Good morning! Nicole here. It's been awhile since I shared a layout on the blog. I have been creating lots of projects, but needed to take photos etc. I finally found some time to play catch up! And I'm excited to share this layout with you today! Have you seen the Limited Edition Book Club Kit? I just love it so much!! I especially love the patterned papers in this beautiful collection. It's super cute and it's still available in the shop. Grab it now... before it sells out. I did a bit of fussy cutting for this layout... the books, pots, journaling card and greenery were all cut from the papers. I used foam squares to pop them on the paper for added dimension. I glued the wood veneer "Book Lover" embellishment onto the photo and then used a black pen and ruler to hand doodle the frame. To complete the layout, I cut the book image from a sheet of patterned paper and then added the stamp along with the chair and plants to fill in the white space at the bottom. What do you think? Isn't this kit adorable? I just love everything about it! Thank you for visiting today!
Happy Monday, Friends!! This is Sanjana here with my first ever Design Team post for the Clique Kits. For this layout I have used the Les Jardin Base kit. Here are some close ups of my layout.I have a process video here for you to check it out...Hello Everyone, it's Piroska here today with my latest post for Clique International. I hope you are all doing great. For me, things are going tough, but we'll over it, right? In Hungary kids are in distance learning since March (just like last year), my daughter too. She has some online lessons, but many tasks have to be done after that. Alone, because we work (from home, but can't sit next to her all the time). And she masters it so well! We are sooo proud of her! Of course I had to scrap this memory of her second school year. For my layout I used the Les Jardins Base Kit, which is a great mix of Maggie Holmes' Garden Party and Jen Hadfield Reaching Out collections. I cut the Choose Happy cut file of CUT to YOU, and backed the letters with the Hello You patterned paper of the Reaching Out collection. I wanted to use a white chardstock as a base, so I used some gesso and then started to paint the background. I used my Catherine Pooler ink pads for watercoloring, they are really great for that technique! I used the colours Chiffon, Sauna, Catching Rays and Bellini, this last one can be found in the Unicorn Kit. Then I started to mat my photo, I used some patterned papers from the Reaching Out collection: Reaching Out, Hello You. I cut out a rainbow stripe and also some cards from the Hello you paper, and glued them on the bottom of the cardstock, Then I started to embellish the layout. I added some phrase ephemera cut outs from the Les Jardins Base Kit, and some icon ephemeras from the Budapest Add-on Kit. I really like how these little pieces add to a layout. I also added an epoxy flair from Scrapping Happy studio which was in the Les Jardins Base Kit. Finally I added an alphabeth pin from the Budapest Add-On kit. I hope I could inspire you to use your Catherine Pooler inks as watercoulurs! Now go to the Clique International shop and get some of the new kits and add-ons!
Happy crafting! Hello there! Giorgia here today on the Clique Blog to give you an idea on how to recycle some boxes; I never throw away empty cardboard or plastic boxes because when you need to make a cute package they are so useful. In just few minutes, with patterned papers and embellishments you can create a lovely package. So, these are decorated recycled boxes I made to give bulbs and seeds to my friends: it's spring and we all need some color and beauty in our life lately, don't we?! I tried to use almost all flowery/nature themed patterned papers and I must say I have quite a great collection of them: in many Clique International kits there is at least one of them and you can also find them in the loose patterned paper section and paper packs. I also made tags using this lovely patterned paper: on the front there are cards that shows different flowers, so I cut them and added to the right package! I added a tassel and on the back I put a layered butterfly (you can find something similar in this kit) and a flower themed quoted that I print and cut. For the plastic box, I wrapped bulbs in tissue paper and I made a kind of wrap for the box with this patterned paper and I embellished it. That's all. In one minute I had ready another cute box; don't forget to add sequins here and there, they are cute and they always add that little touch of sparkle that makes every project even more cute! And when you add a die cut butterfly, try to glue it only in the centre and lift the wings up to "make them fly"... I always do that and I think it's cute! I used these supplies from the shop:
I hope now you will see boxes with different eyes and will try to recycle some! Ciao, a presto Hello my crafty peeps! It is Ali here with you today sharing a layout I created with the wonderful Sampler Kit | Vicki Boutin Color Study | American Crafts and the Add-on Kit | Vicki Boutin Color Study Paper Pack | American Crafts . Can we talk about the vibrant and bold colors in these kits! I am in love and I have to say this is my favorite Vicki Boutin line, hands down! This fun picture was taken of Vicki and me at a Crop and Create event in Canada. We had so much fun with the photo props and this one just makes me smile every time I see this picture of us. I had a hard time choosing what paper to use for my layout, so I decided to use every paper in her collection and fill this fun flower cut file. I love how it displays all the papers in her collection. I used her foam title stickers for the title of my layout and embellished with cute little foam dot and heart stickers to frame the flower. I always use foam tape to pop my cut files and give it more dimension. I also popped our picture, so it stood out on the bright and bold background. If you have not already, go check out the Clique Shop for all these fun Spring kits! So many fun ones to create with!
