I love the collections and I was so happy that I was finally using the Lets stay home collection after months of hoarding..

Pinterest Please: Nature Lovers Field Notebook | Dana Tatar

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a field notebook that I was inspired to create using some fashion inspiration I found on Pinterest and the gorgeous Prima Marketing Nature Lovers Sampler Kit. The delicate pressed florals and neutral backgrounds on these garments had me thinking about the beauty of nature that surrounds me. The weather was gorgeous on Easter Sunday, so my family and I, along with my basset hound, went on a hike though a nearby nature preserve. I took a lot of photos of plants that caught my eye. I really enjoyed identifying and learning more about the local flora and recording my findings in a small notebook.

The Prima Marketing Nature Lover collection is absolutely beautiful! Some of the papers have metallic gold foil accents like this gorgeous cobalt blue paper I used for the cover of my notebook. In addition to the patterned papers, the kit also includes mini mulberry paper flowers, pressed flower charms, puffy stickers, and die-cut ephemera that are perfect for documenting nature. If you are a Prima fan and love earthy colors and botanical elements, you will love this kit!

I assembled each pair of pages in a similar fashion with a photo of the plant and the information that I learned. I then embellished the pages using patterned paper and embellishments from the kit. I cut small stamps from the Crate Paper Postmarked Patterned Paper (not included in the kit) and added them to the pages.

I tried to stick to a monochromatic color scheme for each plant. I used washi tape and dried flowers from my stash. The Clique Shop has similar Pressed Flower Ephemera and More Pressed Flower Ephemera.

There isn't really a recipe for creating a field notebook. Hand-drawn images or stampings of plants would also look amazing. The Studio Forty Traveler's Notebook Insert is filled with blank white pages, so the possibilities for personalization are really endless.

Shine Your Light | Art Journal Page

Hi Clique friends!! It´s my time to write for you again and I just love it!
For today´s post have decided to make an art journal page and, for that, chose to use my Bad Girls Couture Journal that by the way I love it not just because it’s a creative diary but it can make you feel creative just by the simple fact of holding it in your hands. Trust me... I know what I mean.

As it has loose pages I create either in horizontal or vertical. Am not picky at all when is time to give creativity wings or use this kind of journal. However, I do keep my pages in order of creation. LOL

Back to this project! The page am using had a little creation “flop”. I really believe that there is no mistakes but it wasn´t at all as I imagined in my mind and that´s completely OK. Only had to give it a second life because obviously I wouldn’t throw it away.

Pick my Dylusions paint and covered all the page. After dry, using a Butterflies stencil with Orchid Stecil Butter made a new light for the page. The butterflies did this great because they are shining but not shining enough to get attention out of my focal point which was the super beautiful doll of a previous AbStudio Sampler Kit (but you have a new one HERE)

Before you ask me for the that black dots stamped, they are that bubble plastic used in packaging. The other textures are splashes of the same paint mixed with Bad Girls Couture gesso. But I bet that you wont guess where my page focal sentiment is from!!! well if you read my last post maybe you will...
This also is the collection name that comes in the scrapbook paper stripe (I know, I know… but If it´s there why not using it, right?)

In the end smashed some paper and ripped it off to glue it down in one side of my paper. In the end made a seam all away around my page.

Travel Notebook Spreads/Nicole Martel

Hello friends! Nicole here with a few Travel Notebook spreads I created using the Watermelon Traveler's Notebook Add-on kit and the Watermelon Sugar Add-on kit. These kits are absolutely beautiful and I had so much fun creating these super simple spreads. If you prefer 12x12 papers, you may want to check out the Seasonal Watermelon Sugar Kit. You won't be disappointed! Not only are these kits perfect for documenting those fun, summer memories...but they can be used for general family moments as well! These papers and embellishments are super versatile.

The patterns on this page makes me so happy! I tucked a few chipboard frames behind the matted photo and then added a few chipboard pieces, sticker dots and the "love this life" sticker. I kept all of the pages super simple so that the photos are the main focus.

Usually, when I create mini books, I try to follow the same format throughout the mini. It makes it so much easier to create the pages in a snap without too much stress. My left-side pages include patterned paper, matted photo and embellishments, while the right side includes a few embellishments with some type of sentiment.

Stamps make great fillers as well! For the right-side, I stamped the "Let's Go Somewhere" sentiment using black ink and then added the chipboard pieces.

Super Fun Layout | Karlla Dauer

Hello Everyone,
It's Karlla back
and I'm very happy to share another project with you.

I created a layout with overlays in circles.
I love this style, because I can enjoy the prints of the collections.

I'm in love with Boys Rule - Cocoa Vanilla
and Little Boys, Big Adventures - Photoplay .
I thought the combination was beautiful.

I played with the colors of the alphabets, it made the layout more fun.
And sewed each circle to highlight

I must confess that I love these dinosaurs.
It's impossible to use only one.

