Hello Everyone, it is Piroska here today with my latest layout for Clique International. I hope you are all doing well! :-) Although it is already September, it is so warm in Hungary that I love to scrap about our summer memories. This time I chose a photo of the 3 of us, when we were the first time biking together for a longer distance at the Lake Balaton. I enjoyed it so much, and was pretty proud of my 7 years old daughter who was able to ride more than 7 kilometers for the first time, and many times and many more after that :-) I chose the Daydream Sampler Kit for my layout. The new collection of Cocoa Vanilla Studio is just gorgeous, it has such beautiful colours and many great embellishments! It is perfect for both spring or fall, and as you can see, for summer themes as well ;-) First I cut the Bicycle with Sunflowers cut file of AnettsDesigns from smooth white cardstock. I glued foam strips on the back of the cut file, so it has some dimension. I glued it on the Over the Rainbow paper. Then I fussy cut some flowers from the Garden Variety paper. This time I didn't want to have any white borders so I also cut out the inner white pieces with a cut knife - that wasn't easy, but it is worth the effect ;-) I matted my photo with some patterned papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad of the Daydream collection. I also fussy cut some butterflies from the smaller paper pad. Then I started to embellish my page. I came together quite quickly, I always enjoy working with beautiful and many embellishments! :-D
The Daydream Sampler Kit and the 6x8 paper pad is still available in the Clique International shop, so go and grab it! You won't regret it ;-)

Hi everyone! Nicole here. I created another layout using the Bean Bag Boys Kit. There are so many fun papers in this collection! And if you really love patterned paper, you can buy the 12x12 Bean Bag BoysPaper pack. My husband took these photos a few weeks ago of Edward feeding the momma duck and her babies. Edward told me all about them. He loves animals. To begin, I cut the flower patterned paper to measure 11"x11" and mounted it to the center of the red and white patterned paper. Then, I smeared white gesso all over the middle of the layout to cover some of the patterns. Once the gesso was completely dry, I layered lots of die cuts on this layout. Then to add dimension, I added a few enamel dots and jewels to the center of the flowers. The tag was made by hand with some patterned paper, ribbon, and a hole punch. Since I didn't really have anything for the title, I cut the "Awesome day!" die using my Silhouette and then colored it using a marker that matched the red in the flowers. Love how it looks here! Thank you for stopping by today!
Hi Everyone, it is Piroska here today with my latest layout for Clique International. Do you like watching stories? I like to start my day to sip my coffee and scrolling through IG stories. I like getting to know the people I follow a little bit better through that, and getting some news from different countries. One of my favourites is @bayourbori, who is Hungarian girl living with her family in Germany. She has posted a photo of a shop-window which inspired me to make this layout. I love how the shop-windows in Hamburg are installed, and there is always a message regarding to our crazy days of Covid-19. Like @bayourbori captured it here: The play on words catched my eyes and I decided to make a layout with that as a title. We've just started schoon on the 1st of September, and although the numbers of the infected are raising, we have to go in and teach/learn in a mask. It's a must, I know, but I have to admit, it is very hard to wear it 8 hours long and speak appr. 6 hours in it... It became a must-have accessoire nowadays, an absolute mask-have... I chose the Let"s Stay Home Sampler Kit for my layout. As my mask is blue I've been looking for a blue background paper. I decided to use the Around our Hood paper, and because I really liked the other side I didn't want to use the whole paper. I cut some strips from it and distressed the edges. I think the You Are Stronger paper of the Let's Stay Home Sampler Kit has some great messages, so I cut some strips from it and distressed the edges as well. And also fussy cut some scalloped borders and distressed it too. I wanted to use a white cardstock as a background but found it too plain. So changed it to a watercolour paper and got out my Prima Watercolours. I used some beautiful pastel colours that matched the colours of the Let's Stay Home Sampler Kit. I still found something is missing, so I used a stencil from my stash to create some more stripes with modelling paste. It backed my photo with some patterned paper, vellum and scalloped border strips. I added my title using both kind of alphabeths of the collection: the big blue alphas are in the Let's Stay Home Sampler Kit, and the smaller colourful ones in the Let's Stay Home Add-On Kit. I added some other embellishments using both kits: some eohemera of the Journaling Bits, chipboard flairs, fabric bows from the Let's Stay Home Sampler Kit. Having so many options for embellishing makes it easy to create. I like how it finally turned out, altough I have to admit, I ahd my struggles while creating :-P
