Hello friends! I've been going through my stash, putting beautiful papers and stickers to good use! I'm determined to use up my stash before buying more papers and embellishments, but it's so hard! Today I'm sharing a simple layout I created using some fun papers and stickers from PhotoPlay. To begin, I cut the blue patterned paper to measure 8 1/2x11 and then the printed paper to measure 7 1/2x10. Next, I mounted them together using adhesives. I cut a variety of mats from Cocoa Vanilla Studio's Fun and Games patterned paper to frame the photo. I created the tag using a metal tag die and added the ribbon. I used foam squares for a few of the stickers to add dimension to the layout. I cut the wild sentiment from the cut-apart journaling card paper. I was going to color it in with markers, but decided I wanted to leave it black and white since I already had lots of colors on this layout. Th puffy stickers are from my stash. Isn't Henry to the cutest with his blond hair. I just love him to pieces. The papers really show his personality on this layout! They are so perfect for boy layouts! Thank you for visiting today!

Hello friends! Happy Saturday. I manage to find some time to play with the Sunkissed Sampler Kit and the Modern Documenter Sunkissed kit to create this fun layout! And I am going to share with you how I created the background, step-by-step! Super easy and fun to do! To begin, I taped down the ends of the Gathered Flowers stencil from The Crafter's Workshop to the glass mat to prevent the stencil from slipping when I blend the inks through the stencil. Next, I used a blending brush and the Cummerbund Ink to create blue florals. I really like using Catherine Pooler's inks because the colors are so vibrant!! Make sure you use a different brush when switching colors so that the colors do not mix. I used the Lime Rickey ink to create the leaves. You want to use a medium or small brush for this process so that you do not go outside the lines too much. Then, I used the Party Dress ink to create the pink flowers. Of course you can use any colors for your flowers. I basically selected colors that were in the papers and embellishments that I am using from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I used the Tiara and Tiki Torch ink to finish the background. Now, it's time to remove the stencil from the cardstock. :) I cut the floral paper to measure 7 1/2"x10" and then I cut the heart patterned paper to measure 8 1/2"x11". I decided I wanted to have a little bit of patterned paper framing the layout. I cropped the photos and matted them with some patterned paper so that the photos would not look to flat. And then I added all of the pretty embellishments. Some of the embellishments were mounted down using foam squares. One of my favorite things to do is add layers of die cuts and stickers onto my layouts. It's my favorite part of the process-playing with embellishments! More layers at the top. I used a black pen to create a thin border around the layout and added a few lines around the photos with some hand scribbles to make it look like stitching. Initially, I was not going to add a title at the top, but it looked like something was missing at the top...so I added a few more embellishments. :) I really enjoyed making this layout. The colors and embellishments are so happy... I just love the whole vibe of this layout! What do you think? Thank you for stopping by today. We still have a few Sunkissed Sampler kits in the shop if you wanna snag one!
Hey Clique International! This is MJ and today I'm here to share a fun layout that I made using the fabulous Sunkissed Sampler Kit. This photo is from my first (and favorite) vacation that Ry and I have taken together so far, and this page truly holds a special place in my heart! With this page, I didn't hold back on color, and I challenged myself to use as many patterns from the kit as possible! When I first saw the (2) ombre papers in the kit, I knew that I wanted to find a way to split both pages and present them both onto the final layout. To do this, I opted to score a line diagonally down the warmer of the (2) ombre pages and to fold that paper in half. Optionally, you could have torn your own diagonal line and done it that way, but I honestly love the look of the dramatic center fold that I created on this page. Speaking of folds, I think that my favorite part of this page is the cute folded edge with the colorful die cuts. It feels like they are just spilling out onto the page from the corner, and I had a great time making it! I chose warmer colors to coordinate with the warmer side of the layout, but you could totally mix it up and do all rainbow if you wanted to! I'm all about saving pretty paper when I can, so before adhering the folded warmer ombre page to the "cool" 12x12 ombre page, I chose to cut away some of the star paper from underneath that wasn't going to be visible. I like to stretch my supplies in this way when I can- I also find it's a great way to re-use products and get the most out of your kits! Next, to create some flow on the page and pull attention away from the corners, I added some colorful clear stickers from the Sunkissed Add-On Kit. The fact that they were arrows only made it more perfect! I haven't used clear stickers before, so I decided to use them again on this page to back the rainbow on my cut file. The Sampler Kit includes these unique clear stickers that look like paint smears in all different colors, so I layered them together to create a layered horizontal rainbow instead of a more traditional one. I stuck my layered rainbow on a piece of white cardstock, and then adhered it, along with a colorful mixture of patterned papers, to the back of the cut file. I also added some more puffy stickers the word "Rainbows" along with a citrus die cut in place of the sun. I just love how cute and colorful this whole collection is! I think it might be one of my favorites from this year, it's just so bright and cheery, and who couldn't use some rainbows right now?! To finish up this awesome page, I just embellished my photo with some fun die cuts, backed the photo with some cute patterned paper, and added a "Together" sticker from the Sampler Kit, and then splashed on some gold acrylic paint to give the layout some extra oomph! The colors and bold patterns remind me of that trip and what a blast we had together. Being around Ryan feels a lot like sunshine and rainbows, so this page just made me so happy to create! I hope that no matter where you are in the world, that you have someone in your life that feels like sunshine to you. Sending Rainbows Your Way, MJ Hello my Clique Kit friends! it is Ali here with you today with my Sunshine & Rainbows layout! I was so excited to see this beautiful Sampler Kit by Cocoa Vanilla Studio in the shop. I mean who doesn't love rainbows! This paper just screamed out to me and it matched my rainbow dress perfectly! Then I saw this free cut file from Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine and knew that it had to go on my rainbow page! How perfect is this Sunkissed collection from Cocoa Vanilla. I used the 6x8 paper pad to back up the cut file. You can also purchase this in the shop to add on with the sampler kit. I used foam tape on the back of the cut file to give some dimension to the page. I embellished the layout with the rainbow flair and the die cut package that was included in this kit. I am just beyond thrilled on how this layout came together with this wonderful collection, cut file and the picture of me in my rainbow dress and Mr. Sunshine! Hurry quick to the shop to purchase this kit because it is on sale and you don't want to miss out on it! Hope everyone has a sunshine and rainbow kind of day!