Pieces of our Story | Sarah Wyles

Hello Everyone!! I hope your week is treating you well so far. This week my post is about pieces of my story. For me, I use my memory planner for a lot of my journaling and jotting down little notes about things that happen through the day or week. Just little things I may not remember. Now, don't get me wrong, I do use it for planning as well and playing, making it look pretty. But I like that I can add pictures that may not make it onto layouts, or journaling that I can hide, most I don't in here. For my May memory planner I decided to use the bright and beautiful Sampler kit | Some Days kit.

I use the monthly layout to jot down all my thoughts, appointments and the things that are going on, then I moved to my weekly pages and rewrite what was going on on those days. Usually because I don't get to it right then. Once I added my journaling and appointments and things then I move to pictures I might have from that week.

I know I share these online and there are things I don't want to share with the world, so I make little pockets like this, so I can write them down, have them apart if my memory planner, but know that they don't have to be seen by everyone too. Not only that, but it adds some pretties to my page and lets me play with more of the products lol.

After I add my pictures, I know exactly what room I have left to play and add all those pretties and thats what I do at this point. I play. Its relaxing and fun.
I have to be honest, I think memory planning is easy for me, most of the time. I love the fact that if my kids do something goofy or new or fun, that I can jot it down and have it all in one spot. Things that they can go back and look at too. I scrapbook a lot and I LOVE it, but I don't know about you, but I have photos that don't alway make it to a full layout, so I get to stick them in here, along with the story or memory.

Inspired By...Layout | Kintsugi | Piroska Czako-Radvanyi

Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest layout for Clique International. For my Inspired By... layout I chose a prompt from the May challenges: Kintsugi. It's a Japanese word, it means Repaired with gold, shining in my broken places. I have tough days in the last couple of weeks, I am overwhelmed, feeling my brokenness a lot. I just hope that after this periode I am going to realise that my wounds were repaired with something special like gold, as I experienced it in the past.

For my layout I chose a photo of my birthday party and the Dawn Blooms Base Kit. This kit has several beautiful patterned papers and die cuts from the watercolour collection of Prima Marketing.
First I cut out a base of the In the Water Garden patterned paper - it has such beautiful gold accents!

I got out a white cardstock, drew with a pencil the outline of the patterned paper, and started to make a watercoloured background using two Catherine Pooler ink pads. I used the colours Serenade and Sweet Sixteen.

The Dawn Blooms Base Kit includes a beautiful gold mirror cardstock, I cut some branches with some older Tim Holtz dies from it. I fussy cut a floral element from the leftover of the In The Water Garden patterned paper, and added the gold branches and some flower die cuts under the patterned paper. The die cuts are from the Ephemera 2 Floral Watercolor and Ephemera 3 Floral Watercolor die cut packs.
I also added some die cut around my photo from the Ephemera 1 Floral Watercolor pack, which you can find in the Dawn Blooms Base Kit.

I found the very same floral elements among the die cuts, so I decided to glue them with foam adhesive to the patterned paper in order to give the layout more dimension.

Finally I added my journalling on a self-made tag, and added some floral die cuts to it from the Ephemera 2 Floral Watercolor and Ephemera 3 Floral Watercolor die cut packs.

I added some sequins from the Loveland Sequin and Shaker Mix pack, two gold glitter resin heart stickers from the Garden Party collection of Maggie Holmes, which you can find in the Dawn Blooms Base Kit.

Let's go: Antelope Canyon layout | Giorgia Rossini

Hello there! Giorgia here today on the Clique Blog to keep you company with a new project. For my "let's go" assignment, where we document our travels, I continued scrapping pictures from our first road trip in US: in 2009 we traveled West US by car for a month and we loved that trip!
So today I take you to Antelope Canyon, that was one of my favorite from that travel, and you know what?
We almost missed it because we didn't know that you must book the tour to access it!
We discovered that only 2 days before we had planned it on our itinerary and we were lucky enough that there were still some available spot.
I decided to recreate a kind of sun rays with rolled paper made with different patterned papers from this paper pack, that has these great colors just perfect for this kind of pictures! I could never scrap these pictures with my usual bright and cheerful colors, so these papers are really helping me scrapping my desert and Canyon pictures.

Here you can see a detail of the rolled papers. I just love the depth they give to the project!
They are so easy to create: just roll the end of the paper with the help of a pencil and that's it.

Another amazing kit for scrapping neutral toned pictures is this one: I used its embellishments along with some of a sold out kit, Mesa.

I added some stamped details: in a first time, I stamped the phrase with green ink, but then I changed my mind because it didn't match perfectly the colors in the whole layout, so I stamped again with Sangria ink and I love the fact that the stamps aren't perfectly aligned, creating a sort of green shadow!
I also stamped two labels where I placed the title.

Here it is the finished layout.
