Hello, CK friends! This is a bittersweet post since I'll be sharing my last layout for the Clique Kits design team. It has been a very wonderful creative journey and am so thankful to the CK leaders esp Gia for giving me this amazing opportunity. I'm gonna miss my fellow team members as well but I know for sure we're still gonna see each other around the scrapbooking world. I used the June kit "Sweet Tea" main and junior kits for my project today and once again did my fave technique, fussy cutting. I cut two strips of papers from the Main kit and placed it horizontally on the white cardstock background. I made tears to the edges of the bottom layer and lifted the edges of the paper on the top. Then I placed the two fussy cut flowers with leaves from the 6 x 6 paper pad and adhered the photos in the middle of the two. From there, I started to embellish with flowers and stickers. I used one of the chipboard phrases as the title. I love how this layout turned out because it's full of the things I love in a project. There's fussy cutting , layers and clusters of embellishments and interesting bits and pieces of details. I hope you all like my layout as much as I do. This may be my last project to share here on the CK blog but I will still continue to create and inspire all of you. See you all around.
Happy crafting,

Hi Everyone, Sadly this is my last post for the wonderful Clique Kits! I have used papers and embellishments from previous kits. I especially loved all the Vicki Boutin ephemera in the May kit. I have also used the lovely Mountain Range cut file from the CK shop. I cut it in 2 sizes and layered them over and under the photo. Thanks, Gia for all your wonderful kits and scrapbooking passion!
Best wishes everyone! Sue :) Hi everyone! Nicole here and today, I'm sharing with you my final project for Clique Kits. I want to start off this post by thanking Gia for this wonderful opportunity and for believing in me that I can create projects to inspire you! Over the past three months, I've met so many new people and have learned so much and I hope it all continues to grow! What a sweet experience this was...definitely one I'll never forget! ~Thanks Gia from the bottom of my heart!! With that being said, I've created a "sweet" layout to share with all of you today featuring the June Sweet Tea kits! Here's a look at my completed layout... I just adore the strawberries in this kit! The papers, ephemera, puffy stickers and even the watermelon! There were a lot of smaller embellishments, but I wanted to create two large strawberries to use as a focal point for this layout. After drawing and cutting out the basic shape, I drew in the seeds and fussy cut out some leaves and small white flowers. To accent the leaves, I used two of the yellow flowers included in the kit. I found two pieces of the ephemera that fit this photo perfectly! "be human to the fullest" and "Best Human." This picture is of my "brother," Odie. He's literally the funniest dog I've ever known! I have him trained to sit on the chair at our dining room table nicely without begging and if he listens, I give him fruit. On this day, he tried watermelon for the first time and I couldn't hold him back. I thought his ear was so stinkin' cute and when I snapped the photo, his tongue was in a funny spot! For an extra hand made touch, I added the bee to the top right of the layout and then hand stitched a line to simulate him flying. Lastly, I added some of the watermelon from the kit and one from my stash to the bottom left of the page and added my date. Thanks so much for joining me today and every post for the last three months! I hope you will follow me on Instagram @colebys1981 for more projects and inspiration! Thank you again Gia and best of luck, many thanks and lots of love!! Hello Everyone! Maryám here with you today to share my last post of the month and my last official project as part of the Clique Kits Design Team. If you haven't heard about it yet, Clique Kits will be closing at the end of this month. It's really sad and hard to say goodbye to a company that I love and worked with since 2015. I am incredibly grateful and honored to have had the opportunity to be on the team for so many years. Okay now, let's get into the project. For today, I created a layout using the June Kits and the wonderful acrylic paints from Bad Girls Couture which came in this month's color kit. Here is a look at the paints from the kit. What I did was to paint an 8 1/2 x 11" inches white cardstock with the light pink paint called "Broken Doll". I ended up cutting the cardstock at 8 x 10 1/2" inches because I added a border of 1/4" of patterned paper all the way around my page. The rest of the process was very simple. I fussy cut some flowers from the Dear Lizzy "Blossom" vellum paper, and from the Golden Rod 6x6 Paper Pad. I created a diagonal design using the flowers I fussy cut before, put a photo in the center, added the title using a die-cut from Dear Lizzy as well, and to complete my page I added my journaling. Here are some photos. I hope you liked this project. If you have any questions please leave them in the comments below. And if you want to see more project from me, make sure to visit my blog.
