Hello there! Giorgia here today on the Clique Blog with a new layout. I already declared my love for wreath layout (in my previous posts I shared some, like this and this) and here I am again with a new one! I think wreath designs is always a good choice and there are so many ways to make a wreath: in this layout I used die cuts from this package to create a circle that highlight my travel themed picture. I stuck picture under the wreath and decorated it a little bit, but the big decoration is what I made to fill up the circle: I grabbed all my enamel dots from different kits and started filling the circle varying sizes and colors. I really like how it turned out! It is so colorful and makes me happy! For the title I used die cuts from the same package I used for the wreath. I created a little embellishments cluster on a corner to fill a space that I felt was too empty. For this project I used these products:

The first Sunday in May is Mother's Day here in Australia so I decided to make a special handmade card for my sweet mum! I have used the Happy Blooms kit featuring beautiful PinkFresh Studio (cliquekits.com/sampler-kit-happy-blooms-pinkfresh-studio/) I have used this gorgeous Rainbow Envelope box card available from the Silhouette Design store. I did alter it by adding flower die cuts instead of cut file flowers that were a part of this cut file. I wanted to create a happy garden scene and this guided my paper and colour choices. I chose the green patterned paper for my envelope with has a fab stripe on the reverse . for the rainbow I added a strip of blue paper under the rainbow to mimic the sky and then cut the rainbow curves in different colours/patterns. I used two large floral die cuts from the kit and added to the front of the envelope box. I found a phrase sentiment in the die cut pack which was perfect for Mothers Day and added with foam tape under the floral blooms. I embellished the rainbow with a small floral bunch and finished off adding some fussy cut butterflies from one of the papers in the kit. On the back I added another sentiment and finished off with a cup because my mother lives on tea lol! Box cards are easy to create and look beautiful! A unique card for someone special in your life. Thank you for stopping by today and I hope I have inspired you to give box cards a try. Rachel X Hi sweet Clique friends, It's NenaScrap with you today and I have a question for you 😊: have you participated in our monthly challenge on the FB group The Clique ? We have a fabulous moodboard and a beautiful free cut file to inspire you and I used both to create this layout with the lovely Limited Edition Kit My Mother's Garden. I cut the cut file out of green cardstock and adhered it to my white background. I definitely wanted to use this Sokai floral paper from the My Mother's Garden kit. I placed a torn strip of it at the bottom of my page and then placed my photos. I chose these 2 photos of my little number 5 discovering the flowers in the garden. I fussy cut the flowers from the kit papers and used them as embellishments on my page. In the kit, there are labels to cut out too, I placed several here and there. I used 3D foam to add volume. ![]() The acrylic pieces add texture. To support the buccolic atmosphere of this layout, I added butterflies, dragonflies and small birds. I hope you like this layout and that it will inspire you to participate in the challenge. Join the Facebook group The Clique and show us your creations, we love it!
Have a happy crafty day. Hugs & kisses from France. Hi Clique friends! For this mini I used the beautiful Leaves turning add on kit and the Stitched together base kit. I had some bits and pieces left from both kits, perfect for a mini! The 'pages' are all different pieces of paper of different shapes and sizes. The left over tags, journal pieces and left over papers cut to size. Some of the papers are hand stitched and some machine stitched to give it a bit more structure and dimension. This collection also has some huge embellishments like the lounge chair which I simply turned into a page. Finish off with a small cluster of other embellishments and... voilà! I often distress the edges of the larger embellishments to give it more dimension. I don't use a distress tool, simply a pair of scissors. I used the smaller pieces of paper to create rolled flowers... It's always so much fun to create mini's out of left over kits! It's satisfying to use up all that gorgeousness and completely kill your kit!
I hope that you got a bit of inspiration! Let me see your mini albums on our Facebook Group, I'd love to see your creations! xoxo Petra Hi Clique friends. |
