Hello my Sweets! Here is Réka again. Today I am sharing my latest layout with you using the lovely February 2018 Main Kit featuring the Crate Paper – Good Vibes collection.  
This collection’s colors are just amazing. One of my favorite colors is the mint green from the Perfection paper. This color gave me the idea to paint my layout’s background with the same color. 
I have used my Prima Marketing –Pastel Dreams watercolor palette to mix this color and I also added some gold shine from the Heidi Swapp Color Shine. My flat brush was the perfect tool for this purpose. I have bought this flat brush at the local crafty store and it is the first time I have used it and I have totally fallen in love with it. It is easy to use and the result is just stunning.  I can’t wait to make more painting project. I also love this background’s brightness and shine.

When I saw this cute pink bird from the ephemera pack I knew I would have liked to use it for a layout and the time has just come. I added it to the lower middle part of the layout and put my photo above. 

​Some fussy cut cactus also went on the layout together with this hexagon #1 fun tag. It was a funny moment and this tag represents this feeling.

​The truth is, I am always in trouble with using the labels. I like them and I would like to use them, but somehow they never fit in my project.  The ephemera pack contains this huge label with pink and red frame and I have decided to use it now as the base for my layout’ s title.

​‘Együtt’ (together) was created with shine gold glitter letters which are another ones of my favorites from this kit. I love that the letter are different size and I could add more playfulness for the layout. 

​I would like to use more die cut but finally I have decided to create a simple but cute layout.

Hello Friends! Maryám here with you today to share a new Traveler’s Notebook spread. I just love how we can document our little memories in a TN book. I think this is such a great system and if you haven’t tried it yet I recommend you to go and start now.

I use my Traveler’s Notebook to document my everyday moments but I also use it to put some ideas that didn’t go into a layout. For today’s project, I wanted to use flowers and butterflies. What I did first was fussy cut a few of them and then created my design.

In the right side of the spread, I put my photo, the journaling, and the title. I also added a big butterfly to connect it with the other page.

In the left side, I put two butterflies and added some hearts trying to create a kind of line. It also added unity to both pages.

Hello loves! Donna here sharing another fun and easy project with everyone. I still have a few stuff from my November kit "Cornucopia" and that's what I decided to use for my post today.

I made a 4 inches x 4 inches mini-album and it's super cute! Great for those tons of photos you just had to take and couldn't decide which one to use on a layout. I am not much of a multi-photo scrapbooker so mini-albums are awesome for that.

Hi everyone, Gia here today! It is very fitting for me to post today because Valentine's Day has always been one of my favorites. I am really excited to share some Valentine's Day inspiration for you all and hope that you get some ideas to take to your craft space and use today! 

First I want to show you a 12 x 12 layout called "Dream Come True"

To create this layout I started with a 12 x 12 watercolor paper background. I painted a heart with my Shimmerz Paints creameez paint in "red necking" using a wet on wet technique. While the paint was still watery I sprinkled a dash of salt around the heart. When dry, it leaves an interesting effect. Then I splattered some diluted rose gold paint around the page.  When all of the paint was dry, I layered some punched butterflies and my photo backed with some tags and paper pieces from the Atacama kit. As a finishing touch I did some stamping and heat embossing. I love all of the textures in this layout.

Next up, I made a total of 6 tiny mini photo book Valentine's; one for each member of my family! Except for the heart shaped felt, which I found at the Target dollar spot, all of the supplies for these minis were in the February kits- both the main and Travelers notebook kits. Mixing and matching from these two kits is one of the fun things about subscribing to both kits as they each contain different products but work together so well.  I scheduled a video flip through on You Tube which you can check out here.

This project required a bit of planning and organizing before I actually started working on putting them together. Here are the steps simplified for you:

1.  Print  photos sizing each one to 2x2 or 2x3 size. Select 4-6 photos per mini. In my case, I chose photos of each recipient and some with us together.

2. Choose one or more papers and cut into strips that are 12 inches long and 1 1/2-2 inches wide, depending on your preference. For this, the Crate Paper Good Vibes paper already designed with strips was perfect! I then folded each strip accordion style.

3. Using a machine or needle and thread stitch snips of the pom pom tassel trim in the Atacama kit to the front cover heart. 

4. I chose to use  the paper with the little houses and the llamas because I couldn't resist how cute they were. I fussy cut some of the elements as embellishments in my minis.

5. I used some stickers to finish the minis  that I had leftover from a previous year's Valentine kit. There are so many cute Valentine's Day themed items in the shop right now!

Last but not least, I used some of my February kit supplies to decorate some Altoids tins which I will be sending to my college students for their Valentine's Day gifts! I loved how these came out! I also used the washi tapes that were in the kits to cover the lower part of the tins.

Hi everyone! Khristina here and I am super excited to share a really fun traveler's notebook project with you today. For 2018, I knew that I wanted to document and write my feelings about my One Little Word in my traveler's notebook rather than trying to keep up with a whole separate album for this project. I had a lot of thoughts that I wanted to share about my word this year and how I want it to guide my life so I needed a lot of space for journaling. 

I decided that in order to get all of that writing space that I needed plus keep the thoughts just a bit more private, that I would create a flap in my traveler's notebook that would open to reveal the hidden journaling below. The gorgeous pom pom trim from the main kit was the perfect addition to use as an interactive and fun piece for that flip page. 

I used a  photo that I had taken at Creativation of part of Tim Holtz's booth as a way to put my One Little Word--Dare--into a pictorial form. I also included a favorite quote image from Walt Disney. I decided that I wanted my word itself to take center stage so I cut out some giant letters from the patterned papers in this main kit (the Good Vibes collection) and then added some embellishment details to each page of my four page spread. 

