Hi crafty friends, Jody here with a flower explosion layout! I was inspired by the beautiful colors from the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Indigo Garden die cuts included in the Assateague Base Kit. To go with my floral inspiration I also used the Card Background digital cut file to make a shaker of the entire page! Please take a look at how it came together right here!

Hello Clique friends!
I'm so happy to be here with you. I love sharing with you new inspirations with the beautiful kits from Clique International.

Today I want to share with my last layout with the amazing Base Kit Asheville. I'm a huge fan of Maggie Holmes style, love every collection she makes, and if you like it too, you will love this kit. The Round Trip collection is the highlighted, but also have beautiful papers from Jen Hadfield (that I love too!).
The color palette is one of my favorite. There is a lot of shades of blue, beautiful flowers and everything about trip!! Awesome, right?!

I chose the Bo Bunny paper for my background and then I cut three strips of papers in 3 inches each one. I distressed the edges a little bit on paper blue and yellow, and in the flower paper, I exaggerated and curled the edges well, to give more dimension and volume to my page. I glued the three strips on the middle horizontally.

Decorating my page is one of my favorite parts. It is so difficult sometimes to choose between beautifully ephemeras and embellishments. But everything came together with these amazing pack of die cuts from Round Trip collection. I love using 3D foam stickers to glue the die cuts, the final result is amazing when you see it in layers.

As for documenting my day, I chose two photos of my trip to Chantilly, France. One with me and my husband, and another one just with the landscape. I love the pieces in vellum that came with this pack. You can use vellum over the photos, and it gives a really nice effect because of its transparency.

Better together layout | Tânia

For this week I’m sharing with you a layout that I've made using Antique Garden collection. It´s a vintage vibes collection and I’m in love with it.

One thing that I like of being in a design team is that I challenge myself to create and if you read me since my first post you know that layouts were a kinda of a “thing” for me but at this point I just do it easily and I keep making it adding something "new".

I overlapped two different papers which I do all the time in art journaling but not that much in scrapbook pages. It’s a cool way to add some dimension into our projects and I was completely inspired by my dt friends that do LO often.

Actually… this time my only problem was to pick one photo to use haha 😊 All the elements go lovely together so you won’t have any difficulty mixing colours. Obviously, I add some easy textures to my background with a 12’X12’ Stencil and some stamps. for both used the same ink pad (I stencil the image using a brush). Final touch were all the splashes made with my shadow-mei palette.

Thought twice in keeping the “Bloom” letters, my first idea was to tear the paper above it chose to embrace and in the end I even drew a black line all over.

I really hope you feel inspired with my project to create yours.

Lovely Day layout | Sarah Wyles

Good morning everyone! I hope your week has been going good. This morning I wanted to share a layout I made of 3 of my fur babies. These pups have just been chilling around the house, not really wanting to go outside much since it's been so hot lol. So of course I had to snap some pictures and make a layout. I thought that the Seasonal Wildflower kit and the Modern Documenter kit | Wildflower documenter would be perfect for this layout.

I had printed my pups photos as 2x2 squares and pulled paper from the kit that I thought would work. I wanted something bright and with a little pattern. This kit has vellum and acetate in it and I wanted to make sure to use some of those as well. Once I had pulled the papers I thought I wanted to use, I went to cutting them down to the same size as my photos, so that I could make a grid type layout.

I played with where I wanted my photos to lay in the grid and once I decided on the diagonal, I started to play with the mix of 2x2 patterned squares I had already cut out. I added a little adhesive to the back of the patterned papers, acetate and vellum, just enough to keep them in place while I ran them through my sewing machine. After running those through my machine I added my photos back in and pulled out the ephemera and fun bits from the kit.

I pulled different little bits from the kits, some tags, cut a parts, hearts and a little house. I went to playing with the way I wanted them on my layout, tucking a tag behind my photo, layering a tab with a scalloped border piece. Once I had gotten them all where I wanted them I decided to run my layout through my sewing machine again and add a little more texture.

I like the way my layout was looking, but thought there was a bit to much white. I knew I didn't want to do anything drastic, I had added my journaling about my pups in the back already, so I thought that I would just add a teal border, since it matched the color in some of the papers and call it good. I did that, made it a little off kilter and then ran my layout through my sewing machine again and called this layout good.

Rainbow Sherbet Sampler | Happy Little Moments | Rachel Lowe

Have you seen the new sampler kit Rainbow Sherbet? It is absolutely gorgeous and a must have! To see that is in this kit click here cliquekits.com/clique-chromatics-rainbow-sherbet-sampler/ and here is my first project.

I firstly used a sunflower stencil cliquekits.com/search.php?search_query=stencil available from the store using cliquekits.com/pearl-white-stencil-butter-the-crafters-workshop/ stencil butter which adds wonderful texture. Once dry I blended yellow ink over the sunflowers, making the centres darker.

This layout has lots of layers, three layers of torn paper, fabric, border strips. die cuts and wash tape stamps. There is a wonderful co ordinating add on kit also cliquekits.com/clique-chromatics-add-on-sherbet-swatches/ which includes the fabric role, washi and more! At this point I added some machine stitching in white to add more texture to my layers.

I next made a tag pocket using vellum which I embellished and added a tag from the die cuts. This allows me to add some hidden journalling.

I chose blues and greens to work with my yellow sunflowers. I added my photo with foam tape leaving the fabric piece to 'mat' my photo. I finished with some splashes of white paint. This is such a happy layout with lots of details to look at but easy enough to scrap lift. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful and creative week!

