Happy Halloween my Clique friends! It is Ali here with you today sharing a spooky Halloween layout using the Seasonal Kit |Happy Halloween from Fancy Pants.

I had so much fun creating with this wonderful kit. I wanted to use all the papers in the kit, so I decided to cut 4 of my favorites into squares and matted a series of 4 of my favorite pictures from a haunted hike I did with my husband this past week. After I laid out my papers, I created a faux stitching around them and love the look it gives my page.

I used the die cuts and enamels dots to embellish my layout. I also added a spooky ghost flair from Scrappin Happy Studio that went perfectly with this Clique Kit.

I pop dotted the tags and other ephemera to give some dimension to the layout.

How cute is this spider dangling from the top of the page. I love this kit and the muted colors for Halloween. Go check it out in the shop for your Halloween layouts this year, you will not regret it.

Home Together Scrapbook Layout | Dana Tatar

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a layout that I created with the Limited Edition Inspired by Olivia Kit that features the new Memory Lane collection from Fancy Pants Designs, and the Vintage Garden collection from new brand Dannagirl Designs. I love the papers in this kit so much! I created a geometric background for this layout from patterned paper triangles and white cardstock squares. This design allowed me to use many different prints in a fun way.

I created a layered title and journaling spot for this page using tags, ephemera, puffy stickers, and enamel dots from the kit. The Maggie Holmes Market Square Bow is from a past kit.

This moth is my favorite die-cut from the Fancy Pants Memory Lane Ephemera Pack. I added Fancy Pants Lake Life Enamel Dots to the center of the moth to add dimension to the page.

Hello Clique friends!
Valeska here today and I have to tell you that I'm not ready for Christmas project yet.
I had to share with you this layout I made with the beautiful Lake Life Sample Kit by Fancy Pants Designs.

This kit is also for fall projects. Love the color palette and the wood embellishments, the ephemera pack and enamel dots are so pretty and perfect complements, they can be sold separately.

First of all, I chose this beautiful wood patterned paper for my background and two more patterned paper. I used two photos of my kids in one of the Muskoka´s Lake in Canada. We loved this place!

I distressed the edges of patterned papers and placed them making an inverted triangle.

I bent the edge of the top paper triangle and placed some staples, letting leaves and flowers appear.
I used foam tape on ephemeras to create some dimension on my page.

I used the enamel dots that comes with the kit.

Black Cat Halloween Album | Dana Tatar

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a Halloween mini album that I created to document the holiday this year. I primarily used the Fancy Pants Designs A Little Scary Seasonal Kit. The blue and black cat patterned paper was an immediate favorite for me. I decided to alter a black cat children's board book for this project to bring the black cat to life. Using a book as the base for an album is an affordable and fun way to document memories.

The die-cuts, puffy stickers, pompoms, ribbons and lace, and enamel dots from the kit provided a fun mix of embellishments for the inner pages of this album. I started by covering the book pages with patterned paper and then I added photos, journaling, and festive accents.

The Pretty Little Studio cut-apart journaling spots and sentiment stickers from the Riconoscenza Base Kit were the perfect supplement to the Fancy Pants Designs products and a fun way to add more information to each page.

Happy weekend friends! Today I have a really pretty fall layout to share with you using Fancy Pants Design's Lake Life Collection. There are so many beautiful elements in this collection and this collection paired up nicely with the photos I used!

The ephemera pack is my absolute favorite! Just look at them. They are so beautiful...I need more. I created the tags at the top of the layout using metal dies from Elle's Studio. Metal dies come in handy at times... we have some available in the shop...Come grab a few dies for your desk project, by clicking here.

I used a dark evergreen alcohol marker to color in the wooden tree embellishment. Then I glued some rhinestones on top of it to make it pretty.

I added more embellishments below the photo and lots of stamping! Stamps are a must have too... especially for those layouts that you don't really have much to write about...you can use stamps to help tell your story.

Miss Incredible | Alexandra Skifton

Happy Summer Clique Peeps! it is Ali here with you today sharing a fun layout for the Clique Con Challenge.
Have you created yours yet? There are so many free wonderful cut files in the shop for you to create with. I was so excited to use the Miss Incredible one that Petra created.

I happened to run into Miss Incredible by the Incredibles roller coaster at Disneyland and was happy to pose with her. I used the Fancy Pants, Sidekick Optional collection from the shop to create this layout. I started off by cutting the buildings out of the second sheet and stacked two layers of foam tape to one layer. I offset it a little to give it even more dimension and love how 3D the layout looks with the stacked buildings.

