Hello crafty friends! Rita here with a new layout using all beautiful goodies from the Clique International shop. I will link all the products (and similar kits) below, so you can check them out for yourself. I used the Watermelon Sugar Modern Documenter Kit and the Lazy Days paper pack to make this layout. I also made a sketch with Procreate for you, so you can easily make your own version. It's a simple but lovely composition and works for one or multiple photos. As you can see on the sketch the photo is "framed" with different patterned papers. To make the layout more interesting I included a horizontal line, made with a stencil and structure paste. You can also use watercolor, acrylic paint, vellum etc. I chose a black and white photo to make the colors of all the papers and frames pop. I used a stencil by Maggie Holmes from the "Garden Party" collection (from the sold out Versailles Kit) and only applied the structure paste on both sides (and not behind the photo!), so it wouldn't get too bulky. ![]() Another detail I really like are the white enamel stickers on the borders of the patterned paper which correspond harmonically to the white background. I hope you like my layout and sketch and feel inspired to make your own version of it. Don't forget to tag us on social media if you share your work. We always love to see what you create. Thanks so much for stopping by today and happy crafting!

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a scrapbook layout that I created with the last of my Prima Marketing Nature Lover Kit. I was down to a handful of patterned paper scraps and some embellishments. The only full sheet of patterned paper I had was the black and gold foiled paper. This paper is absolutely gorgeous, but black backgrounds are not in my design wheelhouse. To help tone down the dark paper, I placed the Heidi Swapp Carefree Specialty Paper over top. The beautiful foiled design peeks though the die-cut sections of the paper for just the right amount of black for contrast. This photo of my nieces and nephews was taken on my nephew's Bar Mitzvah and I thought that using the rainbow specialty paper upside down made the cutouts look more like menorahs. There aren't any rules in scrapbooking and I frequently use paper in different orientations for a more unique design. I brought in more gold both under the photo with matting, and on top with a gold glittered heart. The Swiss Dot Rayon Seam Binding added some whimsy to my design and also helped to cover the seam of the pieced together pieces of striped patterned paper. Clique International Supplies: Prima Marketing Nature Lover Sampler Kit Heidi Swapp Carefree Specialty Paper Map of the Forest Limited Edition Kit Swiss Dot Rayon Seam Binding With some of my leftover embellishments from the Prima Marketing Nature Lover Sampler Kit and the NEW 49 and Market Map of the Forest Limited Edition Kit, I was able to complete a couple more pages in my Field Notebook. The rub-ons and chipboard embellishments from this kit were just perfect to document my hike through a nearby forest. The rub-ons are thick enough to easily apply over photos and die-cut embellishments. If you're looking to stretch the life of the kits in your stash be sure to visit the New In and Bestsellers Section of the Clique Shop.

Sanjana here with my latest post for the Clique Kits Design Team. This layout was a bit challenging for me as I had to recreate a sketch which is very rare for me to do so. But luckily I found this beautiful sketch by Lisa Truesdell in the Studio Calico website. I recreated the sketch using the beautiful Obed Marshall “Buenos Dias” collection by American Crafts and loved the way it turned out. Here are some close ups of my layout. And please don't forget to check out the process video for this layout linked below.. Thank You so much for stopping by. Good morning friends! Nicole here with a cute mini album I created for my sister. Just recently, she had family pictures taken for my nephew, Henry's 2nd birthday celebration. As soon as she posted these photos, I snagged them and I knew immediately what papers I would use! I've been hoarding Heidi Swapp's patterned papers from the Carefree Collection for awhile now. We still have a few papers left in the shop! To begin, I cut two pieces of Jen Hadfield's specialty paper (transparency) to measure 4x4 to use as the front and back of the album cover. Next, I cut several pieces of patterned paper to measure 4x4. I used metal border dies and tags to create borders and a tag from the scraps. I fussy cut the butterflies from Amy Tangerine's paper to use as embellishments. Once I had all of my papers cut and my selection of embellishments, I started embellishing the pages. As you can see...you do not need a lot of embellishments to create a beautiful mini. Sometimes, all you need is pretty papers and some stickers! I used a Cinch to bind the album together. It's easier if you bind the album first before embellishing. That is what I did. When binding, the important thing to remember is to add the back page to the front of all of your pages so that once the album is binded, it holds the wire in the back nicely when you flip the first page to the back. Here are a few close-ups of the embellishments. Super simple, but beautiful! I used foam squares to add dimension. It makes such a big difference when layering embellishments. Do you enjoy making mini albums? I must admit, I don't make them as much as I used to...but I am working on changing that! Thank you so much for visiting today.
