Hello Clique International friends! Giorgia here today to give you some infos about our current challenge on The Clique Facebook group and to share with you my project for it! April is all about "Re-Focusing": we are sharing with you some tips to use photography in different ways to document our memories. The first prompt is "Great Candids": let's try to not pose our subject, to shoot pictures while they are working, or playing, from different angles, in a sequence... I chose this particular prompt because, having a 2 years old, is so funny to capture her real essence by shooting pictures while she is having fun, making something for the first time, enjoying her childhood, exploring... These are the pictures I love the most! Some days ago we went to a park near our home and she started hugging all the trees, so I grabbed my phone and took a sequence of pictures capturing my sweet little tree hugger! It doesn't matter if they aren't perfect, these pictures will treasure forever this great memory of Bella exploring nature! I was really, really inspired by "Nature Lover" kit, that is just perfect for this kind of pictures exploring nature! I especially loved the butterfly paper and the packs of butterflies ephemera and sequins included in the kit: these were the starting point for my creative process! I fussy cut all the butterflies and golden branches and arranged them as a wreath; I cut a circular piece of tulle and used it as pocket for my sequins and butterflies ephemera. I stitched down the wreath and I added some flowers here and there. I added puffy stickers of little animals, insects and even a fungus, to create a scene for the pictures (and to cover my shadow, that was in the right down corner! You can still use those not perfect pictures, you only need to embellish them a little bit!) I will add journal later in the layout, since I want to precisely document these lovely memory. I used these kits from the shop:
If you want to try a shaker layout, here you can find amazing sequins packs to fill your layout! I hope you will join us on The Clique and play; we will have a new prompt with DT inspirations each week! Ciao, a presto