Petra created this amazing cut file and I had so much fun working with it. I cut out the title using the black and white graph paper included the collection and decided not to back fill it with paper. I pop dotted the title and used Stickles to fill in some of the polka dots on the background paper. I love how it turned out.

I used a few die cuts that were included in this kit from the shop and decorated around the picture. I cut a bulls eye out of another sheet in the collection and added it to a corner and love how it draws the eye up to that corner. I finished off the layout with a few enamel dots.

My kinda people | Life's a beach 12x12'' layout

Hello crafty friends! Rita here today and I'm so excited to share my latest project with you. It's a very special occasion! I scraplifted a layout of one of our lovely "The Clique" members for our blog posting category "my kinda people" and I can't wait to show and tell. I love the Clique community, because everyone is welcome and we support and encourage each other. To celebrate this we also want to give some shout-outs to our Clique members. Today it's my turn and I decided to scraplift the fabulous layout by Hajnal Suhai which she has posted in May for the INSD challenge at "The Clique".

Isn't it beautiful? I loved the composition of it right away and had an idea for my layout instantly. But before I show you my (boy) "version", I want to introduce Hajnal. She's not only super kind but also has a beautiful Instagram feed, you can find it here: https://www.instagram.com/hajnal_s_kreativwelt/ - After I had asked her to introduce herself and tell us how she discovered scrapbooking, she wrote this for the blog:

"Hi everyone! My name is Hajnal. I live in Germany and my husband and I share our life between Heidelberg, the Balaton Lake in Hungary, in the marvellous village Tihany and from time to time in Transylvania( my birth place ). Therefore, our life is sometimes full of adventure. In Tihany, being surrounded by nature gives me an endless source of creative inspiration. Having relatives and friends in these countries, four years ago I have decided to make and send my own handmade Christmas cards for them. I enjoyed the making process very much and I started to watch cardmaking tutorials on the internet. Step by step, I came in contact with the scrapbooking. These days I make more layouts but cardmaking and the album making is still in my heart. I think, I can describe my style with a couple of words: keep it simple and soft, add some flowers and hand stitch a little. "

While Hajnal's layout is dominated by shades of orange and pink, I mostly used bluish colors. This is probably the biggest difference. I focused more on the composition than the colors. Everything (well, apart from the yellow enamel dots) I needed for this layout was part of the Mermaid Hair Kit. It features the Vitamin Sea collection by Fancy Pants Designs. You can find the paper pads here (12x12'') and here (6x8''). I've already used some elements in my Art Journaling project and my July Moodboard Challenge project. Go check them out if you haven't already! This time I wanted to use more of the patterned papers which is very unusual for me. But I wanted a patterned background, so I made the most out of it! lol I used three different patterned papers - Seahabilitation, Happy Stripes and the Cut Apart Paper.

I cut out the Lacy Mandala Digital Cut File (for this one I also used a patterned paper from the kit) and backed it with the Cut Apart paper. This is kind of my substitution for the wreath Hajnal had used.

Instead of florals I used the chipboard and ephemera pieces from the kit and some palm leave dies (these ones are from We R Memory Keepers/Heidi Swapp). Let's take a look at the full layout:

While Hajnal's layout is elegant and soft, mine is a little more graphic and bold, maybe it turned out this way because it's a boys layout? Or maybe the design of the "Vitamin Sea" collection lead the way... Who knows... Any way, I love it and I hope my son will appreciate this one aswell. I hope you feel inspired to get crafty today. Sweet Treat | Piroska Czako-Radvanyi

Hi Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest layout for Clique International. Do you like ice cream? We do :-D But by the time I got older, I don't eat anywhere. I like good quality, no artificial flavours, real fruits and real chocolate! :-P We are lucky, because there is a good Italian ice cream shop near by, and sad, because they haven't open up this summer because of family issues. And as though we have to walk further for a great ice cream, I still can scrapbook about our favourite ones.

For my layout I used the A Cherry on Top Collection Kit of Fancy Pants Designs. I decided to use the Waffle Cones paper as the background. I cut a 4x11"long sheet from the All the Yum paper, then cut apart the Cut Apart paper, distressed the edges and used the cards to create my layering under the photo. I really like the soft colours, they are perfect ice cream colours ;-)

I took the round elements from the Tags & Labels pack (part of the sold-out Base Kit), cut them and added them onto both sides of the photo.

