Hi scrappy friends! Nicole here and today I'm sharing a 12x12 layout using the June Sweet Tea Kits! In this layout, I'm using bits and pieces from several of the kits. A lot of my layouts lately have been very bright and colorful, so with this kit, it was a nice turn to the softer pinks and blues! For the background, I simply dry brushed using the Haute Mess acrylic paints in Last Sin (blue) and Broken Doll (pink) that are available in the mixed media kit. Once dry, I trimmed 1/2" all the way around my white cardstock so I could layer the patterned paper behind it. I also used both the white and gold doilies layered together behind my photos. For my journaling, I raised the card with "live in beauty" up on foam adhesive and tucked in a pink library card from the ephemera pack behind it, which included my journaling. Lastly, I added my date to a label sticker and a few stickers to the bottom of my layout. Thanks so much for joining me today! I've hope you've been inspired to create something beautiful!

Hello friends. Today I show you my second layout created with the June Kit. First, I plotted a globe on pink cardstock and placed it in the Middle. For the decoration I used only stickers and a pink flower. The G stands for Gmunden. A beautiful village in Austria. For the contrast I used a strip of green Patterned Paper. That's it. Pretty simple I hope you like it!
Hello Friends! Maryám here with you today to share a new layout using the June Kits. For today's project, I used a branch cut file from Paige Evans which I cut out from Goldenrod Summer Trail's paper using my Silhouette Cameo and stitched around it with embroidery thread following the colors of the paper. Since I was using a photo I took from a beautiful sunset and it had a tree on the left, I wanted to try to do the same on my layout, so I positioned the branch I stitched before on the right side of my page and added some Prima Marketing flowers to add more dimension and interest. Next, I added some layers using a couple of patterned papers from the kit and created a tag to balance the design. I added Sunset using the Dear Lizzy Thickers and put my journaling under my photo. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you liked this project and don’t forget that if you have any questions just leave a comment below. I’ll be really happy to help you.
Have a wonderful day! Hi CK friends today I have my second share using the gorgeous June Kit Sweet Tea. This layout has a travel theme inspired by the globe sticker embellishment and the colours of this kit which went perfectly with the photos of my daughter when we travelled to Istanbul Turkey. These polaroids are actually a cut file (from Silhouette Design Store) but if you don't have a cutting machine you can hand cut the frames and arrange in a similar way. I firstly chose my photos and placed them opposite of each other. I then set about embellishing the other frames. The prima flowers in this kit and I had to add a peach coloured one in keeping with them hues of this layout. I added my title under my second photo using one of the words from the alphas in the kit, the gold beautiful against the peach hues. I created a scene on this frame, fussy cutting from the scenery paper, adding a puffy sticker bike finished off with a sticker stamp and word sentiment. I added the globe sticker with foam tape to create dimension, the same with the two small heart stickers. To finish off my layout I added the pretty floral die cut, tucking it under the globe. I love how this travel themed layout turned out and this design allows you the scope to add multiple photos, which is often needed for travel photos.
Thank you for stopping by and I will see you again later in the month with a tag flip album using the Sweet Tea kit. Hello crafty friends! Rita here again to share my second project using the June Kit. This time I made a 12x12'' layout, using the „Fun in the Sun“ Cut File from Clique Kits. I cut it out on a white cardstock and backed it with one of Pinkfresh Studio's patterned paper (from the „Joyful Day“ collection) which was in the Kit. On the right side I used strips from the „Seek Magic“ paper from the latest „Dear Lizzy“ collection and fussycut some flowers (from another "Dear Lizzy" paper). I really love to combine all the different patterns, and in everyone of them there is a little pink. For my photos I used the Instax photo frames. And yay, they are also pink! For the final touch I used some stickers from the 1canoe2 "Goldenrod" collection and the Prima Marketing flowers. I hope you feel inspired by this layout to make your own, using this beautiful June Kit! Happy crafting and thanks for stopping by!