We would be very happy if you would show us what you've created with this collection. Tag us so we can see it - maybe your work is going to be shared on the Clique International blog next time? ;-) Hi friends! Dana here today sharing the layout I created for the Clique International Stamp-tember Event which is happening in The Clique Facebook Group. There is a different stamping challenge posted each weekend of the month. All challenges are open until September 30th with prize winners for each. We'd absolutely love to have you join us! I used the Limited Edition Ciao Bella Wind Beneath My Wings Kit for this project, plus the Catherine Pooler Explore and Learn Series Flutter Bundle Kit and the Flora + Fauna More Stamp-tember Add-On Kit. All of these kits are currently on sale and only available while supplies last from the Clique Shop. I'm primarily a 12x12 scrapbooker. I have to admit that I don't use stamps and dies as much as I could because they are generally on the small side and are designed more for card making. I was thrilled when I received the Catherine Pooler Wings of Joy Stamp and Die Sets. This butterfly is stamp is over 5 inches across which means that it is a great size for use on 12x12 layouts. I love butterflies and recently snapped a photo of one that flew into my back porch last week. These stamps and dies were the perfect way to complement my photo. I used the stamps and dies together to make a layered butterfly embellishment that I designed after to gorgeous Vicki Boutin stickers in the Wind Beneath My Wings Kit. Dimensional Butterfly Embellishment Tutorial Step 1: Spray a piece of watercolor paper with water. Press the Catherine Pooler Minis onto a craft mat to release some ink onto the work surface. Use a water brush to pick up the ink and spread it onto the wet watercolor paper. Blend and splatter the ink onto the paper until it is covered. Let dry. Step 2: Use the Catherine Pooler Wings of Joy Butterfly Die to cut a butterfly from the watercolor paper. Set aside. Step 3: Apply Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink onto the Wings of Joy Butterfly Stamp and press onto a piece of vellum. Let dry. Step 4: Use the Catherine Pooler Wings of Joy Butterfly Die to cut the stamped butterfly from the vellum. Step 5: Use a permanent gold pen to color the body of the vellum butterfly. Attach the vellum butterfly to the watercolor butterfly base using a piece of 3D Foam. Bonus Butterfly: Use the Flora + Fauna Delicate Butterfly Die to cut a piece of patterned paper and a piece of vellum. Apply adhesive to the patterned paper butterfly body, line up the vellum butterfly die-cut over the top, and press to attach. Fold the vellum wings up towards the center of the butterfly body to separate the wings, creating a 3D embellishment. ![]() I couldn't resist using the rest of the stamps in the kits. I'm a patterned paper addict and I rarely use cardstock, so I used the stamps from the kits on top of my patterned papers to add additional prints to this page. The Catherine Pooler Minis work great with stencils! I sponged Fiesta Blue Ink over a stencil to add more butterflies to the background of this layout. I created my own file folder from patterned paper, cardboard, and washi tape. I used both of the small Flora + Fauna stamp sets to add a pretty bright blue flower print to the paper. I wanted to add a contrasting color to the background of my layout to offset the blue. I would usually use a stencil and texture paste for this effect, but used the dot cluster stamp from the Catherine Pooler Wings of Joy Stamp Set instead with the Catherine Pooler Minis Rockin' Red Ink. I love the look! I feel like I should make a note here and mention that the red ink is more of a dark pink. The Wind Beneath My Wings Kit contains paper flowers but doesn't have any leaves. I used two of the small leaf stamps from the Catherine Pooler Wings of Joy Stamp Set with the Catherine Pooler Minis Grass Skirt Ink to add small leaves around each of the paper flowers on this layout. I used one of the sentiments from the Catherine Pooler Wings of Joy Stamp Set to make a small title for the layout. I also added a small sentiment along the bottom of the page that I made from the Kesi'art Thanks Die Set. I hope I have inspired you to use dies and stamps to create large embellishments. And, if you're a cardstock lover, I hope I have opened your eyes to the possibilities of stamping on patterned paper! I'd love to see your take on this challenge so please upload your project in The Clique Facebook Group by the end of the month for your chance to win a prize!

