Hello my Clique Kit friends! It is Ali here today sharing a layout with the Base Kit | Ashville that is currently in the shop. There is a lot of Periwinkle color in this kit and I thought it would be perfect for pictures of my husband and me in the Lavender fields. There are so many different pretty papers in this collection and I used a lot of them as you can see. I used four different pattern papers and a solid blue that was included in the kit. I decided to hand stitch around the solid blue paper to add some texture to the layout. I used white thread to make it pop a bit. I added foam tape behind the solid paper to give the page a little dimension. I added a lighter blue piece to the left side of the photos and used my notebook border punch to make it stand out. I used the embellishments from the kit and added them around the photos. I did add a thin piece of foam tape on the back center of the butterfly and pinched her wings so it looks like she is floating right off the page. There is so much prettiness in this kit. So if you are even thinking about it, I would head over to the shop right now and pick it up before it sells out. Base kit | Asheville (cliquekits.com)
Thanks for joining me today and I can't wait to see what you make! Love, Ali xo

Happy September Clique Kits friends! It is Ali here with you today sharing a galactic vibe layout using the Base Kit | Hokulea. Hokulea means star of gladness and I am glad to be sharing my layout with you using this beautiful kit. As soon as I saw this paper I knew it would be perfect for my dreamy space photo that was taken this summer in Chicago. I used two different sheets of paper from this kit and gutted one of them for the third layer, which I also matted on white cardstock to make it pop. The kit comes with a sheet of silver paper and it was calling to have stars cut out of it. I decided to make them into shakers because of the cute sequin mix of moons and stars that came in the kit. I backed the stars with acetate so you could see the paper behind it and they look like they are just floating in the gorgeous sky. I just love these shaker stars that I created and sprinkled on my page. I embellished the layout with some die cuts that were included in this kit. I hope you think this layout is out of this world. Go check out the link to see what other goodies are included with this kit.
Hokulea| Studio Light (cliquekits.com) Love, Ali xo Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest layout for Clique International. My task for this blog post was to make something for the theme: Don't Throw Me Away. Recycling is very popular nowadays, and I love that you can even do it in scrapbooking. Let me show you my scrapbook layout using pieces of a packaging material. First I cut the Craft A Happy Life cut file of CUT to YOU from white precision cardstock. For my layout I chose the Me Time Base Kit, which features some single sided cardstocks from Alexandra Renke, double sided patterned papers from Altenew, die cuts from both, stickers of Heidi Swapp and shaker embellishments of Jen Hadfield. First I backed the cut files with the patterned papers of Altenew (Wildflower: Pathway, Blooming Vines) from the Me Time Base Kit. I also used the packaging material for the backing, I just love this embossed craft cardstock, I got in a box to save my ordered products, it looks awesome, and is great for these cut files, isn't it? When I was ready with backing the cut files, I started to fussy cut some paint tubes from the Alexandra Renke design paper from the Me Time Base Kit. My photo was taken 4 years ago, when my daughter sat next my mother and they started to paint. They are both so creative, and my daughter was totally taken up by painting. Loved watching them in that flow feeling :-) Then I started to arrange my layout. As the two cut files are quite big, they directed the arrangement. I put the title in the upper left corner, and the paint brush cup in the bottom right corner. The photo came between them diagonally, I also added some packaging material under the photo to add some dimension to it. As the packaging material is quite high, I used foam adhesive for glueing down the cut files. Then I started to glue down the fussy cut paint tubes from the Alexandra Renke design paper from the Me Time Base Kit. I highlighted some of them by using foam adhesive. I hope I could inspire you to not to throw away the packaging materials from your boxes but recycle them in you scrapbook projects, Reducing waste is a must, so why not be creative with it? ;-)
Now head on to the Clique International shop and grab your Me Time Base Kit while supplies last! ;-) Happy crafting! Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. So incredible it is already July! For today's post I brought the next spread of my Storyline Chapters insert where I record our Spring break at the Lake Balaton. I use the dotted one for these memories, it is plain and works perfectly for such memories. First I chose 3 photos for this spread. On the left side I only wanted to use one, on the right the two selfies. For the left side I cut out two cards from the Fun in the Sun paper of the Sunkissed collection of Cocoa Vanilla Studio. You can find all those pretty papers and embellishments in the Sunkissed Sampler Kit and Sunkissed Modern Documenter Kit. I arranged the cards and the photo, and addes my journalling in one of the rectangles. I added some clear stickers from the Sunkissed Modern Documenter Kit, some phrase stickers from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I also stamped a rainbow with the Storyline Chapters stamp set which you can find in the Storyline Chapters Grey Starter Kit. On the right side I had a horisontal photo, by wich I repeated the arrangement from the left side. I cut out a 3x3 card from the 6x8 Sunkissed paper pad, and added some clear stickers from the Sunkissed Modern Documenter Kit, a die cut and a phrase sticker from the Sunkissed Sampler Kit. I added the rainbow stripe from the Fun in the Sun paper under the photo. On the bottom I added my last photo and stamped my title with the same colours, the rainbow paper stripe has. It was easy to copy with the awesome catherine Pooler inks! I used the colours Cummerbund, Catching Rays, Pucker Up and Rouge. I also added some clear stickers from the Sunkissed Modern Dosumenter Kit. I hope I could inspire you to use these Storyline Chapters inserts for documenting your story.