I hope you enjoy this layout as much as I do. Cheers to another happy craft weekend! Love, Ali xoxo There is so much inspiration on Pinterest you couldn't live long enough to try all the amazing crafts out there. Whilst browsing I came across an old fav of mine, decorated clip boards. If you have a cutting machine, you can find a clipboard cut file in the Silhouette design store which makes this an inexpensive way to create something gorgeous. Clipboard ID #39558. I used chipboard to cut mine which gives it the strength needed. And here two that I have created and inspired by Pinterest. I have used Mintay Papers Better Times and Mintopia Studio A Volar collection kit from the Clique shop. This larger clip I create I have made into a picture frame. My darling girl pictured here passed recently after being a part of our family for 17 years. I wanted her to be in my craft room so this was a perfect way to honour her. The A Volar collection perfect colours and even though it is a travel collection you can see it certainly can be used for other themes. I created a vellum sequin shaker and machine stitched to add texture and layers. I added a floral charm onto the clip part of the board which you need to do before adhering the clip to the board. I made my second clipboard smaller as my intention was to make it into a birthday card to send overseas. Using the Mintay Papers Better times collection. Again I created a vellum sequin shaker but this time added some Prima ribbon ( I added a row of machine stitching to the middle of a double folded strip and then gathered by gently pulling the cotton at each end) to soften. I used one of the journal cards as the feature of my card which I added to a wood frame from one of the other papers. I added this piece with foam tape to create dimension. I finished this off by adding several fussy cut butterflies and charms. This fits into an envelope and only cost me $3.55 AUS to send to England. I think my grandmother will love the novel birthday card. My greetings written on the back of the clip board. I love how these turned out and how fab is it that you can use the basic clipboard to create varying projects. Thank you for stopping by and head over to the Clique shop to see all the gorgeous products cliquekits.com/see-everything/
Hello eveyrone!! It's Isa today on the blog and I am here today with a new post inside the category Inspired by. This time I got inspired by a song I was listening while looking for ideas for this post! I got inspired by the song Fight Song by Rachel Platten. The last months of my life haven't been exactly easy so this song has helped me to go through hard times. You can check the song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo1VInw-SKc I decided to make a layout using the lyrics of this song as journaling. For this layout I have used the Keeping it real Kit featuring products from Pink Fresh Studio. You can find and purchase this kit here: https://cliquekits.com/sampler-kit-keeping-it-real-pinkfresh-studio/. I have used one of the patterned papers as the base for my layout. Then, using the new watercolor set from Amy Tangerine I made a background using colors resembling the ones in the die cuts of the kit that I have used. You can find the watercolor set here: https://cliquekits.com/watercolor-set-amy-tangerine-brave-bold-american-crafts/ Then, to emphasize the picture, I added tons of die cuts of flowers that are included in the kit and as also flowers appear in my layout they combine perfectly well. I used some pieces of paper from the kit for the layers behind the picture and added some chipboards and die cuts to add different elements. I wanted to put elements around the picture to make sure that my picture was the centre of attention. Then, to finish the layout I added some enamel dots which are always a good resource to finish layouts. And finally, to finish the layout, as a title I have included the words, perfectly imperfect that appear in the thickers set from the kit. The picture was taken after a photoshoot I made some weeks ago to change my profile pics in social networks and I just love it! I hope you like the project as much as I do!! And I hope to see most of you in my coptic stitching class here in Clique Kits!! I am so excited!! I will be back real soon with new projects to show! Take care,
Isa Hello Clique friends! |