I was SUPER excited to try a couple of new things on this project. For starters, this was the first time that I have flipped by traveler's notebook sideways although I always admire other projects that I see people create in that orientation. This was also the first time creating a fold-out element in my notebook and I just love how it gave me just a bit more space and allowed for a lot of writing.

Hello my Sweets! I hope you are well. Today I am sharing with you my first project using the gorgeous February 2018 Main Kit. This kit contains lots of elements from the awesome Crate Paper: Good Vibes collection.
I have got a lot of plans how I could use this fantastic kit. The first project was this cute February Album which is my personal planner and my memory album in one.

For the album cover I have chosen the fantastic geometrical February cut file designed by Maryám. The perfect paper was to use the Hashtag paper form Crate Paper: Good Vibes collection. The pink, green and cream combinations are my favorites. The original cut file was resized and the negative pieces were used this time and I adhered them on to the white cardstock. The result is just amazing. I love how this handmade new patterned paper turned out. For the middle part of the cover I have used one pom-pom designed frame and added to the “be happy be bright be you” sentiment from the ephemera pack. The word February and the label 2018 was placed on the cover with some stars from my stash. This pink color adds more contrast to the cover.  I love this positive atmosphere. 

​Now let’s see one inner page. This is my February monthly spread. 

The lines were created with washi tape. I have used my mechanical cutting tools and cut thin stripes. The square size is 1 X 1 inch which it is perfect to take short notes for the important events or deadlines.

I made a cluster in the top left and the bottom right corners as well using some images from the ephemera pack. The cute llama couldn’t miss out which was fussy cut from the Perfection paper. The letters are from a precious kit, a black edge was given and rainbow crayons add a matching color to the overall image.

I cut off the label days from the ephemera pack and added them to the top of the columns.  
​I love the way black and pink smiles on us from the cover.

Hello Friends! Maryám here with you today to share a new project using the January 2018 Main Kit. I know you still have a lot of stuff left from the kit so I want to help you to get inspired to create with it.

For today's project, I decided to make a card and focus on using the vellum paper that came in the kit. What I did first was fussy cut from one of the papers the title of the card. Then I cut some ribbon and then I fussy cut some flowers from the paper and I adhered them in all of the borders. In the end, I added a rhinestone in the middle of the word "big".

Hello loves! Donna here to share a planner spread idea using the exclusive February Printables designed by Maryam Perez. 

Although it is designed to coordinate with the February "Atacama" Kit, it can also be used as a stand alone. Just like I did with my planner spread for next week.

This is how it turned out. I really like it, simple but pretty!

This Month we got these super adorable Pom Poms in the February Atacama Main Kit!!

I knew immediately that I wanted to use these pompoms for something differently. For a while now I have been toying with the idea of using fabric on my scrapbooking projects. When I got thinking about the many ways to use these pompoms I finally decided on something a bit different. 
I thought it would be fun to make a cover for my Traveler's Notebooks. I generally have about three TN's that I am using at one time. A Traveler's Notebook that is meant for mixed media, so it has thicker paper that takes to all the media I want to throw at it. I also have a TN from Midori that has teal paper, this is my all time favorite Traveler's Notebook. I think it's my favorite cause it's teal and super fun. I got it from an Amy Tan class I took in Hawaii. I also keep the current Traveler's Notebook from my Clique Kits TN kit's I am currently using. Some months I fill up my TN and some month's I only add a few spreads. 
I also don't mind if they get bulky, but that's where the covers come in handy. They really need to live up to all the stuff I end up sticking in my notebooks. 

For the cover I added some thin chipboard on the front and back sides on the inside of the fabric. Each side is about five and a half inches wide so that it leaves room for different size notebooks.  It is nine and a half inches tall.   I left one and a half inch of plain fabric for the spine. I added elastic bands to hold my notebooks. 

This notebook cover is really simple, since I don't really sew often. It was a great thing to make to move into  something crafty and into the sewing arena. I didn't do any fancy stitching but to add flare, I stitched the pompom fringe to the edges on both the top and bottom of the cover. 

The top of the cover needed something to on it so it wasn't so bare. I thought it would be really cute if I tried some of the ephemera from the Atacama Main Kit from the Crate Paper Good Vibes collection. I also added a few tidbits from the Crate Paper Main Squeeze embellishments that I had, like the die cut pack and the heart tassels. This also matches the pompom tassels on the side. 

This fringe frame is perfect to house some die cuts and washi. I stapled the frame on to make it more sturdy but the rest of the ephemera I used red line tape to adhere them. This way I could change them out if I feel the need too. The redline tape would keep the card stock die cuts from falling off. I am loving al the bright colors in this kit. 

I hope today I inspired you to try something a little different with your kits. You don't have to just use them on paper, and when you mix paper crafting with other hobbies you love you have much chances to show off your creations!!

..........it all goes horribly wrong!
We've all been there..that spread we thought would be awesome and work perfectly in our minds and then..sticker explosion! stamping that doesnt coordinate the way we wanted it to! ....throwing stuff all over the page in unabashed chaos hoping it will all go right... you know you've been there.
 Thats where I was with this TN spread. Nothing..I mean nothing...was going my way during this creative period...and I got it all on camera, just for you! 
 What saved me? Ultimately, it was just pulling off and puling away and covering up what wasnt working for me till I got back to the bones of the spread. Then choosing one set of products (in this case, printables) and sticking just to that....also, embracing the mess and the fact that this spread wasnt going to be perfect and adding some black mist and intentionally messy stamping...Would you like to see??

This month's printables, desgined by the oh so talented Maryam Perez, are just lovely. I had printed and cut them all out the night before and I was so happy with them...dont ask me what possessed me to throwing things on this page initially...the world may never know....how about some close-ups...