Hi everyone! Nicole here and today I have my first layout using the June Sweet Tea kits! I've been in a very watercolor state of mind lately, which shows a lot in this layout! With all of the fun and bright yellows and oranges, it was really hard not to! LOL! Here's a look at my completed project: This was definitely one of those layouts where I wanted to use "all the things!" I love those mirrored cherries and those puffy stickers....gah! I began by sorting thru all of the ephemera and took out everything lemon and lime related. I knew I wanted to use small pops of the lemon lime paper and wanted a few bits to coordinate. I chose the lemon that says "squeeze the day" because it described my photo perfectly! However, I felt like there needed to be a few other larger fruits, so I created my own and layered and stitched a few others from the 6x6 papers! For my title, I used the phrase on the lemon, the "fun" cork sticker and a phrase from the thickers! To help tie in the texture of the chipboard, I added a few color coordinating hearts around my photo as well. ![]() Thanks so much for joining me today! I'll be back next week with another "Sweet Tea" project! Until then, have a scrappy and colorful week! Hello Friends! Maryám here with you today to share my first project using the fabulous June 2019 Sweet Tea kits from Clique Kits. This month's kits feature a bunch of collection and brands including Saturday Afternoon Collection by 1 Canoe 2, It's all good by Dear Lizzy and so many others. This time I decided to create a layout and use one of the watercolored papers as my background. I also chose a really cute photo of my sister which pretty much inspired my design. I decided to try to create that kind of garden of roses that we see in my sister's picture, so in order to do that, I fussy cut some of the vellum flowers from the Blossom paper, added some awesome flowers from Prima Marketing, and in the end added some die-cuts like a bee, or a slice of lemon just to add a fun touch to the page. For the title, I used the word thickers from the Saturday Afternoon Collection and chose "Lazy Days". You can read the reason why of my title if you look closer and read my journaling. I hope you guys liked this project. If you have any questions just leave them in the comments below.
Have a great day! Hi everyone! Jamin here with my first Layout using the June Kit. All the yellow and pink colours in this Kit makes me so happy. First of all, I used a cut file from Handy Paper and packed it with the peach-patterned paper from Dear Lizzy.I placed my picture in the middle and pasted the cut files around my photo. i fussy cut some flowers from the Dear Lizzy Patterned Paper and decorate my Files with Stickers, Embellishments , Puffy Stickers and two from the PRIMA flowers . Finally, I cut a wide piece of a patterned paper and pasted it on the right side. Before, I had my journaling on the site, but I did not like that. I hope you like it!
Have a nice Day. Hi all, Rachel here. Here is my first share using the beautiful Sweet Tea kit, with a mix of OneCanoeTwo, Dear Lizzy and Heidi Swapp. The Dear Lizzy Peach paper inspired this layout. I used a peach cut file from the Silhouette Design store, cutting three and so three would fit across a 11x11 inch white card stock strip. I added machine stitching to the leaf, branch and the 'shadow' in the peach. I added some splatters of peach coloured paint on the white card stock. To break up the white I added a strip of pink each side and finished off machine stitching. I added two 2x2 inch photos so they would fit on the cut file peach, I adhered with foam tape to add dimension. I also added some embellishments to 'frame' the photos so they did not get lost against the patterned paper used for the peach cut files. For the middle peach I used the chipboard word SWEET, curving it along the bottom of the peach. I then created a floral cluster from the die cut ephemera. On my second photo I used some of the gorgeous puffy stickers from the kit. I added a subtitle, Better Together, a sticker in the kit and finished it off with a fussy cut peach from the peach paper. Again I used foam tape to create more height to my layout.
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to sharing my next project using the June kit. Rachel X Hello crafty friends! Rita here to share my first project using the June Kit „Sweet Tea“. I made a spread in my Traveler's Notebook about the first strawberries I ate this year. For this project I used the patterned paper „Seek Magic“ from the latest „Dear Lizzy“ collection, the alpha sticker sheet, the puffy stickers, the Instax sticker from Crate Paper's „All Heart“ collection, and the ephemera pack. First I printed my photo out out and glued it on the right page. I framed a strawberry with the Instax frame sticker and put some bees (from the puffy sticker sheet and the ephemera pack) and hearts from 3 different sticker sheets on it. On the left page I used a piece of the patterned paper with the strawberries and some ephemera pieces. The card has not only almost the same size and color as the Instax frame, but is also perfect for some journaling. I hope you feel inspired to make a quick and summery TN spread with your June Kit.