Go to the shop and buy some Catherine Pooler ink pads too ;-) Happy crafting! Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. I hope you are all doing great. For me, things are going tough, but we'll over it, right? In Hungary kids are in distance learning since March (just like last year), my daughter too. She has some online lessons, but many tasks have to be done after that. Alone, because we work (from home, but can't sit next to her all the time). And she masters it so well! We are sooo proud of her! Of course I had to scrap this memory of her second school year. For my layout I used the Les Jardins Base Kit, which is a great mix of Maggie Holmes' Garden Party and Jen Hadfield Reaching Out collections. I cut the Choose Happy cut file of CUT to YOU, and backed the letters with the Hello You patterned paper of the Reaching Out collection. I wanted to use a white chardstock as a base, so I used some gesso and then started to paint the background. I used my Catherine Pooler ink pads for watercoloring, they are really great for that technique! I used the colours Chiffon, Sauna, Catching Rays and Bellini, this last one can be found in the Unicorn Kit. Then I started to mat my photo, I used some patterned papers from the Reaching Out collection: Reaching Out, Hello You. I cut out a rainbow stripe and also some cards from the Hello you paper, and glued them on the bottom of the cardstock, Then I started to embellish the layout. I added some phrase ephemera cut outs from the Les Jardins Base Kit, and some icon ephemeras from the Budapest Add-on Kit. I really like how these little pieces add to a layout. I also added an epoxy flair from Scrapping Happy studio which was in the Les Jardins Base Kit. Finally I added an alphabeth pin from the Budapest Add-On kit. I hope I could inspire you to use your Catherine Pooler inks as watercoulurs! Now go to the Clique International shop and get some of the new kits and add-ons!
Happy crafting! Hello and Happy New Year's Eve to Everyone :-) It's Piroska here today on the Clique International blog, I hope you all had a very merry Christmas holiday and now you are ready to say goodbye to this ...(you name it) year. Let me show you a layout of our Christmas Eve, what was everything but not usual! Because of the pandemic we couldn't meet my parents, so we celebrated 300 kilometers away from each other, and opened our presents while having a video chat. I have never ever had a Christmas when I did not see my parents... it was heartbreaking when I first realised that this is going to happen this Christmas... But then we decided to celebrate and enjoy it anyway, and had a holly jolly Christmas, no matter what! ;-) For my layout I first cut the Holly Jolly Christmas cut file of CUT to YOU from white cardstock. I cut it large, because I wanted to use it as a highlight of my page and backed it with some patterned papers of the Mistletoe kit , featuring the Muérdago collection of Mintopia Studio. For my background I used a white cardstock which I covered with clear gesso first. Then I started to use my Pastel Dreams Prima Confenctions Watercolors, painting with Lemonade, Rose and Sea Dream colours onto it. When it was dry I added some splashes with my Heidi Swapp Color Shine, I used Blush, Seafoam and Gold colours. When everything was dry, I glued down the cut file on the link side, using heavy cardstock on the back to add some dimension to it. I added the photo on the right, and matted it on some patterned papers of the Muérdago collection. I added some cut outs and puffy stickers for decoration, and some alphabeth stickers to continue the title. Last I added a self-made macramé Christmas tree for the Crossover challenge of Clique International. Trying out new things is so much fun! I enjoyed making some macrame trees very much, I'm going to add some to my December Daily album too, it is very addicting ;-) And pairing unusal crafts with scrapbooking is awesome!
I hope you are going to have some creative time in 2021 too! We'll be here to inspire you! |
