so. For this spread I used the Sunkissed by Cocoa Vanilla Studio Sampler Kit. First I cut the rainbow paper stipe from the Fun in the Sun patterned paper, which I cut in half and glued on the upper side. I cut the title from the Good Vibrations Paper, which I slightly rotated to get the same look as the stripes in the paper stipe were diagonal. I used the Lora Bailora Abril Alphabeth die set to cut the letters. I cut the Trangles Stacked cut file of CUT to YOU from AC precision white cardstock and backed the with the ombre papers from the Sunkissed collection which you can find in the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I placed my photos and started to embellish the pages. I used some die cuts and phrase stickers from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit, and some clear stickers from the Modern Documenter Sunkissed by Cocoa Vanilla Studio kit. Finally I added my journaling. I really love how it looks, this collection is so good for documenting fun days.
Go and grab it from the Clique International shop while supplies last! ;-) Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest layout for Clique International. For my Inspired By... layout I chose a prompt from the May challenges: Kintsugi. It's a Japanese word, it means Repaired with gold, shining in my broken places. I have tough days in the last couple of weeks, I am overwhelmed, feeling my brokenness a lot. I just hope that after this periode I am going to realise that my wounds were repaired with something special like gold, as I experienced it in the past. For my layout I chose a photo of my birthday party and the Dawn Blooms Base Kit. This kit has several beautiful patterned papers and die cuts from the watercolour collection of Prima Marketing. First I cut out a base of the In the Water Garden patterned paper - it has such beautiful gold accents! I got out a white cardstock, drew with a pencil the outline of the patterned paper, and started to make a watercoloured background using two Catherine Pooler ink pads. I used the colours Serenade and Sweet Sixteen. The Dawn Blooms Base Kit includes a beautiful gold mirror cardstock, I cut some branches with some older Tim Holtz dies from it. I fussy cut a floral element from the leftover of the In The Water Garden patterned paper, and added the gold branches and some flower die cuts under the patterned paper. The die cuts are from the Ephemera 2 Floral Watercolor and Ephemera 3 Floral Watercolor die cut packs. I also added some die cut around my photo from the Ephemera 1 Floral Watercolor pack, which you can find in the Dawn Blooms Base Kit. I found the very same floral elements among the die cuts, so I decided to glue them with foam adhesive to the patterned paper in order to give the layout more dimension. Finally I added my journalling on a self-made tag, and added some floral die cuts to it from the Ephemera 2 Floral Watercolor and Ephemera 3 Floral Watercolor die cut packs. I added some sequins from the Loveland Sequin and Shaker Mix pack, two gold glitter resin heart stickers from the Garden Party collection of Maggie Holmes, which you can find in the Dawn Blooms Base Kit.
I hope I could inspire you to get creative with the beautiful Dawn Blooms Base Kit! Get it from the Clique International shop, and show us what you've created in our Facebook group! Happy crafting! Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. I hope you are all doing great. For me, things are going tough, but we'll over it, right? In Hungary kids are in distance learning since March (just like last year), my daughter too. She has some online lessons, but many tasks have to be done after that. Alone, because we work (from home, but can't sit next to her all the time). And she masters it so well! We are sooo proud of her! Of course I had to scrap this memory of her second school year. For my layout I used the Les Jardins Base Kit, which is a great mix of Maggie Holmes' Garden Party and Jen Hadfield Reaching Out collections. I cut the Choose Happy cut file of CUT to YOU, and backed the letters with the Hello You patterned paper of the Reaching Out collection. I wanted to use a white chardstock as a base, so I used some gesso and then started to paint the background. I used my Catherine Pooler ink pads for watercoloring, they are really great for that technique! I used the colours Chiffon, Sauna, Catching Rays and Bellini, this last one can be found in the Unicorn Kit. Then I started to mat my photo, I used some patterned papers from the Reaching Out collection: Reaching Out, Hello You. I cut out a rainbow stripe and also some cards from the Hello you paper, and glued them on the bottom of the cardstock, Then I started to embellish the layout. I added some phrase ephemera cut outs from the Les Jardins Base Kit, and some icon ephemeras from the Budapest Add-on Kit. I really like how these little pieces add to a layout. I also added an epoxy flair from Scrapping Happy studio which was in the Les Jardins Base Kit. Finally I added an alphabeth pin from the Budapest Add-On kit. I hope I could inspire you to use your Catherine Pooler inks as watercoulurs! Now go to the Clique International shop and get some of the new kits and add-ons!
