Hello everyone, Jasmin here with a 9x12 Layout using the Regatta Main Kit. Alphas as Background! I love white Alphabet stickers. There are so many possibilities. You can colour it , apply it on colourful Paper or use it as a Background. I chose the latter and glued it on a white Cardstock. At first I was worried that the stickers would not be enough, but there are so many. There are even some left over. i added my Picture in the Middle and layered embellishments at the bottom of the Picture. The tags are from the Traveler Notebook Kit. I immediately fell in love with these little floating tires and he found a place on my layout. too sweet. Thanks for stopping by.
I hope I could inspire you!

Hello Lovelies, Theresa here with a Product Focus layout for you! I was so excited to learn that alphabets were our product focus for the month of July, because the Regatta kit has an amazing set! Here is what I did with those alphas. I absolutely love an alphabet set that gives you different fonts and lots of individual letters, so you can build a full title. I thought these alphas would go perfect with the Waves cut file so I cut that out, grabbed my photo and alphas, and a few of my favorite Heidi Swapp Shine sprays. Time to get creative. Using cut files as stencils is a fun way to get more mileage, and whenever I do this I use card stock that I might not otherwise use. Pick any color, it really does not matter. Then I always take my cut file, sprays, and the actual background outside and spray my paint. For this layout I masked off three portions in a sort of ombre effect. Once the background was sprayed and had time to dry, I laid out my title using the waves of the cut file as my guide. My title is a quote from a Katie Melua song that goes: "If you were a sailboat I would sail you to the shore." This is a favorite song of mine, and felt perfect to use with the theme of the Regatta kit and tells a story about how I feel about my husband Alan. After I laid out the title, I wasn't exactly sure if the alphabet popped enough, so I outlined each letter using a Tombow marker. I had a little anxiety doing that, I will admit, so I held my breath, said a prayer, and I think it worked out perfectly. Take the risk in your layouts, friends! You will be so glad you did! In the end, I really loved how it turned out. It gives that whole wavy feeling and it tells this story about how two people are going through the ups and downs of life together in a very graphic and visual way. Interestingly enough, the photo is a random selfie we took at the Dixie Classic Fair in Winston Salem, NC last year. I have layered it onto some of the bits and pieces of patterned papers from the kit so that I could incorporate other colors into the layout. The reds and yellows are a fantastic contrast to the blues and greens of the background. And these bows are a must-have, friends! I also was incredibly infatuated with this little anchor, so I added a bit of red yarn, tied it around the anchor, and stapled it into place using my Tiny Attacher from Tim Holtz. This actually balances the red at the bottom of the page, and tells your eye to start right at the top. Here is one more look at this fun, wavy layout! How are you using your alphabets this month? We would love to see, so be sure to share and tag us on Instagram. Thank you for joining me today. Happy Creating! Hello, friends! It's Donna here with a fun and simple layout to share using the June "Horizon" Main Kit. It mainly features Bella Blvd, Simple Stories, Pebbles Inc as well as a bit of American Crafts, Pretty Little Studio and of course, exclusive CK cut files, printables and flairs. Since it's Product Focus week, I used the alphas to create my title which happens to be what's written on the front of my daughter's dress in the photo. First, I sprayed and splattered different colors of mists/paints on the white cardstock before adhering the yellow patterned paper mounted on foam tapes. To make the square sun rays, I traced a small circle where I will place my photo and drew lines to create sun rays. I spaced them a bit to let the background show through. Then, I trimmed the edges about an inch off each sides. ![]() I added a doily and some messy thread and layered/clustered embellishments around the photo. I glued down the alphas as seen here and embellished the bottom with a few pieces of fussy cut florals. And to finalize the layout, I scattered the itty bitty sticker word arts the layout.

I'm Carlitos! a 15-year-old Chilean boy who makes Scrapbook! as you could see a few months ago in the presentation of Clique Kits ambassador! I am one of them and this month I will be with you accompanying you on the blog with two beautiful projects made with the July kit Regatta. I hope you like my style and can be inspired by the projects that I will present to you. For my first post on the blog I have proposed to make a mini album, which is the type of project that I love, with a simple, practical and easy structure. In this case it is made only with cardboard and a sheet of 12 x 12 " Below I will show each of the photographs with the details I have prepared for you. First, start with a basic structure for all mini albums, cardboard covered with white cardboard and then to form the cover stick scrapbook paper and then put a phrase accompanied by some die cuts. Also to give a special touch paste decorated paper on the spine and the back cover. Then I formed the interior structure of the album with a 12 "paper and added it to the cardboard structure, later to decorate one of the cards (fun in the sun) that came in the kit and paste it on the back cover with 3D glue . Later in the interior decorate simply with die cuts and four photographs, as shown below Just to tell you, use a lot of 3D glue to give it a special touch and at the same time give another dimension to each of the decorations. As part of the story this album is complemented with photographs of one of the walks to a beach very close to my city "Constitution" that contains some beautiful giant rocks. As a curious fact in Chile to the south, where I live the beaches are black sand LOL. Finally this is the result! I hope you love them and can see my next project here the blog!
If you like my scrapbook style or want to know more about me then I will leave you my social networks! Greetings Girls! Instagram: @_Carlitos_Roco_ Blog: Niño Scrapero <3 Youtube: Niño Scrapero. Hi Clique friends Rachel here with a layout that has a 'story' focus. Of course I used my gorgeous summer July kit Regatta. I started off with a circle grid cut file which I them filled, each being a mini feature. I wanted to document my youngest finally letting go of his fear and my hand into the ocean. I typed my story and used one of the die cuts to title it. Next I paper backed all but one of the circles choosing different papers so I could make a different feature of each. As you can see I created the sun in the top circle, then the ocean and then the fishes, so my layout had a sense of order with the elements. The flamingo and water melon were added just because I love them! I finished up adding small features like adding the flip flops, tucking them under the photo circle, adding chipboard word sentiments, NUVO drops to the die cut splashes, and sub titles such as the hello summer rubber sentiment and chipboard word splash.
The Regatta kit is so perfect to create fab summer layouts and adding a story to this layout makes it 'more' than just a summer layout! Thank you for stopping by and see you again soon. Hello everyone! |
