Hi Crafty Friends!!! As today is the last day of the month of October; I decided to document the month on a scrapbook layout instead of using my Memory Planner. This layout was so fun to create! I pulled together  pattern paper and ephemera from these 3 awesome kits in the Clique Store; Sampler Kit | Heidi Swapp's Sunchaser (cliquekits.com), Seasonal Kit | Cape May (cliquekits.com)  and Add-on Kit | It's Easy being Green (cliquekits.com). I typically only use 1-2 photos per layout; but love capturing all that I did during the month of October in one layout.

I fussy cut each of the leaves for this layout to represent "Fall". I matted each photo alternating between white cardstock as well as pattern paper. American Craft "Thickers" are my go-to for titles.

This journalling prompt is from the Heidi Swapp "Sunchaser" Collection. I decided to distress the edges of the prompt & each pattern paper strip using the Heidi Swapp distresser tool from stash.  

I used my HP sprocket to print out each 2x3 photo. Add ephemera from multiple brands.

Hi Crafty Friends! I am sharing a layout I created using the ​Add-on Kit | It's Easy being Green (cliquekits.com).  This kit is filled with beautiful pattern paper from P13, Paper House, Kaisercraft & American Crafts. I just love all of the greens & earth tones that this kit has.

Lately, I have been tearing sheets in order to add dimension and layers to my layouts. 

Making ephemera clusters makes any layout pop. I use pop dots to add various layers when making them. I also must add staples to my layouts as you can see in the top right corner.

I decided instead of using a large title; I just used a sticker from my stash and placed it on top of the super cute Jen Hadfield Clipboards. I added a graduation cap from my stash too.

 Hello Clique Kit crafty friends!!! I am super excited to be a part of the Clique International Team. I created a scrapbook  layout using pattern papers from the awesome ​ Seasonal Kit | Cape May (cliquekits.com) that is currently on sale in the shop.

I normally use white cardstock as my base page; but the flower paper "Summer Lovin'" from Simple Stories was too gorgeous not to use. I wanted to add some texture to my page; so I distressed the edges. I used the Heidi Swapp Distresser tool from my stash to achieve it. I love how it makes some of the paper curl and other tear slightly.

I wanted the vibrant yellow statements on the paper "Simply Summer" from Fancy Pants to be the focus. I tend to always add staples somewhere on my layouts too.  I added American Craft Thickers for my title from Sampler Kit | Heidi Swapp's Sunchaser (cliquekits.com) and used a star over the "i".

Instead of just matting the photo, I made a pendant to place the photo of my husband and I. I distressed the edges as well. All of the ephemera used was given dimension by adding one or two foam dots to them. The flower ephemera is from Jen Hadfield "Grateful Heart". Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a teen scrapbook layout that I created with the Life's A Party Sampler Kit. The Life's A Party Sampler Kit features the newest collection from the Damask Love brand, and it brings the fun and all the color! Included in the sampler is a full package of coordinating die-cut designs, which was my focus for embellishing this layout.

The colorful hearts printed on the Cherry Sweet 12x12 Patterned Paper caught my eye. I cut them from the paper and then used those hearts as a guide to brush stripes of acrylic paint onto a piece of white cardstock.

After the paint was dry, I secured die-cuts to the layout. I matched the colors of the die-cuts to the colorful stripes of paint. This was a fun way to embellish the bottom edge of my photo.
​

I finished the layout with some die-cut journaling spots and dimensional fabric daisies.

Good morning! I'm sharing a layout I creating using the Stitched Together Kit that's available at Clique International. The patterns in this kit is absolutely beautiful and I just love the color scheme.

​It makes me so happy to see my nephew's love of books because his Aunt Nicole is an avid reader, too! My sister said he just propped himself up in the chair and grabbed a few books and was flipping through the pages. So freaking adorable!

​I'm not sure how I feel about the plastic ephemera...  but I used them...and I kind of like how they look.

The die cuts are so cute... I especially love the kitty and bunny rabbit. :) I decided to place them on top of the book with the birdie, just for fun.

Happy Sunday friends! Don't forget to turn back your clocks if you haven't already done so! Today I'm sharing a layout I created with the Fairytale Kit. It's sooooo pretty!! 

I'm not gonna lie...at first I wasn't sure how to use this beautiful kit. All I know is that I absolutely love the patterns and ephemera. But then I forgot that I had the perfect picture to use... Love it when that happens. To begin, I selected my favorite patterned papers. I cut the main floral print to measure 8/12x11 and the yellow print to measure 10x6 1/2 inches. I realized too late that I cut the yellow paper too small... so I cut a strip of red patterned paper and placed it to the side. Then I cut a circle from the patterned paper and mounted down the papers.

Next, I moved the florals around the circle paper until I was happy with their placement. This took some time...but I'm happy with it!

I mounted down the ephemera using some foam squares to add dimension.  Those mushrooms are super cute!!

I glued a few white gems to the center of the butterfly and tiny flowers. Then I mounted the "my beautiful world" across the bottom of the photo using foam squares.

I had to find a way to use one of the bows. Super pretty and feminine. The tab and sticker word is from my stash. I felt that I needed a tab or tag at the top to pull it together.

Happy Friday! I love it when I can use a color photo that looks great on the layout...especially with a lot of color! I love the photo with the hand mural...and I really did not want to change it to black and white to make it work for my layout. Sometimes, it can't be helped... but I happened to have some papers from Vick Boutin and it's perfect!

​I used papers and embellishments from Vicki's Color Study Collection to complete this fun, colorful and lively layout. The products were given to me from Clique International and there may be a few embellishments left in the shop... click here to grab it! This gorgeous collection flew off the shelf. It's that pretty and awesome...

​Seriously, these embellishments!! And those gorgeous flowers! I added the gems to the flowers to make them sparkle. I used foam squares to mount down some of the stickers to add dimension. I do not like my layouts looking "flat." So when I'm using a lot of die cuts and stickers, I use foam squares and they work great!

​I layered the flowers onto a floral die cut using foam squares. I could use a few more of these babies! They were hard to use because I love them so much.

​I used some die cut labels at the bottom to help tell my story along with a tiny bit of journaling. I added some black watercolor ink platters and scribbled some ink here and there just for fun.

​These shades of candy colors are very inspiring. and combine perfectly with the "Buenos Dias" kit.

I created a super delicate layout coordinating with the mood board.
​This collection of Obed with American Craft is sensational.

For the background, I did overlays with the papers, nothing too straight.
Sewed it to give more detail to the layout. You can embroider by hand too, it looks beautiful.

I created two detail areas for this layout.
Each area has a separate pocket and over it I made the decorations.