Happy crafting! Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. I hope you all had some blessed time with your family this Easter, and could take some photos. Have you heard about the April challenges of Clique International? Week 1 is about Great Candids: ![]() For this layout I used a photo of my husband and my daughter when they were just having fun, cuddling and joking, and laughing a lot. They were so focused to each other that they didn't even noticed I am trying to take a photo of them. My task for this post was to use a sketch for my layout. Where do you look for sketches? There are plenty on Pinterest, but I just realised you can search Instagram for them as well. I remembered a sketch of Steffi Ried, which she made in January for Scrapbook Werkstatt, and immediately fell in love with. Here is the sketch of Steffi Ried: And here is my layout: For this layout I used the Sunkissed Sampler Kit which features the Sunkissed collection of Cocoa Vanilla Studio. For the semicircles I used the Sunkissed 6x8 paper pad, which is sold separetely. I chose the blue leopard patterned paper and the woodgrain for the half-circles. I cut them with the help of a circle cutter. Then I made the background on a white cardstock. First I used clear gesso for the parts I wanted to use watercolours. When it was dry I used the Catherine Pooler ink pad (colour: Sauna) for the yellow and my Prima Watercolour sets (Tropical) for the pink watercoloring. Comparing the two mediums the C.Pooler ink pads are more pigmented, I just love them now even more! When the watercolouring was dry, I used an older ScrapUp! stencil from my stash to add some hearts on the watercoloured parts. Then I started to embellish the page. For the photo editing I used the PicMonkey and Photo Collage Apps. I wanted to embellish everything diagonal, when I come against the difficulty of having the photo and its surroundings are not vertical, while the embellishments of the left side are horizontal. I had to equilibrate the layout with some phrasel stickers from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I added some floral and other die cuts, a wood button from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit, and some puffy stickers and clear stickers from the Modern Documenter Sunkissed Kit. Finally I added the title, I just love those glittery gold foam title stickers which you can find in the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I hope you liked my inspiration using this fabulous sketch of Steffi Ried. Give it a try! And make some photos for our Photo-taking challenges, and create a layout or more from them ;-)
And don't forget to ckeck out the Clique Kits shop for the best kits ever! ;-) Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. My task for this was to experiment, so I decided to play with my new Catherine Pooler ink pad, and try some of the things you can use this ink pad besides stamping. I chose an older photo of my daughter - I can't believe how time flies! She was such a cute little girl 6 years ago! (I need to add the date stamp on this layout ;-P ) First I got out of the Lilac Avenue Kit, which is a new paper crafting collection from Teresa Collins in the Clique Chromatics series. It has beautiful purple colour and silver foil accents, and a silver glitter cardstock - it's just gorgeous! I really like the florals in the Lilac Floral paper, so I wanted to fussy cut some of them. I also decided to make a larger border on the left side of the layout, so I layered the lilac washi tape, the glitter cardstock and 2 patterned papers on each other. I fussy cut some of the florals and started to make some leaves to complete them. For this I used a leaf stamp from Newton's Nook, you can find it in the Glorious Foliage kit and an older Altenew leaf stamp from my stash. I stamped the images with the Drive-In ink pad of Catherine Pooler, it has a beautiful purple-blue colour. This ink stays wet long enough, so I added different embossing powder on the stamped images and heat embossed them. I used clear, lilac and glittery embossing powders to get different types of leaves. The Catherine Pooler ink pads are also great for faux-watercoloring the background. I stamped about 2-3 times on an acrylic block, added some water to it with a bigger brush and started to colour my background. I could have used some gesso before that, but I only wanted to make a light watercolored background, so I left it. I haven't used much water, so my white cardstock did not curled up much ;-) I also used the butterfly washi tape from the Lilac Avenue Kit for decorating my layout - it has also silver foil, just beautiful! I fussy cut some butterflies and added them as a sticker on my layout. I also glued them on white cardstock and fussy cut them. This way I could bend their wings and add some dimension to the layout. At least I added some purple sequins from the mini sequins. I really love how this layout turned out.
I hope I could inspire you to try these awesome and versatile Catherine Pooler ink pads! I already have some ordered, can't wait to get them! ;-) Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. My task was to scroll on Pinterest and find something inspiring. I've been looking for all kinds of stuff and finally found a beautiful floral garland, which I immediately found great for re-making on paper. I started with fussy cutting - have I told you lately that I love fussy cutting? It is so relaxing if you have good scissors! You can do it while watching your favourite show, or listening to a podcast. I often do it when I don't have moyo to scrap, but still want to make something at my table. Have you seen the amazing paper pads for fussy cutting by Mintay Papers in the shop? There are different themed books, they are all 6X8" and full of elements to fussy cut. I chose the Flora Book 2, which was perfect for my floral garland. Here is my layout: In this booklet you can find 2 different coloured floral elements (2-2 pages of pastell and bright coloured flowers) and 2 pages of leaves. Each design has 4 pieces, so you have plenty to work with ;-) The pages are double sided, on the back they have some beautiful colours, which you can use as a scrapbook paper. For my garland I used a twine as a base, I arranged two pieces of them as on the photo from Pinterest, and started to add my fussy-cut floral elements. I glued them with foam tape to add some dimension. I also added leaves to each bouquet. Arranging the flowers was harder than I first thought :-P but it turned out beautifully. I decided not to mat my photo this time, to keep this layout clean and white. Finally I added a chipboard foam title from the Late Afternoon collection of Amy Tangerine, which you could find in the September Song Kit, which is already sold out. I hope I could inspire you to make a layout with only fussy-cut elements! Show us if you did ;-)