Well hello my lovely Clique family! Michelle here! I have to tell you, this week I was in a bit of a funk and not feeling like doing much craftiness but I did feel like doing some print making. I've recently enjoyed using my gel plate to make fun prints to use in various mixed media projects and in my journals so this week it seemed like a comfort for me to reach for it when I felt that block in my creativity.

In all honesty I was really just loosening up and making a mess and really just trying to see if I could use Stencil butter on it LOL! These pictures were just taken to send to a friend to show her the crafty mess I was making! BUT, in the spirit of finding beauty in it all, I did indeed find a print I loved and it made the perfect background for my page! So let me tell you how I did it!

Like I mentioned, I started off with my Gelli Plate. You can get the starter kit or just the plate but if you are new to it I'd recommend the kit so you get the brayer and a few things to get you going. I squirted a few dabs of the pink paint on the gelli plate and rolled the brayer over it to spread it well. Next I pressed my Simple Stories floral heart stencil onto the wet paint and then placed my paper on top and pressed, applying light even pressure before pulling my paper up. I removed the stencil and made more prints from the excess paint left on the plate. The impressions weren't great because it wasn't a very cut out stencil but I continued to work with it. Next I applied the gold Stencil Butter on to the gelli plate with a palette knife. I was really not sure how this was going to work but still I proceeded, figuring how can we go wrong with gold?! LOL. I also took the tip of my palette knife and drew some cross doodles in the wet stencil butter for extra interest (my palette knife was plastic, I don't recommend doing this with anything sharp that could damage your gelli plate). I then repeated the process of laying my paper down, pressing and applying light even pressure before pulling the print up. I was actually really pleased with the abstract prints it made.

I wasn't quite done with stenciling, I also added some stenciling with some black stencil butter along the side and once all the wet medium was dry I got to work on embellishing my fun page!

I worked with papers and embellishments from the Lady Whistedown kit. Inspired by a page our fellow team mate, Giorgia, I cut out some of the beautiful colorful butterflies and stitched them up the side to anchor the page. But I also wanted a contrast so I used some of the black and white die cuts up and arranged them in sort of a flight pattern over the gelli print paper area.

Finally I added my title work with anther die cut and a Tim Holtz label sticker.

And just like that I created something beautiful and fun...even while in a bit of a funk.

So today I hope you lean on what you love and look to those who inspire you...to create something beautiful.

"Bloom" layout | Giorgia Rossini

Hello there! Giorgia here today on the Clique Blog with a new project.
I'm here this morning to share a layout with my favorite kits from the new addiction to the shop: SAMPLER KIT | K AND COMPANY ANTIQUE GARDEN and ANTIQUE GARDEN EMBELLISHMENT KIT.
They are full of romantic, girly, soft tone patterned and designs and I just couldn't help myself from using them on a layout about my little girl (here she was even more little!).
Both kits features flowers, butterflies, birds... I am in love!!

The background paper I used was just perfect as it was: a greenery flowery frame to contain the picture and a big romantic title on the bottom.

For this layout I wanted to try something that I don't use so often: stencil and paste.
In the Clique shop there are many stencils and these great paste called "butters" that have a magnific texture that add dimensions to the background.
They are great for mixed media projects or, as in this layout, to add a little dimension to your project.
Also if you aren't quite really into mixed media, like me, you should give them a try, because I am sure you will really like them!
They are really easy to use and they have such great colors! I used LIME GREEN STENCIL BUTTER | THE CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP with a leaves stencil, because they really were just perfect for my project's theme.

I am in love with this pale pink flower that is included in BASE KIT | ASHEVILLE and also with the epoxy frames in ANTIQUE GARDEN EMBELLISHMENT KIT... oh, the romance!

"Love" layout for Clique August challenge | Giorgia Rossini

Hello there! Giorgia here today to keep you company with my take on our current challenge: every month on the Clique International Facebook group we host a new challenge for you where you could win a voucher for the store.
This month moodboard is a triumph of beautiful colors, that seems taken from the color palette in Sampler kit- Rainbow Poppies, that happens to be my currently favorite kit :D
So I grab it and fussy cut the stunning flower wreath on one of the papers.

I adhered the wreath on a Vicki Boutin paper from this kit, that has the same colors in the same order!
I used foam tape to make it pop from the background.
For the title I used the alpha from SAMPLER KIT | K AND COMPANY ANTIQUE GARDEN because it was just perfect with all those branches and flowers.

I embossed wood veneer butterflies with sparkle embossing powder from ADD-ON KIT | WINTER EMBOSSING POWDERS | HERO ARTS

I love to add sparkling gems and sequins to my projects and here I matched their colors to the flower colors.

Hi sweet Clique friends,
Have you seen the Wonderful Wycinanki Limited Edition Kit? It's a real gem!!! There is so much stuff in it, it's awesome!
I chose to feature the sublime Prima Redesign Transfers in a layout where they take center stage.

On a white cardstock, I applied Prima transfers. They are very easy to use and have a perfect quality. I carefully cut out the designs I was interested in and adhered them centered on my page background.

I then cut out pieces from the So Lovely paper strips from the Cherish collection by Photoplay and sewed them into the center of my page.

Then I added my photo. The Cherish by Photoplay collection in the kit is family themed. It was perfect for this photo of my mom and girls.

I used the stickers from the 12x12 sheet in the kit as embellishments and a title.
I added volume by using 3D foam.

I hope you enjoyed this layout. I'm thrilled to have shared my crush on this Wonderful Wycinanki Limited Edition Kit.