Have a wonderful day! Hello, CK friends! Donna here back with another project using the June kits "Sweet Tea". I created a scrapbook layout mixing stuff from the main and junior kits. I also used the Color Kit as well. I used a white cardstock as the background. Then I used the 3 acrylic paints in the Color Kit to draw a circle. in the center. This will be the base of the wreath design I will be doing. After creating the circle, I used a couple of brushes to splatter some more paint diluted with water. I fussy cut the peaches from the Dear Lizzy paper Peachy Keen and mounted them with foam tape following the circle drawing to create a wreath design. I alternated between the colors of the peaches and then tucked in here in there some fussy cut leaves and flowers from the vellum paper. I placed my photos in the middle of the wreath design and then tucked in some Prima flowers around. I used some pieces from the ephemera pack as well then I've written a short note about the photo using the American Craft pen from a previous CK kit to complete the layout. I really love how this turned out! The colors and patterns in this month's kit are super sweet!
That's all for today and I hope to see you again in my next post. Thanks for dropping by and happy crafting! Hi Everyone! The trees in our driveway looked stunning this autumn and we had perfect days for autumn walks. Seeing as this is our last month I have a couple of layouts using papers and embellishments from previous kits. I am sure most people have lots of treasure bits hoarded away! The cut file is Fall Leaves and available in the CK shop under digitals. The background papers, file backing papers, and little bird sticker are from the April kit, Full Bloom. The other embellishments are from the Crate Paper, All Heart Collection, in the May kit. Hope you are inspired to use all your leftover kit treasures!
Sue :) Well today is my last time I will blog sharing my projects with the kits as you all know June is the last kit to be released. I have had a wonderful time on the Clique Kits DT, it has been an awesome team and I LOVED all the kits I received to work with. So here is my last share, a tag flip album which are so fun to make, it's all about the embellishments. When I make these I add photos also it tag form. I use different size and shapes tags for visual interest, I have created a fringe tag too and I like the finish of using eyelets . I have added lots of machine stitching to the tags to add texture, and to add word and phrases to the tags I cut them from the Dear Lizzy paper that has typed # phrases. I used foam tape on many embellishments so I could tuck other embellishments under others which add great dimension. I also made a tassel from the gold vellum speciality paper and added some gold thread. I love how this turned out and it looks so pretty!
Thank you to all the CK friends who have taken the time to pop in here and have a look at my projects over the last year and I hope I inspired you in some way. I know I have made many friends through Clique Kits and I thank you for your support. Rachel X Hello, CK friends! Donna here to share my first project using the June "Sweet Tea" kits. I used a mixture of items from the the main and junior kits to create today's project which is a spread in one of my TN inserts dedicated for memory keeping. I used the acrylic paints in this month's Color kit featuring Bad Girls Couture Haute Mess Paints. The colors are amazing and they coordinate with the June kit so perfectly. I fussy cut some of the flowers from the vellum paper and the Peachy Keen paper. I used a decorative border punch to add a bit of interesting detail to a couple of papers trimmed from the Seek Magic paper. I stamped around the edges with using a Vicki Boutin stamp and Catherin Pooler orange ink, both from previous CK kits. That's all from me today and I hope you liked my TN spread. Don't forget to leave a comment if you have any queries.
Thank you so much for dropping by and see you in my next post! Happy crafting, Hello crafty friends! Rita here with my last official project for Clique Kits (and the Blog), using the beautiful June Kit "Sweet Tea". I wanted my last layout to be something special. The CK Design Team was my very first one, so this epic experience needed to be documented. A big thank you to Gia and all the wonderful CK girls for this amazing time and the opportunity to share my work and be part of this awesome community. I really enjoyed the last nine months. Because I had a manageable amount of projects I made for the CK Blog, I thought about printing them all out and put them on one layout to keep the memory of my time on this great Design Team alive. After printing all the projects out I instantly found a perfect background for them: the Summer's Trails paper from the 1canoe2 "Goldenrod" collection. I cut it apart and placed my photos on them. With Heidi Swapp's Alphabet Stencils I formed the word "Clique". (You can find the set in the Color Kit!) On the right site I still had some space, so I fussycut the vellum flowers from the latest "Dear Lizzy" Collection and combined them with the Prima Flowers from the Kit and some fussycut peaches (from another "Dear Lizzy" paper). For the final touch I used some stickers, washi tape and my roller date stamp. I really love how this layout turned out and I hope you got inspired by it. Even if Clique Kits is closing it's doors, new things are waiting for all of us. Let's keep documenting our adventures and stay crafty! TFL!
