Hello Clique International friends! Giorgia here today to share a new project with you: do you like to dig onto Pinterest boards and pins to find inspiration? I certainly do! (BTW, we have a Clique account where we save all our projects, if you need a quick look on them!) During one of my Pinterest scrolling sections, I found this amazing felt and fabric heart that I used as starting point for a layout. I wanted to recreate "the heart made of hearts" as main design in a layout; since I don't have an electronic die cutting machine, I hand cut different sizes and shaped hearts from many Studio Tekturek patterned papers included in this kit and I arranged them on a white cardstock. This collection is so vibrant and it screams "summer" and I really need a little bit of summer in these difficult days, and you? The cardstock is trimmed to 30 cm and backed with a patterned paper, to create a sort of frame. I glued only the center of each heart, to lift them and make them "flutter". Some of them have a smaller heart on top, to add even more dimension. I created some layers on top of picture using stickers and labels from the same kit ( in the kit you will also find washi stickers and alpha) and I added sequins, puffy and enamel stickers from past Clique kits. To create the title I hand cut a journal card from the kit. I added stickers to create journal. I used this kit from the shop:
Ciao, a presto

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your day is going good! Today I wanted to share with you a card I made for my mom for her Birthday coming up this month. I didn't want to go with a regular card and I love making them for her too, so I dug into my Sedona kit and made her a card! I actually used a whole 12x12 sheet of white cardstock to make this card lol. I scored the cardstock in a few places, cut some diagonals and made sure everything folded together right, where I could slide a few things in and out and then I added my redline tape. This way I knew it wasn't coming apart! Then I went a head and started adding paper to the pieces that were going to be pretty on the front, added some sewing and then made sure to tape everything! After I had the card all secure, knowing it would stay together if I stuffed things into it, I went to town adding paper, flowers, tags and some dimension! I have to say I love this kit. It may look all deserty but you can use it for so much more! This was a fun card to make, I hadn't added anything in writing to my mom before I took pictured cause I thought I would keep that just for her! But I love the fact that it has 2 pockets to slide your writing into and hide it a bit or you could slide a gift card in and a few pictures! My mom always loves getting pictures!
Well I hope you enjoyed this, I may have to post a quick video of how to make the card if anyone wants to know. It's easy! Make sure to go check out the Clique kits shop and see ALL THE AMAZING products that are in the shop!! And make sure to grab the Sedona Kit!! Love it!! Hello my crafty peeps! It is Ali here with you today sharing a layout I created for the Let's go challenge using the Just Plane Fun line from Fancy Pants. I was waiting for that perfect line to use with one of my favorite travel photos. We were headed to Utah to attend an event at Doodlebug Designs and I asked the stewardess if I could take a picture of the pilot in the cockpit. She went to ask him and before I knew it I was sitting in the co-pilot's seat. How cool is that! I was amazed at all the controls and how tight it was too sit in that seat. I used a cut file from Paige Evans and backed the plane using the Just Plane Sampler kit. I added wooden veneer people to fill the seats of the plane and love that you can see them through the windows made of vellum. Vellum was also used in the backing of all the clouds. I made the top clouds into shakers and outlined all the clouds with Stickles. I added enamel dots to the background and a few die cuts from the Just Plane Fun Sampler kit. The kit is on sale in the shop. It's such a great line for all your travel pictures. I am excited to have more plane fun creating with this line. http://cliquekits.com/sampler-kit-just-plane-fun-fancy-pants-designs/ I really miss traveling and hope to be on a plane again real soon. In the mean time I will be scrapping all my travels and keeping the memories close!