I added the Sweet chipboard as my title, and some letter stickers from my stash, The Chipboard is part of the collection kit.

Finally I added a cluster onto the right bottom corner using the ephemera pack (part of the Base Kit) and added puffy dots - part of the collection kit.

Hello Summer | Mixed Media Art Journal spread by Rita

Hello crafty friends! Rita here today with a fun step-by-step tutorial to make a summery art journal page. I used my new Media Journal (Blue Edition) by Dina Wakley, but you can use any art journal you already have or like. There are even some in the Clique International Shop:

For this project I used acrylic paints and stencils. Here you can find the stencil I used: Basic Texture Kit
Here are the acrylic paints: Dylusions - Last but not least I used the Mermaid Kit and the Yellow Roses paper by Pebbles.

I started with lots of paint as you can see. LOL Beforehand I just knew I wanted to make a summery spread and using a photo of a recent trip to Lake Constance. So this is where the experiment started. I used an Indigo color, but it was too dark, then I added pink, some yellow, white. This is the cool thing about Art Journaling, everything goes and often if not always you just go with the flow. I let it rest for a while so it could dry. But when I came back later I wasn't fully satisfied. And that's ok. I would paint it over. No big deal! But before that I used a stencil (from the Maggie Holmes "Sunny Days" collection, which you can find here) and some structure gell gloss. You can also use the Molding paste in the "Basic Texture kit".

After drying the gell gloss became transparent but there was enough texture, so I painted it over, because it was too dark and bluish for me.

I like that the blue paint is still shimmering through a little. Also the right side is a denim page. It was a little flimsy, but easy to work with.

I added some mint and yellow. It looks totally different to how I started out, definitely brighter, and I liked it much better. I usually work on Art Journal pages for days. I add something, then let it dry. Sometimes I paint something over like in this case. Sometimes I have a new idea or find a new embellishment. It's a work in progress and a real nice opportunity to let your creative juices flowing.

Afterwards it was time to embellish and use some stamps. I used mini stamps by "Flora and Fauna". Unfortunately they are already sold out in the shop, but you can find some Flora and Fauna products here:

They are high-quality and easy to use. The most important thing when stamping on paint is to use waterproof ink pads. You can find them here:

As you can see, I used a lot of die cuts from the "Mermaid Hair" Kit, but also some fussycut flowers.

For my title I used an older Alpha Stamp from my stash, but I also like handwriting or adding some florals with a waterproof pen. Here I was satisfied with the black stamping and all the little details. Let's look at the full spread. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Adventure On St. Simons

Hello friends, Theresa here with another fun travel layout using the December Rainbow kit! Back in 2015 we took a weekend trip to Savannah and St. Simons Island, so I was inspired to create a layout for my son Nick's album. Here is my layout.

I began my layout with the best part, the photos, which I printed at 3 inches square with white borders. In my head I was thinking two photos with paper strips behind it, so I pulled out what I had from the kit. Papers, ephemera, everything. I pulled two paints I had, Spun Sugar and Mowed Lawn from Tim Holtz, and splattered a bit of them onto the black and white patterned paper.

Once I had my background dried, I laid out my photos and gathered some of the ephemera pieces from the Fancy Pants pack. I chose favorites that expanded the color palette of the layout. The title word Adventure stood out to me, so I began to add to that for my entire title. It needed a home base to stand out against, so the patterned paper strips came in handy here. I've used the alphabet Thickers in the kit to finish out the title, and popped the word Adventure up using pop dots.

Once the title was down, everything else was just gravy on top! I adhered all the fun bits and pieces that I love and that were able to be tucked in behind photos, around the title, anywhere that needed a little pop of color. Each piece that I added tells a part of this story: it was a road trip that we took at the spur of the moment (hence the Just Wingin' It die cut), we drove down in the car (hence the car die cut!) and just did whatever we felt like doing, and we discovered some really awesome things along the way.

Besides the ephemera I also have journaling, both stamped and hand written. I used the labels in the kit from Pretty Little Studio to add my hand written words. This place on St. Simon's Island, GA is home to the famous Lighthouse that Eugenia Price has written about in her historical novels. If you're looking for interesting reads about the south, look her up. Our kids had so much fun touring the grounds and climbing to the top of the lighthouse. My stamped sentiment is from the One Canoe Two rotary stamp and my date stamp is an old one from Target I've had for a few years now. Here is one last look at my layout.
