Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a clock that I created using products from two amazing kits, the new Lady Whistledown Base Kit featuring the Prima Marketing Painted Floral collection, and the It's Easy Being Green Add-on Kit. It has been some time since I created a piece to hang in my art space. I sometimes lose track of time when I'm creating, so this clock will help keep me conscious of the passing hours. I used the solid circle base from the P13 There is No Planet B Chipboard Embellishment Set 4 and Painted Floral Rub-ons to create this project. I really love the hand-painted look!
The rub-ons are easy to cut and layer to create a custom design. They adhere beautifully to raw chipboard. I added adhesive rhinestones from the kit to some of the flower centers for a dimensional accent that sparkles when it catches the light.
I also added a small bee charm to the clock face. Once I finished applying the floral rub-ons and embellishments to the chipboard, I added the clock hands and motor, which I picked up from Amazon for about four dollars.
If you haven't visited the store recently, the stunning Lady Whistledown Kit is just one of the fantastic new kits available. Click here to check out what's new in the Clique International Store!

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a rocket mini album that I put together using the super cool Studio Light Hokulea Base Kit. The name of this bright and quirky kit means "Star of Gladness" after a very special and blessed Hawaiian Voyager outrigger canoe used to share the traditional art of Polynesian navigation techniques using only the sea and sky to navigate on a voyage. The celestial, galactic, astrological, and oceanic vibes throughout this kit definitely have me feeling glad!
The patterned papers from the Dutch company Studio Light feature artwork by Art by Marlene, that is all about fantasy and imagination. I'm ready to blast off into space with these whimsical robots and mermaids!
This one-of-a-kind base kit is sure to jump start your creativity.
The foundation of this album is built using a P13 Rocket Mini Album. This light-weight chipboard soaks up color quickly. I used Sharpie markers to color the front cover. Then, I added fussy cuts, die-cuts, enamel dots, glow-in-the-dark stars, silver cardstock, and white paint to embellish the cover.
I designed each pair of pages in a similar fashion, first by using patterned paper to cover the page, and then embellishing with fussy cuts, die-cuts, enamel dots, glow-in-the-dark stars, heart clips, and doodles. I created photo mats from cardstock that I can place pictures in at a later date.
Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Ink was the perfect dark blue to soften the edges of each album page. I applied the ink using a brush so I could easily feather in and blend the color for a smooth finish.
Can we talk about how cute the robots and mermaids are?! Be still my whimsical heart!
I also embellished the back cover of this album, because I just couldn't stop myself.
This album measures approximately 6x8 inches, and even after embellishing these rocket-shaped pages, I have more than half the kit left. I will definitely be sharing more projects with this kit soon, so please come back and visit.

Good morning! Nicole here. It's been awhile since I shared a layout on the blog. I have been creating lots of projects, but needed to take photos etc. I finally found some time to play catch up! And I'm excited to share this layout with you today!
Have you seen the Limited Edition Book Club Kit? I just love it so much!! I especially love the patterned papers in this beautiful collection. It's super cute and it's still available in the shop. Grab it now... before it sells out.
I did a bit of fussy cutting for this layout... the books, pots, journaling card and greenery were all cut from the papers. I used foam squares to pop them on the paper for added dimension.
I glued the wood veneer "Book Lover" embellishment onto the photo and then used a black pen and ruler to hand doodle the frame.
To complete the layout, I cut the book image from a sheet of patterned paper and then added the stamp along with the chair and plants to fill in the white space at the bottom. What do you think? Isn't this kit adorable? I just love everything about it! Thank you for visiting today!
Hello everyone. Nicole here! Have you seen the Sunshine Clique Sampler Kit? I just love it!!! It's so sunny and happy...and pretty! The patterns are adorable and the colors are so soft.
The size of this layout is 8"x4". I love this size. For the background, I used a few of the tags from the kit to create a variety of circles in the background. The chipboard embellishments are from my stash.
As you can see, I used a lot of layers on this small layout to add depth and dimension to my layout. And of course, I had to include a little bit of journaling at the bottom. Otherwise, the layout will feel incomplete...to me at least. Thank you so much for stopping by. If you haven't had the chance to check this kit out, check it out today. It's a really cute kit!