Safe travels my friends! Love, Ali xoxo Hi Clique International friends! Today I have a layout to share that has several elements repeated in design and I show you how to use a black and white collection with a wow factor! I have used this gorgeous limited edition kit called Best Kid Ever which feature Photoplay Little One collection. This kit is available in the www.cliquekitscom I repeated my torn paper strips on this layout to add texture, keeping to the rule of threes. I wanted to add a colour so used a turquoise blue water colour to some of the rainbows, phrase sentiment and then splattered my page lightly with it and a little black. I cut a rainbow using black and white card stock and then embossed it to add more texture which gives more breathing space from the solid black and white elements. I added my baby photo with foam tape to create height and then added the cloud die cut slightly under my photo and my title Sweet to the top of my photo. I love how visually striking this turned out even with such little colour, the different textures ensure every elements stands out. This kit is a must have for those baby days photos, even your fur baby photos!
Thank you for stopping by today! Hello Paperlovers, Welcome to the Cliquekits international blog! It’s Josefine here with a new share for you! The theme for today is "handmade with love" I had to think about what I wanted to make. Soon I figured it out. I wanted to make a memories catcher (the original idea was a dream catcher) The idea is to decorate pictures of happy moments and attach them into this memories catcher. This is also a fabulous idea for a gift, think about your mother/father, best friend or a person you share beautiful memories with.... We start with a metal decorative ring that is wrapped with golden yarn. Then I go through the center with the yarn and created a star. Now I can attach photos or cards to it. For this project I use the beautiful collection "Take Flight" from Rosie's Studio. This is such a gorgeous and colorful collection. It's really makes my happy! This beautiful kit is still available at the Cliquekits website. store-iuvxtqirog.mybigcommerce.com/junior-kit-take-flight-rosies-studio/ For the decoration of this memories catcher I make three large paper flowers. Using three colors of cardstock. I made a short video, that you can watch on my Instagram. I cut out the flowers with my cricut maker and curled the edges of the flowers. I glued them together with adshive tape. You can choose any flower to make your own paper flowers. I folded the yellow origami flower and placed it between the two large flowers. On my IG there is also a video how I folded this origami flower! I punched out the leaves with different metal dies and stitched them with golden thread. I did the same with the butterflies. The little cards with photos, I made from different design papers and die-cuts. The tassels are made from design papers as well. These tassels are so much fun to make. Also perfect for a mini album! I decorated the ring with all my paper flowers, leaves and die-cuts. I love how my memories catcher turned out
I think it's a cool idea and hope you'll like it too! Wish you all a beautiful and creative day! XoXo, Jo Hello everyone! It's Isa today on the blog and I am excited to share with you a new project. Today I want to present you a layout I have made creating my own sketch. You can make your own interpretation of this sketch in our Facebook Group, it will be fun! And I hope you like it! For this layout I have created the bakground using acrylic paing mixed with water to make the splatters of the background. I have to admit that I love this technique. I also used some enamel dots taht combine with the colors of the papers. All the papers that I have used for making this layout are from American Crafts and you can find them on the shop at a very reduced price. Here you have the list of papers I have used: All the Colors (http://cliquekits.com/all-the-colors-amy-tangerine-picnic-in-the-park-american-crafts/); Aloha Leilani (http://cliquekits.com/aloha-leilani-amy-tangerine-picnic-in-the-park-american-crafts/); You are My Happy (http://cliquekits.com/you-are-my-happy-amy-tangerine-picnic-in-the-park-american-crafts/); Bright Lines (http://cliquekits.com/bright-lines-amy-tangerine-picnic-in-the-park-american-crafts/); Whole Lotta Love (http://cliquekits.com/whole-lotta-love-amy-tangerine-picnic-in-the-park-american-crafts/); Mindful (http://cliquekits.com/mindful-12-x-12-patterned-paper-dear-lizzy-new-day-american-crafts/) I have torn the papers of the layers so that I can give more volumen behind the picture. I have combined also with the black splatters lots of stitching that I have made with my sewing maching. Iit is something that I always like to include in my projects. I used also flower die cuts from a set from Pinkfresh Studio and the title is a word that was included in the Black and White Kit from Pretty Little Studio.
I have to say that I had lots of fun creating my own sketch and then representing it. I hope you like it and that you participate creating your own layout of it!! See you soon with new inspirations! Lots of love, take care! Isa Hello Clique friends! |
