Hello crafty friends! Rita here. Today I have a little tutorial for an easy and quickly made scrapbooking layout for you, using the gorgeous April Kit „Full Bloom“. Here is what you need: - the „Look Up“ Paper from the Vicki Boutin Kaleidoscope Collection - white acrylic paint - Vicki Boutin Kaleidoscope ephemera pack and sticker sheet - thread and needle - some alpha stickers for your title - your photos First of all, I put three thick strokes with white acrylic paint on the paper. I used an acrylic block (for stamps) instead of a brush, for a more straight line. After drying I put the three banners from the ephemera pack in the middle of each paint stroke. At each banner end I put an ephemera. Either a butterfly or a cloud. To add a little highlight, I handstitched around a cloud and a banner. I put my title „we were here“ on the middle banner. The last step: Put a photo on the top and lower banner. I cut a slight curve in my photo so it would fit better. And now you can decorate with stickers and stamps. I hope you feel inspired now to dive into your kit (or stash) and get crafty! Happy Easter and thanks for stopping by today!

tHey all Rachel here and today I have my second share using the April Full Bloom kit. I love the Heidi Swapp papers in this kit. This layout has lots of negative space with pops of colours and even a little paper fringe. I cut the Heidi Swap paper on the diagonal and before attaching to my white cardstock I cut a fringe on the black edge of the diagonal. I framed both my photos using the pink white wash Heidi Swapp paper (frame cut files from Silhouette Design store). Using two different shaped frames added to the visually interesting look of this layout. I then added some of the super cute embellishments from the sticker sheet, I added the tiny bird with foam tape and tucked a small flower under it. I added a bird and word sentiment next to my other photo keeping the colours tied in with the bright colours of the diagonal paper. I used from the ephemera pack the Colourful word as my title, I add my title and subtitles along the diagonal lines for visual impact. I added several beautiful butterflies around my title. I often think we look at a layout and think we must fill every space but sometimes a layout can have lots of negative space if the design and embellishment placement is good and as the saying goes 'be a pop of colour in a black and white world, this layout is just that!
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope that I have inspired you to create a layout not so 'busy'! Hi everyone! Nicole here with a bright and vibrant layout using the April "Full Bloom" kit. This kit really is in "full bloom" with all of the beautiful floral's from Vicki Boutin! Today's layout is all about the floral papers and large ephemera. To help tone down the background a bit, I added a layer of white gesso behind where my photo was going to be placed and also the top right corner where I added a few smaller flowers. I used the white and silver tags included in this months kit to add my journaling. Lastly, I added my title using the white alphas and also the add on phrase stickers. Thanks so much for joining me today! Be sure to post what you are creating with this months kit over in our Facebook group! I'd love to see what you're creating! Hello everyone. This is Anastacia and my new layout. I created it out of beautiful April kit Full Bloom. I added flowers and twigs cut file Plantd from clique. The butterflies I cut out with scissors and they are scattered around my layout.
Hello everyone! Today I can show you my second layout with the March Kit. I was inspired by the 12x12 Patterned Paper (351094) by Vicki Boutin. I chose all the embellishments from the Main and TN Kit in the same color as the paper strips. I placed my picture in the middle and began to place all the embellishments. I started with the color blue to yellow. I cut the black leaves from a larger one included in the Main kit. I'm so in love with these colors and I'm sure you too. Can not wait to see your creations with this kit. Please also share your projects in the Facebook group. Thanks for stopping by!
There are lots of beautiful Vicki Boutin papers and embellishments on this layout, from the April Full Bloom kit and the Autumn Wreath cut file from the Clique Kits shop. I snapped this pic while my granddaughter and I were wandering down the garden. The colours in this kit were perfect! After cutting the wreath in white, I decided it wasn't going to stand out the way I wanted so I backed it and then fussy cut to leave a border. I then did a little fussy cutting of the floral paper and went into the gorgeous stash of stickers and embellishments, to make a couple of clusters. The La La La Love you heart shaker was from a Feb CK kit.
Hope you are inspired and check out The Clique Facebook page for more inspiration! Cheers, Sue :) Hi all Rachel here. There is so much to love about the April kit, Full Bloom and I am having so much fun creating with it. Here is my first share. Isn't this background paper by Vicki B just stunning, and this paper inspired my layout. I have used a cut file from the Silhouette Design store (Heart Round Circle) using the striped paper to contrast against the blue. I added my photo with foam tape creating a frame to mat it on which I machine stitched to add texture and definition. I added my title...dream....using the gorgeous puffy white alpha included in the kit. I added a sticker heart and a word sentiment to the top of my photo and finished off by adding one of the gorgeous die cut birds from the ephemera in the kit. I fussy cut the gorgeous butterflies from the butterfly paper. I then attached them in a way they appear to be flying from the bottom of my page to the top. I added them with foam tape to create a 3D effect. I added word sentiments from the sticker sheet as my journalling. I then added the die cut clouds with foam tape so it added to the 3D effect. And there you have it one very dreamy looking layout! With a background paper such as this you have to add butterflies and birds right! Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you again soon with more creations using the stunning April kit.
Hello friends! Nicole here and today I'm thrilled to be sharing my first post with Clique Kits and the beautiful April "Full Bloom" kit! Vicki Boutin's Color Kaleidoscope collection is one of my most favorite collections recently...I just love all of the rainbow colors! Today, I'm using two of my favorite papers in this collection, Chasing Rainbows and Paper Hearts. When I saw all of the hearts, I knew I had to fussy cut that paper! Once I had all of my hearts cut out, I color blocked them on the vertical stripes of color and stitched them very carefully with my sewing machine. I did this so the hearts would be able to pop off my page and add dimension. After I stitched the hearts into place, I added my photo, title and other embellishments. I just love the large butterflies this month, don't you?! And the cut apart banners from Pretty Little Studio were the perfect pops of complimenting colors and with the perfect phrases! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you've been inspired! Be sure to tag me on social media so I can see what you've created!
Hello Friends! I am pleased today to show you my first Layout created with the April Kit. For this I used two free Cut files from Bea Valint. The word Spring and the flowers. I packed the Cut file with the beautiful Papers from the Color Fresh Line by Heidi Swapp and placed it around my Picture. I decorated my Layout with the cute birds from the sticker sheet, a die cut from the Travelers Notebook Kit and word stickers from the main kit. Finally, I sewed 3 more white butterflies on my Layout that I had left. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you like it.
Hello crafty friends! Rita here with a new layout using the gorgeous April Kit „Full Bloom“. This is my first layout without using a Cut File, but I hope you still feel inspired. The papers in this kit are so colorful and vibrant and don't need a lot more extra, so I made a traditional scrapbooking layout, playing mostly with the papers. After arranging my photos which I backed up with vellum, I put the ephemera flowers above them. I printed two of my photos in black and white because I didn't want to much distraction from the vibrant colors of the flowers. Another key piece in this layout is the title „Remember“ which you can find in the ephemera pack. It's contrast to the rest of the used colors makes the title stand out. I really liked that. The final touch are given by some small details, like the stickers, the date stamp and some journaling. I hope you feel inspired to use these beautiful papers, cut them apart and fussy cut them out. The possibilities are endless! And in the end I still had plenty of paper left to use in my Traveler's Notebook and for a mini album. ![]() I will share all my projects using this kit on Instagram, so make sure to follow along. And don't forget to share your own creations on FB or Instagram, we love to see your projects! Thanks for stopping by and hopefully, see you soon! |
