Hi scrappy friends! Nicole here and today I have a really fun and dimensional mini album that I created using the May "Great Expectations" Main Kit featuring Crate Paper "All Heart" collection. This mini album has a lot of dimension, texture, color and also features a very feminine collection used to showcase photos of my son. He's had a lot of challenges in life lately and I created this for him to look at and remind him to keep positive and know that he's perfect the way he is! I took many photos of the inside of this, but I will be posting a video flip thru over on my Instagram account too (@colebys1981)...so be sure to hop over this weekend and take a look! Here are a few close ups of the inside pages: Mini albums are a great way to use up all those little bits and pieces left over of a collection and a good way to use up all of those cardstock stickers, too! Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you've been inspired!

Hello, CK friends! It's Donna here back on the blog with another project using the May "Great Expectations" Kit featuring Crate Paper All Heart collection. I used some of my Bad Girls Couture acrylic paints, watered down, to add subtle colors to the white cardstock. The brush I used has a long and thin bristles, enabling me to smear the edges. After the splatters has dried, I adhered in place the pieces of patterned papers I cut in the middle. I folded the edges a bit for texture. I also used a white doily to break the mixture of colors of the patterned papers. Then I simply embellished with stickers, glossy puffy stickers and butterfly sequins. The pink alpha thickers is one of my faves in the May kit. I just love how dainty the color is. That's all from me today. I hope you liked my layout and I hope it inspired you to be creative today.
Thanks for dropping by and happy crafting! Hello friends! Today I can show you my mini album which was created with the Mai Kit. I can not say enough how much I love pink and this kit is perfect for me again. I had so much fun! The basis of my Mini is a cutfile which I also used in my layout. I only scrapped four photos of my daughter. That's enough for a mini :-) For my first page I used an acetate page and decorated it with stickers and a tassel. For this page I used a white cardstock and decorate it with Alpha stickers. I fussy cut some flowers from the Patterned Paper and decorate also my Photo. For the next pages I used cutfiles from my stash. I hope you like it.
Greeting from Austria! Hello crafty friends! Rita here with my third layout, using the Clique Kits May Kit "Great Expectations". This time I wanted to make a 9x12'' layout for my Project Life Album, documenting my latest visit to the cinema. Because I watched the new "Aladdin", I wanted to include Genie's oil lamp to my layout. Spontaneously I thought why not make my own Cut File, so I did. I used my tablet and the Pen.up app. While drawing this Cut File I thought of the Cave of Wonders and the lamp which is positioned up high on the rock formation. So after finishing and cutting it, I backed the lamp up with "All Heart" papers from the Kit. I used my leftover fussycut flowers from the "Wild" Paper and put them on the layout so it looks like the flowers are coming out of the lamp. In the middle I put a little photo of the movie poster which I made in the cinema. As ephemera I used my admission ticket and some stickers from the "All Heart" sticker sheets. I added some puffy stars and some fussycut pieces from the paper pad. ![]() Down below I included the Silhouette file, so you can use this Cut File aswell. Please be fair and tag me if you share your projects on social media, so I can admire them. (IG: @riri.creates or use the hashtag #riricreates) Please note that this Cut File is for personal use only! If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. You can find me here: https://www.instagram.com/riri.creates/ I hope you feel inspired to make your own "Aladdin" inspired layout. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting! ![]()
Hello everyone! This is Anastasia! I want to share with you my new layout, which I created using April Cut File
Hey all Rachel here and today I have a banner to share which I have created for my teenage daughter. The Crate Paper All Heart in the May kit, Great Expectations is just perfect for these types of projects. I used a banner cut file from the Silhouette Design store. I cut the back scallop banner in black to create a contrast against the pinks in this collection. To add texture I added machine stitching including the banner tabs. On this banner I added white tule and filled the pink sequins to the top. I created this 3D umbrella using a cut file from SVGcuts.com This banner I created layers by adding foam tape to elements, so I could tuck embellishments under other embellishments. This banner I cut a white tule piece and added a mix of white and pink sequins before sewing up. Again I added layers of embellishments and finished off with a paper tassel. I chose sentiments for my daughter using the wonderful word thickers and stickers in the kit. I love how this turned out, its positive, pretty and pink! The great thing about banners is you are only limited by your imagination. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful creative week ahead.
Hello, CK friends! It's Donna here with a new project using the May "Great Expectations" Kit featuring Crate Paper's All Heart collection. I used Go Girl paper as the background to my TN spread. I kept the embellishments minimal since the paper is already too busy. I hope you liked my project today! See you in my next post!
Happy crafting Hi friends :-) Today I show you my Layout created with the May Kit. I love all these colors in the Crate Paper Collection. For this I used a cutfile from HANDIPAPER. I filled it with the beautiful rainbow Patterned Paper and placed it on my Layout with foam tape. I fussy cut some flowers from the Paper 350845 and placed it with a lot of Stickers around the Camera. Finally, I used the pink alphas for my title. I hope you like it!
Hello everyone ! This is Anastasia.I want to share with you my layout. I created using a free cut file, one sheet of paper from Amaranth Exclusive Digital Collection and some from April kit Full Bloom and watercolor.
Hello scrappy friends! Rita here again with a new layout, using the May Kit „Great Expectations“. This time I chose to make a mixed-media background. First I used an outlined Alpha Stamp Set (this one is by Studio Calico) and stamped my title. Then I colored with black water color around the letters, along the horizontal line of my layout and made some splatters. When my Kit arrived I instantly fell in love with the „Wild“ Paper of the „All Heart“collection. I just had to fussycut out the vertically aligned flowers. I love how their colors pop out on the dark and white colored background. I used some sayings and hearts from the sticker sheet and the puffy sticker sheet to embellish my title and photo. This layout came together so fast. I hope you feel inspired to get crafty now and try this technique out!
