Hi friends, Theresa here with my first process video for you as part of the Clique Kits Creative Team! I am so excited to join this team and have a super fun travelers notebook layout to share with you. Lately I was wondering when my irises might bloom by my mailbox, and so I looked back at last year's photos. These were taken in August of last year, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to document them. You can see my process for creating these pages below. Hi sweet friends! So nice to see you again on our blog! I’m really excited to show you the December Highlights album I made. I used the beautiful seasonal kit Warm Wishes. What a stunning kit! Have you seen that star on the front cover? Those star embellishments are my absolute favorite! To make this album I used the mini cinch, such an easy and fun way to create albums! Normally I make a December Daily each year, but since I’ve got a very busy month in December this year, I decided to make it easy for myself and create a Highlights album, that way I can still document our traditions, but I don’t have to stress about photo’s every day… In fact the album is built from two smaller album inside the cover. I mirrored the left side album on the right side of the album. This creates a fun, different way to create an album. I created different pages on each side which makes it a album full of playfull pages. With the kit came a beautiful shaker mix, so I created several shaker elements in this album. I love shakers, it’s alway so fun and festive! And that deep red paper… isn’t is gorgeous?! I finished the cover with some dangles and pretty ribbon. Time to start adding those photo’s!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones, and hope you have a healthy and beautiful 2022. xoxo Petra Hi lovely Clique Friends! I love it when you visit our blog! Today I wanna share this cute mini album I made. As you might know by now, I love minis! For this mini I used the amazing Marrakesh kit. It’s sold out but the papers are still available! For the cover I used that stunning acetate… sigh… Minis are a great way to kill your kit! Play with the embellishments, dare to combine and layer and play with different page sizes! I used a journaling card as a page and the holes were my guide for the rest of the pages. I hope you got inspired and will get into the minis too! You’ll love it!
Let me see what you came up with in it Facebook group! Xoxo Petra Good morning friends! Nicole here with a cute mini album I created for my sister. Just recently, she had family pictures taken for my nephew, Henry's 2nd birthday celebration. As soon as she posted these photos, I snagged them and I knew immediately what papers I would use! I've been hoarding Heidi Swapp's patterned papers from the Carefree Collection for awhile now. We still have a few papers left in the shop! To begin, I cut two pieces of Jen Hadfield's specialty paper (transparency) to measure 4x4 to use as the front and back of the album cover. Next, I cut several pieces of patterned paper to measure 4x4. I used metal border dies and tags to create borders and a tag from the scraps. I fussy cut the butterflies from Amy Tangerine's paper to use as embellishments. Once I had all of my papers cut and my selection of embellishments, I started embellishing the pages. As you can see...you do not need a lot of embellishments to create a beautiful mini. Sometimes, all you need is pretty papers and some stickers! I used a Cinch to bind the album together. It's easier if you bind the album first before embellishing. That is what I did. When binding, the important thing to remember is to add the back page to the front of all of your pages so that once the album is binded, it holds the wire in the back nicely when you flip the first page to the back. Here are a few close-ups of the embellishments. Super simple, but beautiful! I used foam squares to add dimension. It makes such a big difference when layering embellishments. Do you enjoy making mini albums? I must admit, I don't make them as much as I used to...but I am working on changing that! Thank you so much for visiting today.
Hi Clique Friends! It's great to have you on the Clique blog again! Today I'm sharing a fun summer mini album. The inspiration was "on repeat" . On repeat means you can use anything you love multiple times, color, pattern, you name it! When I got the Summer Feels add on paper pack, I instantly knew I wanted to make a mini out of those tags! They are so cute! I made the box to hold the mini album from one sheet of paper. Nothing too complicated, a simple box. But, do you also love those fun bags the embellishments come in in some kits? I alway keep them. I lined the inside of the box with one of those bags. It holds the album nicely in place and it looks cute! So in a way, this is also a "don't throw me away" project. I never throw away those adorable bags, they are cute! I finished the album off with a lot of different ribbons, also something I never throw away. It always looks so fun and cute when you combine a whole bunch of ribbons of different color, size and texture. Have you seen all the fun ribbon we have in the shop? Too adorable! A fun easy album packed with summer memories! So much fun to make! I hope you got inspired to repeat whatever you love in your crafty gems! I can't wait to see them in our Facebook Group! Hello everyone!! It's Isa today on the blog and I am glad to be back here with a new project! For today's post I have created a mini album using the Buenos Dias Kit, which includes teh collection designed by Obed Marshall for American Crafts. You can find and purchase this kit here. For the cover I used some cardboard that I covered with patterned papers from the Buenos Dias collection. I fell instantly in love with the flowers from the die cuts set so it was a must for me to use them in the cover. The size of this mini album is similar to a traveller's notebook insert. I added two mint rings that come in the kit that belong to the collection. The combination of colors in them is amazing. On the inside pages I decided to use different designs in eash one. I have used the thickers to add some words, and also the sequins that are in the kit to add some shaker pages on the inside of the mini album. I have used even the cardstock that is part of the packaging of the die cuts because the gradient of colors is amazing. I also added a pocket, and some waterfall structure to add different designs on the inside. I added some cards that were included in the die cuts set and some acrylic decorations, puffy stickers that are included in the kit and everything combines perfectly well. I also added some sewing by making stripes of paper with one of the papers from the kit. I would say that this is my favourite page of the project because I love sewing in most of my scrapbooking projects. I have tried to add a bit of everything combined with the essence of this wonderful collection. I hope you like this project and I am thrilled that very soon I will be here with new inspirations and great projects with Clique Kits!! See you soon and take care!