Join us in the Clique Facebook group tomorrow for a brand new Stamptember challenge! Hi crafty friends! Rita here today to share some cards I made using the Pinkfresh Studio ''Let's Stay Home' Sampler and Add-On kits. I wanted to show you how versatile these products are and a lot of them are even suitable for cardmaking. I'm not a cardmaking pro. I often just go with the flow and see where it leads me. For this challenge I just used the products from the Kits, no dies or extras. So if you have the kit(s), you only need some scissors and a glue stick. I used the 6x6 paper pad for the background (I still had some cardstock cards from American Crafts left, but you can fold your own with cardstock), the Alpha stickers, some enamel dots which are included in the Add-On Kit, some diy bows and chipboard flair. When you look closely you'll notice that a lot of the papers from the 'Let's Stay Home' collection are pretty neutral, so that's why I chose my three papers. A floral one, a striped one and the one with the hearts. The first card was probably the quickest to make. I cut apart the rainbow paper (from the 6x6 paper pad) and glued it on the striped patterned paper. Then I cut apart a floral and positioned them right along the rainbow. Two floral puffy stickers were added, aswell as a diy bow. Voila! For the second card I made a tag (you can use a die or cut it by hand) and combined it with a floral frame (from the Ephemera pack). Again I used a floral, chipboard flair, a diy bow and some alpha stickers. I love how the musical notes compliment the sentiment. A leftover paper stripe was added in the end to complete the composition. Here I cut the blue checkered journaling card (from the Sampler Kit) apart and glued it to the patterned paper. I put the letters on a white cardstock and cut it to the right size so it would fit perfectly in between the journaling card. I used the floral from the ephemera pack, a diy bow, some enamel dots and puffy stickers. Again, so quick and easy! I hope you feel inspired to use these beautiful kits. You can find them here:

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing the mini album I created using the Limited Edition Bad Girls Couture and Clique International Bliss Kit and Add-On. This kit is so gorgeous! I have to be honest here and admit that I was a little hesitant to create with these materials. I spread this kit out on my craft table, looked at all the pretty contents, and then packed it back up several times before I actually started cutting into the supplies.
Once I made that first cut I could not stop! I wanted to use every last bit of this kit and I didn't even come close. I embellished both sides of each page to the max. This album is so full that it lays open on the table, which I absolutely love. What is more inviting that an open album? If you're a tactile crafter like me, you will love the different textures in this kit.
I started this project by painting around the edges of every cardstock page. The Bad Girls Couture Haute Mess Matte Acrylic Paint from the Add-On Kit is fast drying and thick, so I only needed one quick coat of paint for full coverage. Next, I layered patterned paper, ephemera, and trim onto each page. To add more color and texture to each page, I mixed the acrylic paint with Bad Girls Couture Molding Paste, and then applied the mixed medium over 6x6 stencils. I didn't have photos that would complement these supplies, so I decided to add some of my favorite song lyrics to each page. I flipped through my song lyrics rolodex (stop by my blog for a link to that project) and typed up the 40 that really spoke to me. I am usually inspired by song lyrics when creating. I think it offers a great snapshot of my mood at a given time. I'm positive that if I sat down with a fresh album the lyrics I pull to include on the fresh pages would be totally different. Once I added the lyrics to each page, I stuck on fussy cuts, rhinestones, and glass beads.
The last thing I embellished was the album cover. The Maggie Holmes beaded flowers are so pretty. I added rhinestones to several of the pink flower centers on the fabric for a touch of sparkle.