Love, Isa Hello everyone!! How are you all doing? I hope you are doing ok and that you all stay at home safe and healthy! For today's post I want to show you a new mini album I have made using one of the new Kits that you can find on the shop, this time featuring one of the Pantone Colors. You can find this kit here. The particularity of this mini album is that the inside pages are all pockets, so when you document things in a mini album and you feel that you do not have enough space for all the pictures and journaling, the best option is this, to turn pages into pockets. In that way you also avoid making an enormous album with a big capacity. It is possible to have a small album with a big capacity. I have used all the papers in the kit to create the pages. The size of the page are aprox 3.5 inches x 6 inches. I decorated with some details I cut from the papers and I have also used the washi tape that is included in the kit. Inside the pockets what I have included are small cards with white cardstock and I have stamped some words using a Studio Forty stamp set. You can find this set in the shop here. To use the stamp set I have used also the Kit of the Clique Chromatics of the inks. I have to tell you, these inks are amazing!! The moment I tried them I fell in love with them!! And the colors are great! You can find the kit of inks here. To join all the pages I have used a waxed thread that was in the Clique Shop and I truly recommend it if you have to bind your albums, it is perfect to work with. And finally, for the cover I have used a die from Mintopia from the collection Imagine to create a shaker decoration for the cover. The sequins are from the Pantone set, as well as the hearts I cut from one of the papers of the set, the enamel dots (which I loved! especially the ones with volume) and the washi tape. To close the album I have used also the ribbon included in the kit. ![]() I hope you like the project and that the tip to have a mini with big capacity gives you the opportunity to store tons of good memories!! I hope to see you soon on the blog with new projects!! And I wait all of you on the Galentine's weekend!! It is going to be amazing!
Lots of love, Isa Hello everyone!! How are you doing? I hope everyone is doing great and that you stay healthy and at home. For today I want to show you a new project I made using the Paperinky collections which I like a lot! I have combined both collections that were in the Clique Kits shop, Metropolis and Milkmedia and I have made a Midori. To make the covers of the midori I have used a cardboard and then some cloth I had at home left from other projects that I made. I joined them and sewed, and then made a hole on each side of the spine to add the elastics later for the pages on the inside. For the inside pages, I have used mostly the papers of Metropolis and added a couple of pages of Milkmedia. Then I also used the paper of the Project Life cards and cut them to add them on the inside of the midori as some extra decorations. I have also used in some pages watercolor paper to add diferent details, and some washi tape stripe that I had from Altenew that I adore! I added some extra decorations with Studio Forty stickers and some enamel dots. Here you can see more pages. As the moment we are living now is not the best to travel we can always use these midoris or traveler's notebooks to document our life at home or during lockdowns that we may have in our correspondent countries. I hope you like the idea and the project!! Stay at home safe and healthy! I hope you like the project and I will be back soon with new things to show! Take care.
Lots of love, Isa Hello everybody!! It's Isa today on the blog and I am thrilled to present you a new project made with the Imagine collection by Wilma Rodriguez for Mintopia Studio. You can purchase the collection here. It's a wonderful collection, created for any scrap lover here and it does not miss any detail or scrapbook tool that we may need when creating our projects. The covers of this mini album are made with the acetate of the Imagine collection. For the spine I have used cardboard paper and one paper from the collection, and obviously one of the wonderful ribbons of the collection. They are one of the best complements that I have found to scrap in a very long time. Going on the inside of the mini album, I have to confess that I add a bit of everything! Tabs, torn paper, envelopes, pockets, buttons, everything with the embellishments of the collection. I even added a waterfall mini album inside! And each block of the album is a pocket so you can add extra pages or tags inside. As you can see, all the pages have different details and flaps to add pictures, and all of them are pockets for extra pictures. It is a project with a lot of space for lots of pictures! So I hope I have inspired you to create a mini album for tons of pictures and that you like the Imagine collection that is absolutely brilliant! I will see you soon on the blog with new ideas and projects! Take care and stay healthy. Love,
Isa Hello everyone!! First of all, I really hope that everyone is doing fine in this crazy world and that you are staying home safe and healthy. It's Isa today on the blog and I am so so so so happy and proud to present you a new project! I am thrilled also because I present this new project with one of the last Spanish scrapbooking collections that are on sale, Imagine by Mintopia Studio, designed by my beloved Wilma Rodriguez. The project that I have first made with it is a copta book. I love making them because they relax me a lot! It's a kind of project that I have been doing for some time now and I always try to make one copta book with all the collections I work with. It has become like some kind of ritual in my scrapbooking creative processes. As you can see in the pictures, I don't miss a thing when it comes to sew the spine! It is what I like the most about creating these books. Adding all kind of embellishments and beads, buttons... anything that can fit and combine! On the inside of the book I have used mostly all the patterned papers of the collection. For the covers what I do most of the times is to cut two pieces of wood (thin one) and then I paint it with acrylic paints. I always try to use a color that combines with the colors used on the collection I'm working with. For the cover I tend to use also die cuts and thickers from the collection. What I have used on the cover of this copta book are the alphabet from the Imagine collection, die cuts and the ribbon, which I think it's one of the best complements of this collection. You can Pre-Order the products of this collection and more items from the Mintopia brand here. Another interesting cool thing that I have used for this project are the new dies from this collection that are created for you to make shakers!! I just fell completely in love with them the moment I saw them. I have filled this little complement with the sequins from the same collection and the result is very cool! I hope you have enjoyed this project and that you try to practice this addictive copta books and work with the wonderful Imagine collection! See you soon! Lots of love!