I thought a quick video flip through of this album would be better than scrolling through 40 photos. Enjoy! Clique International Supplies: Bliss Limited Edition Kit Bliss Limited Edition Add-On Other Supplies: Computer Generated Song Lyrics; Cardstock Frames: CGD Studios; Molding Paste: Bad Girls Couture; Safety Pins; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L Hi everyone today I have a fun 8.5x11 inch layout using the gorgeous Go the Scenic Route ( All. The. Paige. Evans ) kit to share with you! I have many quotes that are not only meaningful to me but also guide me through out my life journey. The quote I have used on my layout is my mantra especially in regards to my profession as a mental health nurse but I hope I can be that 'somebody' in my everyday life too! I have used a cut file to create the clip boards, cutting them in a gold glitter flocked paper. Framing my quote seemed just as important as a photo (I really struggle to use a photo of me but for this layout it seemed only appropriate). I created my background by cutting numerous strips at different sizes, added machine stitching and then folded and bended them to give it more texture. Before adding embellishments and the clip board frames I added some light mixed media to add more visual interest. I added the quote clip board frame with foam tape and the second one with my photo with double sided tape but added my photo with foam tape. I like to add height to my layouts and it is allows you to add elements under and over (it also gives you creative room to improvise as you go along). On smaller sized layouts getting the right balance requires a little more thought and it is more often about the smaller details than anything. Although this kit is a travel themed collection it certainly can be used in a variety of ways, it is a beautiful collection with vibrant colours, bold patterns and multi use embellishments. I enjoyed putting this layout together and I didn't keep it neat and ordered like I usually do, my creative mood was this!
Head over to the www.cliquekits.com shop to view this and all the other new kits available! Thank you for stopping by today and I hope my layout and its theme has given you a prompt to create your very own Inspired by layout! Hello scrappy friends! Nicole here and today I'm sharing two spreads in my art journal that feature the composition book and mist available in the Dina Wakley Explore & Learn Series Kit available in the shop! This kit includes one of Dina's composition books with prints of her artwork, a white Gloss Spray and her Scribble Sticks! My first spread (left) uses a silhouette from the book along with scribble sticks and a few of the dylusions acrylic paints. I also used some markers from my stash to add highlights of purple, black and pink to the figure. Once dry, I added loose writings to the left of the page us phrases like "be happy," "be trustworthy," "be open," "be creative." etc. Just a few as a reminder of who I want to be as a person. The second page (right) uses the heavier weight paper in the composition book and I used it to add in an insert to my journal. For this page, I used a stencil and Vicki Boutin Molding Paste that are available in the Explore & Learn Series: Basic Textures kit. The floral image was a cut out from a magazine that I have and I added highlights with markers after it was adhered to the page. This helps add more dimension and it takes away from the natural look, which is what I was going for. It helps the image feel more cohesive with Dina's art work. Here are a few other close ups of my pages. You'll see that I ended up creating a pocket behind the left page (by gluing two pages together) and added one of Dina's tags from her composition book. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you've been inspired! Hello everyone! It's Isa today on the blog and I am thrilled to present you a new project I made with a Spanish collection. I have used the Abril collection from Lora Bailora. You can find the collection here. For today's post, I have made a scraplift from one of the members of our Clique community. It is amazing to see how talented all the people are!! Scrapbook gets the best of everyone! I have made a scraplift from Valeska Guimaraes. When I saw her layout I fell in love with it immediately!! You can see it in the picture below. In the case of my layout, I have made a background with some Distress Oxide. I love using them a lot!! I have used also de metallic dies from the collection and I have cut some flowers and branches with my Big Shot and I have used the papers of the Abril collection by Lora Bailora. I have used also die cuts of flowers and puffy stickers as in the original layout there are tons of flowers For the title of the project I have used for words from the Unforgettable kit that you could find also in The Clique Kits shop. It is great how you can combine different elements from different kits. To finish I have added some enamel dots, also from the Abril collection. I hope you like this layout with a picture of the new "me"; and I will be back very very soon with new projects!! Keep on creating and take care of yourselves. Lots of love.
